Favorite Anime Scene

As the title suggests, what is your overall favorite scene out of all anime? If you can't think of a top just list a few that either had you hooked into the moment to the point where a bomb going off outside your house wouldn't budge you, or your lower jaw was now touching the ground.

Normally I would have a hard time deciding, but I would have to say the destruction scene in Metropolis is in fact my #1:

The opening scene with Garlock in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, it was just full of GAR and manly awesomeness.

Brolly kicking Z Fighter's butt.

It is not because it was well animated or the actual fighting was something amazing (was still very good). The concept of the fight is what it makes that scene great. Z Fighters, unbeatable, who always win, fight one opponent together and still lose miserably. Just awesome.

If we are going to pick scenes from SE,wouldn't the one where Stein cuts medusa in 2 and laughs maniacally in the rain of blood be better?

That may be so, that may be so but don't you think the scene where Excalibur was rambling on and it flashed back to riding in that old cruiser car with all those people and those big comic book style words appeared on the screen? Words that made no sense...

One of the funniest scenes in One Piece

Episode 62

Crew (except luffy) is swallowed by whale. Inside they meet old man. The scene is just amazing. I laugh every time is see it.
