This thread is for Mods ONLY.

The way this thread is used is we, the Mods, quote members who have brought bright ideas to our attention. However, some of those ideas cannot be met for certain reasons and this thread will explain why. Also, when there are questionable things going on, we will explain WHY those things are being done.

(Basically...we tell you why things can or cannot be done xD!)

Just ban the isp or something.
Do it properly for once. This is the , 3-4 time this happens and you still havent realized whats going ?

How about banning proxy connections?
Make new comers unable to create threads without being pre-screened by a moderator?
Enlengthen the registration?
Ban the whole ISP hes using.
An IP ban isnt gonna do jack @$$.

These are very good ideas Arty.

But, Gmods and Lmods are unable to IP ban. Only Admins can do that UNTIL they give Gmods more permissions. (I have already talked to zafar about this.)

When members come back from being banned, what NNT said is true. We give them chances. Sometimes way too many chances. But of course when that happens I have to come in and play the mean mod -.-. But because I do not take the time to recap on issues that DO tend to get out of hand, what I say is usually and normally very lenient. But once someone steps a certain boundary after I begin to put my foot down, I do tend to pay close attention to it for at least two weeks.

The IP issues goes for Proxy as well. We do not have those permissions.

We have tried this already and it phailed miserably. Since the new forum layout and updates, every mod simply have less permissions than they had in the previous forum. So when we did make it so that "we" had to validate accounts, we couldn't. Only admins could. We only have three admins, which of who are extremely busy unless mods aggravate for their attention. (To the reachable ones that is.)
Which is why we had to settle for certain about of post count before being able to make a thread in designated sections.

Out of the three admins, there is only ONE that I get in touch with. That would be zafar. (Thanks to him for having a messenger!! :3)

Once again Arty, these are very good ideas, but we have already tried everything you have mentioned above. <3
