One piece really deserves more popularity than naruto, and definitly way more than bleach.

Truely THE best adventure and action and humor anime ive ever seen, Oda truely is a genius.

But the reason why this anime probably doesnt get as much popularity is because of the shit tastic dubbing the american companies did to this anime, that no one is really thinking of giving this a shot. I can practically guarantee you that 80% of the people that actually watch naruto or bleach have started first watching the dubs.

Kinda feel bad, people are missing out on literally one of the most epic anime shows out there (no exaggeration) There is a good reason why its number 1 in japan show ranks currently.

Whats tehre to hate about this show

Oda actually manages to have the largest cast of characters and actually piece them all together perfectly.

Monkey D Luffy - A retarded pirate who wants to be the strongest pirate alive (pirate king) (This character is probably the most hilarious character youll see in all of anime)
Roronoa Zoro - Goal to become the number one swordsman in the world with a lack of directions and anger problem (his rival MIhawk is just fucken wicked)
Sanji - a love cook that just wants to sleep with every girl he sees. (wants to find the Ocean "all blue" which is said to be a myth)
Nami - One of the finest navigators in the world, but she enjoys stealing from people including her own crew mates (wants to be the first to map out an entire map of the world)
Chopper - Apprentice of one of the greatest doctors in the world, but is extremely shy (and is a reindeer O.O)
Ussop - Son of one of the greatest marksmen in the world (however he is a coward, but he is absolutley hilarious)

One piece is truely everything you could want in an anime in one, with one of the best storylines ive ever seen. The way these characters interact with one another is just hilarious. Its just truely amazing how different each of the characters are, you will probably never see 2 of the same type of personalities.

Some people think "omg there are many episodes though to watch!" i will personally give you guys my torrent that has 61.6 gigs of onepiece all the way up to 370 in order and organized in folders that has a great seed rate of at least 200k/b's

I don't agree with the "80% of people started watching dubs first of naruto/bleach". Out of hundreds of people I know that watch naruto&bleach only like.. 2 of them have watched the dubs first and the rest watched subs at start.

Everything else is fine IMO, one piece can be comparable to top 1st anime right now and deserves to be compared. For an anime yes I guess. But for the actual story/plot/characters (or all in 1 word... manga) naruto takes it all IMO. (yes my opinion).

If people actually died in one piece i'd go hell yeah w/ one piece though.

Anyways I just watched this ep earlier and it was pretty good. I'm losing my interest in robin slowly ;[

I saw OP dubs once upon a time before I watched anime and said "wow, this show sortof blows" then got into the subs a year or two later. I agree with Lucas though, if OP was sliiightly more adult in the sense that Oda will actually kill off good guys, it would be one of the best.

And yeh, also losing interest in Robin, shes gone from quiet, strong and cool (I thought she rivaled the Luffy/Zoro/Sanji trio) to well... kinda whiny.

Great fight though, I'm glad to see them do a good job with this, the pacing is even pretty good.
