Luffy's mother

I still don't hear anything about his mother. Maybe missed several chapters. I just started reading One Piece 4 months ago.

I actually think the mother will come and save ace from the execution.
If you think about it, luffy's grandfather and father and him have the last name "Monkey" but ace is the only one who has the name "Portgas"

Ace probably has a different mother so I think something interesting between this will be shown very, very soon :p we haven't even heard of luffy's mom so its possible .

Ace is adopted that is why he doesnt have the same last name as Luffy. Luffy mentioned this in the manga. So they don't have the same parents.

i think luffy's mom is dead. if not than she is someone that will play a big part in luffy's adventure.

im going with she died. or at least he thinks she is dead or thats what he was told.

maybe she is a real bad person a really bad villain worse than any sichi bukai

I doubt we'll see anything of her. I've yet to read a Shonen where a character's mother is actually important.

do you think doctor vegapunk is a male.? what if SHE is luffy's mother.,that's why we never seen he's his face in manga., it said that kuma is made by vegapunk., how the hell he know all about luffy and about dragon.? and he didn't know that ace is luffy's brother., maybe it's because ace is not really luffy's brother., they just both raise by garp . .

hes been refered to as a he in the manga and the anime.

Dudes in one of the last chapters there is clearlly writen why it Portugas D. Ace and not Monkey D. Ace...
Read the chapters more carefully...It say that he took over his mothers name beacause he doesn't owe anything to his father...I think this i mentioned in his talk with Garp...
+I don't think we will se much of Luffy's mom...maybe in the end...but she is probably dead...also making this conclusion on the talk between Ace and Garp
