do you have any media players? It sounds to me like your computer can't find the program you need to watch it.

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

The VLC player is probably the best player out there it has all the codecs encoded into it already. It makes it easier to use then DivX. Other wise there is the DivX player with it you would need to download extra codecs and install them. Thats why VLC is easier to use.

Anyway try that and let me know if it doesn't work. Other then that its possible that your missing a driver you need on your computer.

can you play any other avi's? If it will play then try redownloading. If at that point it still wont play I would opt for it being a missing driver.

hm it may be a codec issue??? perhaps getting a codec pack may assist

www.divx.com they should have divx codec there. if im not mistaken that is the codec taht the avi's are using.

zaf and the team are working on the site, so some of the sections might not be working so that the problems can be fixed. if you really need a good explanation check the site and look at the news. everything that the team is doing to fix or help the site is there. next time check the news before you do anything becausew it will explain alot.

Hi I'm new in this forum although I tried to register a couple of times before but got a bad connection. :D

Chances are you can encounter a lot of files that need different codecs so I suggest you get G-Spot Codec Information Appliace. This shows you why the file can't open and what codec you need to play them.

I think Divx has a link for a download of this little program, I used it whenever a file don't open with any player I have.
