plot(as told by wiki):
Sentan Island is a small island surrounded by the Yuden Sea. It exists in a state of dreamlike tranquility, cut off from the war between the Northern Government and the Southern Continent Free Zone. Akiyuki Takehara lives on Sentain Island along with his mother Fusa, He is currently separated from his father, the town doctor Ryuzo, but the bond between father and son remains. One day, after taking Ryuzo the lunch that Fusa has made for him as usual, Akiyuki is caught up in an explosion along with his friends, Haru and Furuichi. The explosion produces a mysterious light which enters Akiyuki's arm, causing him excruciating pain. He's given no time to understand it, however, as the white-haired girl who rode on the bus with him guides him to a power unlike anything he's ever known. He transforms into a creature called Xam'd.

This is so far a pretty amazing anime, created by bones aka. the people who brought you Eureka Seven and Ouran High Host Club and other magnificent titles

just watched ep 2, and it was really good, nothing seemed out of place though i still have barely any idea of what's going on.

but i really wanna know why exactly rocks were devouring him and wth the rocks are and did the xam'd usually have birthday parties or something?

But damn all the episodes are coming in 720p around 400 MB each ...

thats the beauty of it. that is the only way they are aired on the ps3. then it just gets ripped and people do the encoding.

if you havnt been watching many series lately, alot of shows are being aired in 720p. or upscaled to 720p.

casshern sins, kuroshitsuji, etc that i dont feel like naming lol. if you care at all about quality, there is a huge difference between dtv and hdtv.

edit: the problem was that somedouches was the raw releaser and he hadn't released anything for a while due to whatever reasons. now that he is, groups have been working on encoding.

Yeah, you are right, 720p is the new standard and is slowly picking up ... but there are some people. like me. who have slow internet, now its a problem for them to download 400 MB episodes ... for instance it took me around 1.5 hours to download the first one >.< ... And not to forget that there are even people who don't have such high end pcs that support 720p ...

Yeah, you are right, 720p is the new standard and is slowly picking up ... but there are some people. like me. who have slow internet, now its a problem for them to download 400 MB episodes ... for instance it took me around 1.5 hours to download the first one >.< ... And not to forget that there are even people who don't have such high end pcs that support 720p ...


if you have trouble with h264, try getting coreavc. it handles it really well for computer with low specs.

as for ddl on this, i can try to find it if you want me to.



edit: i found ddls for it. however i personally like YSOSRS and they don't have the all the ddls for them. if you don't care you can get other groups also, if you don't archive your anime.

fabulous is gg fansubs. GGR is the fastest it seems and Somedouches are the raw providers and do release subs but their files are really bulky, ie over 400. whereas the other groups are usually around 330.
