I was wondering, if you guys dont think this would be a great idea. I love the new functions on NC. Why not make it better. I mean we all have established good friendships here, not all of us have msn, aim or some other im. And with flashchat we can chat on NC with all our favourite people. I saw it on another site and it worked great. I dont know what the procedure would be for getting it on NC. Because I know this is a global forum. But can anyone perhaps explain to me and let me know what the pro's and con's are ? Then tell me what you think of it.

Anyways, there are spam zones for conversations, I don't really see a need for a separate chat box.

Ya I've seen it work decently, I've also seen links to IRC channels work well on forums.

Idk if we need it, but more options is always nice I guess.

irc and chat things are cool, but the thing is do people want it to eliminate the spam zones. also they cannot handle images.

We've had mass conversations with SoS-people on MSN sometimes, and you could just see the activity on the site (especially that part) drop to below zero.

We need more activity not less, and I fear that a chat program would kill activity.

Anyway I remember the little chat thing too. It would really
suck because whenever we'd refresh the NC page, all conversation
would get lost, and you ended up missing something. =\

But I can't remember it bringing activity to a complete halt. In fact hte
spamzone blew up more those days because, you could have completely
spineless spam conversations in the little IM, and a pretty decent convo
on the forums at the same time.

My point exactly. Because, I'm not an SOS member. I know you guys have loads of fun there. Thus in the normal spam zone, you dont get to chat with all the great members because they alot of them go chat in the SOS Spam Zone.

Plus I didnt say we're going to use that specific one of $9 lolz. That was just an example

Why not, most people have shout otu boxes or chat boxes on the bottom that are free to use and can be added by simply putting it into the skin code.

Its just an easier way to chat with people immediately online rather than refreshing your page ever second waiting for a response. And it actually does help in the spam zone, even if it does get cleaned out every so often.

Im with you on the idea tsunade but im not paying money for it lol xD.
