WOW! just read the chapter and all I can say at the moment is.... Sasuke fails miserably....again!!

Awesome chapter. How many times is it now that Sasuke is supposed to be dead? Team Hawk and Sasuke are completely getting their asses handed to them. 8 tails is no joke at all.

They better come up with something quick or Madara, Kisame and/or Zetsu better save them quickly. btw, is Sasuke's cursed seal completely gone? Gone or not Juugo seems to be talking about some kind of fusion. Interesting.

an ox. awesome. just pure win, especially with sasuke practically dying. that's what he gets for underestimating his opponent. well there was one thing we learned for sure, if naruto learns how to control the kyuubi and learns how to have a symbiotic relationship, then the sharingan's illusions will no longer work. which is great for naruto since he sucks at genjutsu.

also it seems we find out how juugo will die later on. i think sasuke will be hurt greatly and juugo will let sasuke absorb him completely so that he can survive whatever great damage he receives.

it was only easy because the opponent has a freaking bijuu inside him lol. But I do get your point. But it wasn't Itachi's Tsukuyomi. I have a feeling that would be a lot harder to shrug off, even if you are the Hachibi.

But here's to Naruto learning how to become symbiotic with the Kyuubi, the strongest of the bijuus. He'd freaking pwn Sasuke like nobody's business if he could do what the Hachibi is doing

ohh it was never said that he bit her that many times, but im assuming that they have been in a lot of situations where he would of had to bite her. unless they are scars from orochimaru or other people from way back when. or even juugo and sui may have had a little taste of karins stuff


im guessing if it is naruto and kyuubi breaking of a genjutsu even tsukiyomi would be broken i think because they have unlimited chakra as a pair. and kyuubi is beastyly.

im thinking if naruto is able to control kyuubi and if he transforms into kyuubi to fight the other biju in madaras control how cool that would be. im thinkng that kyuubi in narutos control cant be controlled by MS maybe because there are to minds so when 1 is about to be controlled the other snaps them out of it.

if 8 tails is able to control the full beast mode. i wonder if naruto will be able to as well coz that would be insane. seeing a kyuubi but in a state where he isnt crazy killing anyone but going after narutos enemy.

If you look at the last page you can see that one of the 8t's horns has the tip chopped off, and if the guy's brother was the only one who could deflect the 8 tails, he probably was the one to take out the horn. He must have been superpowerful as well.


I'm beginning to think that the 8 tails guy might play a bigger role in the manga besides sauske-fodder (maybe even training naruto to control the 9 tails)

Yea, I'm also starting to think that 8th tails might get a regular spot in the manga. But something worries. You see nearly all characters that died so far showed their ultimate forms/techinques. 8th Tail eventhough he could pwn all of the Team Hawk without his Full Transformation, just transformed fully at the end of chapter. It's like Kishi wants to use all his might before he kills him. He just didn't need to do a full transformation yet. If he can pawn sasuke like that in partial transformation, he could pwn the whole Team Hawk.

Also 8th tail doesn't look like the guy to have mercy. If noone interferes, as things are going Sasuke and co. will probably die. But then we know that it's too early for Sasuke to die, so he will either get help or some kind of stupid upgrade.

in terms of the host controlling its bijuu, I think naruto is able to stay conscious up to the 3rd tail at the moment, as we saw in his fight with oro, he was completely unaware when the 4th tail came out. needless to say the 8th tail host is TANK compared to other hosts, I mean he completely dominates his bijuu in terms of control. if we look at gaara, two tails and naruto, they were only able to call out their bijuu through excessive emotions.

Not really a stupid question at all, although we don't know how many MS jutsus Madara has, or Sasuke will have, we've only seen one from Kakashi. As For he's MS Eye that didn't look all that much like Tsukiyomi,At least it didnt show him strapped to anything and Sasuke stabbing the swors himself,but then again who knows.

And i unno if its just me but it looks kinda obvious hat he has at least one more technique,hence he's other sharingan eye is covered when he uses he's Right eye.I could be wrong though and Sasuke might only have one and is using up one good eye so when it goes bad he can use he's other good eye.

Just when I was starting to curse Kishi for not putting any suspense into this fight, that guy pulled that move on Sasuboy. :yo: And the beast looks awesome too (reminded of when we first saw Oz from OP, dunno why).

I'd really like to see a "secondary" character like Kakashi or Tsunade going against the 8 tails, just for the "he/she can really Die!" :eek:type of mindset), but if Sasuke gets his ass kicked (I know he isn't going to die, of course), this might make it up, lol.

As for a prediction:
Team Hawk is going down, 'cept Sasu and maybe Karin; I think they are all pathetic characters, honestly (and by that, I also mean weak for "Naruto standards"), and we will now see their true colors: deluxe canon fodder. Madara will probably have to deal with the 8 tails himself.
And that old guy from the Chuunin exams will make his 50th try. I pity the fool.

Well in Hebi the only one that I dont like is Karin but Juugo and Suigetsu are good characters in my opinion...I really want to see a Sui VS Kisame but I'am sure someone like Gai will kill Kisame.I always liked the Mist shinobis in Naruto:P

The problem with Sasuke's Gang is that they haven't showed any reasons for me to care for them. I find Juugo completely "random" in lack of a better word and Karin is really a stupid character and it seems to be there only to appeal to 13 year old virgin boys.
Suigetsu had the most potential to be interesting, IMHO, but somehow that was lost in his "personality" (i find him kinda bratty and annoying). When he first showed up, I saw him in a different light, if this makes ANY sense.:confused:

i HIGHLY doubt kisame vs sui right now if he came. right now sui doesnt have the power to fight kisame aand also their main objective is to get 8 tails so they will work in a team at worst. imo kisame wouldnt want to fight in a team with them unless it would get the job done faster.

I'm thinking that when Jugo (w/e) started healing Sauske, it wasn't that he was going to get the cursed seal back so much as he's compatible when Jugo's essence so he'll be able to heal his flesh with Jugo's. I don't think Sauske will be able to get the CS back but he's going to recover because he had the CS before.

Sauske and crew are not going to be able to retreat. I doubt the 4tails is really wanting to let them go after revealing so much in this fight. He found some people that need to die, and will not allow them the chance to escape. They will have to some how beat 4tails without all the little tricks Sauske has. The only thing I can see as being a good combatant against 8 tails here is Susanoo. I don't really want to see Itachi's trump pulled out by Sauske, but it's one of the only counters I can see being viable against such a powerful enemy.

Oh yeah, there are so many hints being dropped about Naruto and what he can do if he can accomplish what Jiraiya set out to do. Lets see here, "in order to break the illusion I need a partner who can distrub my chakra and snap me out of it. My partner is the Beast inside me. Illusions won't work on a host who can control their beast." Can we say NARUTO!!!!

I love how at first we thought that Sauske just got close lined by 8tails but then there's the chakra in the shape of a bulls heat with his horns gording Sauske and f-d his world. Nothing like seeing Sasuke get his ass handed to him .... shame all his friends have all these sudden recover abilities. What's going to happen next, the heat of the 8tails chakra sucks the mositure out of Sauske and Suigetsu comes along and says "Drink me and refil your moisture and Chakra, I don't mind" and 30 minutes later, Sauske drains ... the .... Suigetsu ... *cough*

This fight clearly shows that if naruto has a killing intent, he can pwn sasuke!! I think this is something to show how that fight in the future will go, I have never seen sasuke struggle w/ a opponet this much! He should have died twice already, if it werent for his team and all the other fights were one on one, maybe this is why its being shown this way to show how superior naruto will be to sasuke!!

There's two things that interest me about this chapter :

1) Sasuke had his chest and neck torn open and he is alive (NECK !!!!!!!)

2) Hachibi said that if the Bijuu and Jinchiruki are "friends" then they can never be subdued using genjutsu, this leads me to believe Itachi gave Naruto some other kind of gift, NOT a genjutsu breaking ability. Naruto just has to get on 9 tail's good side, lol.


Oh and side note, did anyone notice how Tsokuyomi just became shit, after being the unbeatable genjutsu.

Juugo dies from sacrificing his flesh to Sasuke, Sasuke doesn't gain the "cursed seal" but he has trouble controlling his mind as Juugo does.

The 8tails will be nearly killed by an enraged Sasuke when Kisame misdirects his chidori blade with his sword (which, gets damaged). The 8 tails takes the blade through the shoulder just before Madara jumps down, grabs him and vanishes. Kisame makes a smug remark at Suigetsu's puddle of a body as he takes Zabuza's sword and leaves.

I think this is something to show how that fight in the future will go, I have never seen sasuke struggle w/ a opponet this much! Agreed. It is too entertaining to see Sasuke get beatdown over and over in this fight. And yes we've never seen him struggle so much. I think that's in part because this is his first really strong opponent who's actually trying to kill him. Itachi and Oro didn't count. And Deidera was good but he doesn't compare to Itachi, Oro and 8tails. I wonder how this is all going to turn out.

Well saying that they are weak in Akastuki standards you could look at it 2 ways:
1, They are all young and inexpeirenced plus they are facing the 2nd strongest of the tailed beasts.
Or 2 they are really weak cause Akastuki moves in teams of 2 and we know Deidara and Kisame both caught a beast on their own.

Tsukynomi like any other genjutsu can be dispelled by someone disrupting the chakra. It's just the fact that Tsukynomi is generally very fast. I.E. Kakashi felt 72 hours of pain in a split second. Not enough time really for some to grab you and help (unprepped at least).

I do agree that Sasuke is way above par for a shinobi. In fact he ranks very high overall.

Sasuke's battle with most jounin would be easily his. Though fighting someone like Kakashi or Guy is a little different. It's not just about raw strength.

Stats wise I'd say Sasuke is above Kakashi. Though Itachi was above Sasuke is the same regard. Pure strength doesn't equal a victory all the time. Naruto has an immense raw power but that doesn't mean he can easily defeat Sasuke.

On another note, any see Sasuke getting some CS abilities back since he's getting some Juugo flesh and chakra? Like having CS w/o Oro control.

Hm...why not a genjutsu? I mean out of all the MS techniques, there can be only genjutsu or ninjutsu to choose from after all...one could be stronger than the other. And if it only takes a partner's burst of chakra to take him out of the genjutsu, then it'll literally only take a second and he'll be out again. He did figure out it was a genjutsu rather quickly, so getting out of it as quick is he didn't isn't that surprising.

Thing is with Naruto, he'll have to get Kyuubi to not only lend him chakra, but actually work with him like the 8 tail did with 8TJ. Kyuubi doesn't seem to want to cooperate with Naruto, so if he doesn't have control of Kyuubi, he woudln't be able to break out of genjutsus throught that method.

Telling us one (or both) of two things:

1) Like you said, Sasuke isn't as good as Itachi in genjutsu
2) Sasuke's jutsu isn't the same as Itachi's. Kakashi said that if you're struck by Itachi's genjutsu, then there's no getting out, but not the same has to hold true for Sasuke's genjutsu.

And Kakashi isn't taking bijuus into consideration. When you have basically an unlimited supply of chakra, then you can do all kinds of good stuff that the normal nin can't do. I doubt even Itachi could hold 8tj with his genjutsu, cause 8tj can blast ITachi with more chakra at once then Itachi even has altogether.

Well first off, we don't know if it can control kyuubi while it's sealed in Naruto which seems very unlikely since it couldn't do anything. Secondly, it can be argued if Naruto actually wanted kyuubi's chakra would Sasuke's suppression of it actually have worked.

Also, if he has complete control over the kyuubi then I think the Sharingan wouldn't be able to do anything.

Well mabey just but that still doesn't change the fact about tsykuyomi(am not sure if am spelling it right) and amatserasu are godly compared to Sasuke's hadly show new technique(spelt it wrong ).So far sasuke was only able to break off Tskuyome due to He's Sharingan and he's amatserasu was nearly well blocked but not beaten.And still doesn't change the fact either that he'd go throw three power upgrades under one fight.And not even a full fight and an explanation of he's full MS.

The 8 tails already showed his power, which I'm sure wasn't his full capacity, and now transformed. How can this big ass thing defeat them? Right now it turned into a pure battle of power imo... no way in hell can you have speed with a size THAT huge.

I think the tide will begin to turn or something will happen that will take advantage of the humongous amount of chakra the 8 tails is emitting. That could be their weakness, the tails that is. When they release they are susceptible to certain techniques and jutsus that weaken them.

Well, it doesn't really tell us much about what sand is made of, lightning is weak against wind after all, so the advantage created by lightning vs. earth be nullified by the disadvantage of lightning vs. wind.

One could argue that because they're little particles flying around, or that it seems like earth broken up by wind, that's could be why sand is incorporated.

I agree with the consensus about the Sand thing, because I doubt Gaara'a ability was due to a bloodline. Rather I think it was because of him being the host for Shukaku who probably passed on the ability to control sand.

But as for predictions. . .
I am almost wondering if Sauske is going to regain the CS from Juugo, that of course will result from Juugo fusing with Sauske (If that's even what he's doing I'm not sure). I predict Sauske getting thrashed around some more (Yay!), but he'll probably come out on top (Boooo!). I am wondering about the Ox with tentacles thing though. Right, only all other bloodlines have been inherited by other members of the clans, most notably doujutsus. Yamato was implanted with Shodai's genes, so you're saying he was lucky that it worked on him?
