Mission Specs.
D Rank: Capture the flag!
Academy students are having their annual ‘train with a real shinobi’ day and real Genin are being chosen to lead a squad of runny nosed, inexperienced academy students in a game of capture the flag. You and your academy students will ‘play’ a mock ninja war in the bushes and trees. You will teach them the basics of how to track, raid, ambush, and defend against their enemies.
The game will be held at training area 12. Your objective is to lead your team of upstarts to victory against another Genin and his squad! You will use all normal ninja tactics except only wooden weapons will be used. You will not fatally harm anyone but do what ever you need to win!
Game Rules.
*Each team will set up their home base on opposite sided of training area 12. You will also create a jail area for prisoners. If a prisoner is tagged by one of his team mates this constitutes an ‘escape’ in which you must give him a 60 second head start before pursuing.
*Anyone can be taken prisoner. In a one on one encounter you may attempt to resist capture and battle your opponent. In a two on one encounter, if you are held in place by both opponents and cannot fight them off in more then 10 seconds then you have been captured. At the same time, a real shinobi may take a single academy student captive if he can subdue him for more than 10 seconds. When you are determined ‘captured’ you will be escorted to the opposing team’s jail by a referee. Also, you will not lose any items you are carrying when taken prisoner, however, as a prisoner you may not influence the rest of the game other than talking to others.
*You will be given materials to construct your flag before the event starts. You will be given a 3 foot wooden stick and the flag. You may design your flag anyway you want but you may not booby trap the flag or stick.
*If desired, your team may choose to wear short wave radios. You will declare in your post what channel your radio is set to. It’s not illegal if the opposing team scans every channel looking for your frequency. If taken prisoner you may still use your radio.
*There are Hyuuga referees hidden all over field. It’s their job to make sure that no one is killed. You may do all but dismember or kill people. The referees are also there to help verify for disputes.
*You and your academy students may operate on any part of the field, however, only academy students are allowed to physically touch the opposing team’s flag.
*If Team A’s flag has been taken, then all prisoners in Team A’s jail are automatically freed.
*To win, you must capture the opposing team’s flag and return it to your home base. Upon returning with the opposing team’s flag, you must also be in possession of your own flag. Hence, you must be in possession of both flags to win. If for some reason both teams manage to capture each other’s flag and return it to their bases then the game will restart until one of the teams are in possession of both flags.

Though Takahashi grimaced in disgust when imagining prancing and prattling Academy Students on a mission, he was nonetheless excited at the prospect of a "Capture the Flag" game. When the youngster first obtained the mission scroll, he heaved a sigh of relief. With a guilty conscience, the genin assumed that the only people "counting on" him were the three Academy Students. In other missions, people like great painters, clan leaders, and influential families counted on him. This was only somewhat true; he would be terribly mistaken if he believed there would be no consequence in failure. Takahashi - being not entirely foolish - knew this, and resolved to work the hardest he could. However, sometimes, failure was inevitable. If this was one of those unfortunate occasions - which came very, very rarely - then the genin was comforted to know that the fall wouldn't be so great, or so he thought.
Takahashi was standing on top of his apartment building, which stretched far above most, giving him a good view of the village beyond his immediate sight from ground level. Specks of people crowded through several streets, but the majority of the village was only inhabited by sparse specks, spread out here and there. It was most likely the result of the distance, restricting his vision from seeing more of these "specks", so he strained his eyes. Takahashi was so intent on viewing the village to its fullest that he failed to notice a patter of feet rush behind him....
???: Gotcha!
Irritated and surprised, the boy whirled around to distinguish the one guilty of surprising him. To a second surprised, he saw one boy, a few years than himself, standing face-to-face with him, unflinching. He had a pitiful and appeasing complexion and looked at the genin with wonder... almost admiration. Takahashi was wary; why had this kid just snuck up on him? Was it some kind of prank... if it was, why did he have this face on? The genin raised an eyebrow and began sizing up the boy, who was evidentially an academy student. He was a boy, maybe ten years of age. He had large glasses and a pouch full of equipment. It was nothing out of the ordinary, just a regular kid that he could find on the. Suddenly, more patters could be heard and a giggle. Takahashi spun around and suddenly the boy jumped on him, leaping onto his head!
It was a blur, a loud, noisy, violent blur. He was brought down by shapes and knocked to the floor, smashing his head against the rooftop while simultaneously struggling to keep his balance. Takahashi groaned a little as the weight was lifted from his back and turned over to see three academy students leaning over him, one of them being the boy that had shouted, "Gotcha". Trying to maintain whatever dignity that he still possessed, Takahashi stumbled up and flipped off the roof onto the ground below. The three academy students followed suit and soon, the genin was eyeing them curiously. They tried to maintain placid facial expressions but ended up with a awkward grimace. The other two were a boy and girl. The boy had long sleeves and a collar for his sweatshirt, topped with dark sunglasses to cover his eyes. The girl had a lighter complexion and grinned nonchalantly. She carried an oversized equipment pouch and wielded a staff upon her back.
Takahashi: So... I'm assuming you guys are the academy students I'm supposed to lead in the Capture the Flag Mission? I'm also assuming you guys didn't feel like following your instructions and decided to venture to my place? Lucky for you guys, I didn't leave yet.
They stood, wide-eyed, staring at him. It didn't seem like they were going to talk to him. It seemed like they didn't like to be accused of disobeying orders. At least, eagerness for a mission was better than to remiss one's duties.
Takahashi: Alright, where are the materials for the flag
Almost simultaneously, each of them produced a part of the flag. Like described in the mission scroll, there was a three-foot-long wooden stick and a blank flag. Takahashi took these equipment and snapped his fingers at the girl who looked appalled. Suddenly, the genin realized that he had no clue of their names. He assumed that the one in the dark sunglasses was Shija of the Aburame Clan... the girl was TenEleven... and who was the last one? Oh, yeah... Ramen. What a peculiar name...
Takahashi: Alright... as for the decoration of the flag.... no, screw it! We're not going to spend time decorating a stupid flag... here...
The blunt boy took out a piece of tape and attached the flag to the stick. Immediately, he turned back to the group of Academy Students.
Takahashi: Show me what'cha got...

A leader was a leader, regardless of if he were commanding a large army or a small team, whether he was in golden armor or a peasant's cloak. Leaders guide and aid their team, earning their team's respect as they go along. It was like the first bird of a flock. He paves the way, traveling south in the winter and north in the summer. The first bird must have a strong resolve and a determined mindset. He must be able to make decisions with precision and wit. Takahashi felt the weights of all these virtues weigh down upon him. On top of that, a pang of guilt flashed through the genin as he realized that he hadn't been acting like a leader... he was acting like a superior.
Trying to desperately vindicate himself from the guilt, Takahashi with a meticulous eye, searched through the Academy Student's pouches; they had obviously packed with haste. Within the largest pouch - that of TenEleven's - Takahashi found a massive assortment of equipment. The boy eyed the equipment with all but lust and turned away to look through the significantly smaller pouch of Shiji's and the virtually empty one of Ramen's. Currently, Takahashi was the most interested in TenEleven...
Takahashi: So... you're a weapon specialist, I take it?
Ramen: Yeah... she is.
Takahashi: Why don't you let her talk for herself?
Suddenly, to his great surprised, the once grinning girl had turned red. She tried to hide her face with her hands and between fingers, glared at Ramen. Ramen gave her a 'what did I do?' look and sat down. She shook her head solemnly and began sulking. Takahashi averted his attention from the girl, who was practically boiling and turned to the one who hadn't spoken a word since his arrival: Shija. Since young, Takahashi, being from the Ketsueki Clan had been mocked with a disgusting ability. He knew that the Aburame were mocked even harsher... bugs. However, Takahashi didn't flinch at the though of bugs; in fact, he was quite interested in them. He knew that bugs were no trivial creatures, especially when they came in number. These kikai - Aburame Clan bugs - could become greatly useful for the boy in this particular mission.
Takahashi: SOOO, how about you Shija?
Shija shifted from his torpid position to a attentive one. Though his eyes were blocked by the large sunglasses, Takahashi thought he could sense a burning intensity in the the boy. Shija cleared his throat quite loudly and with a soporific voice, began to speak.
Shija: I'm from the Aburame Clan. I can use my bugs for surveillance, distraction, and communication!
He spoke the last sentence with the intensity that Takahashi thought he sawa beneath the boy's sunglasses. Though it was in the back of his mind, the genin had already begun formulating a strategy that would allow them to obtain the flag. He then addressed all three academy students, his voice emphatic to make them listen.
Takahashi: Alright. We're heading out to Training Area 12. Shija, bring the flag...

As Takahashi led the three academy students, he tried to distance himself from them, completely contradicting and nulling any vindication he had tried to make of his earlier guilt. In distancing himself from the three academy students, he tried to distinguish himself as a genin. Shija, the tallest of them all, kept up with the most ease while the other two were panting as they tagged behind Shija. Takahashi tried to give the impression that he was forced to babysit a onerous bunch of kids.
Takahashi paid extra attention to the growing lassitude of the students; the panting was growing heavier and heavier as they ran to keep up with his long strides. Finally - with reluctance evident in every movement - the genin slowed down, allowing them to catch their breath. As he resumed his pace, he smelled the insipid taste of the urban part of town. Smells of diverse nature mingled together to create one dull medley of tastes, like bright colors mingling to become ugly shades of grey. Wrinkling his nose, the boy moved even quicker... they were about to reach Training Area 12...
With a complacent grin backwards, Takahashi let their signs of lassitude die as he came up with an impromptu complexion which resembled the very superiority he deemed unworthy of a leader. However, even with the smug glance, this seemed to enervate the young students; they most likely perceived as a grin of determination. What the youngster tried to aim to avoid was creating a dour demeanor; a team, if expected to win, should be invigorated and energized.
ARGGG!!!
The shout broke any silent insinuations in his glances, completely dwarfing it with its volume. The group of four began racing towards the arena to see where the noise had come from to find Training Area 12 - the once massive, plain grassland - dug up with dirt mounds and ditches. Now, shinobi had utilized water jutsu to fill a ditch to create a long, hampering, stream the cut down one entire end of the training arena. Suddenly, four figures appeared in the whirling dust.
???: Look at what the cat dragged in! Ha!

05-21-2008, 08:14 PM
Out of an ascending cloud of smoke, a lanky man approached, his arms stretching towards the four as if to grab them. He was quite a bit older than Takahashi and - when the genin thought he was about to grip him - swerved away to sit on a log, right along the sidelines of the Training Arena. Suddenly, four more shapes appeared - their opponents in this Capture the Flag match. At first sight, one already knew that they were a voluble bunch, prattling on and on with things that had nothing to do with what they were he for... typical academy students. Takahashi was thankful his student's weren't like that; well, maybe Ramen was but Shija was from the Aburame Clan and TenEleven was shy.
The dust settled in the arena and in front of their eyes, the Training Arena 12 was completely changed. Now, with their vision unhindered, large ditches in the ground were visible: each was filled with water. The ditches were lined in a perfect semicircle around a highly decorated flag at the end of the area. They smiled - clearly enjoying themselves - while Takahashi, Ramen, TenEleven, and Shija gaped. Ramen stepped up to protest but with a quick and sturdy hand, Takahashi pushed him back in a silencing gesture. He walked up to the four, who were grinning...
Takahashi: So... what is this?
The oldest one answered; he was presumably the genin in the group.
Jimmy: Well, haha... glad you noticed. We had this done for us... we planned it, you see. It'll make it harder for you to get through!
Takahashi: Is that even allowed?
Jimmy: Well, of course... ! Unless you can find somewhere in the mission specifics that says it isn't!
Takahashi: Whatever...
He was furious; they had tore up the arena to make it harder for his team! Takahashi knew that nothing in the scroll had said anything against it. With a nonchalant shrug to the rest of the team - as if to alleviate his annoyance - he set up the flag. This was a fuel to Takahashi's determination. Large ditches would most definitely hamper their progress. The lanky man was still sitting on the side and was grinning. He shouted out instructions to Jimmy and the rest of the team: James, John, and Jones. He was most likely Jimmy's mentor... Takahashi knew many genin with senseis and teams. Takahashi had no team, but did have two senseis. He wished Splinter and Jackal were here...
As the team watched this lanky man, it was slowly revealed to them that he was bellicose in nature. The man shouted and screamed, his voice sporadically rising in volume for no particular reason. When this occurred, this man's eyebrows furrowed deeply, as if he was struggling with his vision. Takahashi couldn't help but flinch every time he shook his fist as if beating a child. However, the team prattled on, obviously accustomed to this mans' uncivil nature. They were listening to him, but blocked out the menial threats and accusations that he was giving.
The game would start soon... this would be nasty.

According to the mission scroll, several Hyuuga Clan Members would be hiding in the undergrowth around the now-leveled-arena, spying on the occurrences in this Capture the Flag game, making sure no one cheated. Those shinobi with the white-veined eyes were a mysterious bunch; Takahashi always considered them freaks. Sometimes, because of his secret fetishes, the genin wished that he was one of the Hyuuga Clan Members. Now, to think that these very shinobi that Takahashi had deemed 'freaky' were spying on him as he led his team through this ordeal... they were already at a disadvantage. It was quite unnerving.
Afraid that the team felt disheartened in any way, Takahashi addressed them. Upon doing this, he couldn't help but being reminded of a dirge. He had to enliven the team - start some fire in their hearts - but instead, a defeated song was produced from those cursed lips.
Takahashi: Alright... those bastards already dug up the arena... I don't know how they did it... they probably got some shinobi to do it for them. Those ditches are long and deep. That means, if you fall in, and the opponent jumps on you, you're screwed. Alright... let's go over capturing the opponent. You gotta subdue the opponent and bring em back to the prison, which his the right-hand corner. I'll tape it off. In the two on one encounters, you'll have to subdue them for ten seconds.
Ramen: We know the rules... we just need to know the strategy.
Takahashi: Right... err.. well, I guess the strategy is, I'll subdue the opponents... the academy students at least. Just keep your eyes on the enemy genin. His name is... Jimmy, I think... if he attacks you guys, make sure you guys challenge him two-on-one. That way, it'll be hard for him to subdue bothy of you. And... he can't grab the flag.
Shiji: Alright... anything else?
Takahashi: Hmmm... alright, lemme just go back. I'm going forward to subdue them, with... umm... Ramen. TenEleven, your good with weapons... you'll attack them from afar. Shiji. You can help out up with me and Ramen if the Jimmy kid stays back to guard. If he attacks up, you'll stay back with TenEleven.
TenEleven: That's cool. But what if the genin stays back and Shiji, you, and Ramen are all up there. Then, the three genin come up to steal our flag? Wouldn't it be me against three.
Takahashi: Well... if that's the case... then... number one, we won't let all of them pass through us when we go up to attack. Number two, you can subdue one of them from afar. I guess it all depends what they do. I'll give you guys commands as the game unfolds. Make sure you guys listen to me.
Takahashi felt much pressure to be mature. If he let go of his control and respect that the students had for him, it could be disastrous. He needed to present himself as a genin who knew what he was doing, gaining their respect. That would play a great part in their teamwork as a whole and would make the game run much smoother.
In the still-clearing smoke, an amorphous figure was visible. It could be distinguished as one of the opponent academy students...
???: Godd*mn... you guys ready yet?
What a obnoxious kid... hell, they were ready.
Takahashi: F*ck yeah.
They were going to kick this team's ass so hard, Takahashi wouldn't be surprised if he got AIDs.

Green Team (Leader: Takahashi) VERSUS Blue Team (Leader: Jimmy)
The three academy students were befuddled at what they perceived as one, long, and intricate plan. They, with their not-yet-developed brains had trouble understanding the basic principle of the speech. The idea was for them to go with the flow... there was no 'plan'... Takahashi would give orders according to their actions. Though the term wasn't the most accurate, he described this as Reverse Opposition. It was the idea of observing the opponent and striking according to the opponent's actions. That way, there wouldn't be an issue over whose plan was planned with the most wit. The side that used Reverse Opposition would always be changing to strategies that could surmount their opponents.
Although Takahashi could describe this Reverse Opposition principal with utmost accuracy, even entitling it, he knew that many shinobi do this subconsciously. However, the genin believed that by identifying it, he was put at a greater advantage than those subconscious users. Although that gave him some comfort, the boy also knew that such wasn't a secure argument to his possible victory... especially with these hellish holes that would most definitely hamper their travel and render them 'prisoners' if they were unfortunate enough to fall inside one of them.
Suddenly, a loud and resounding whistle broke the calm depths of Takahashi's mind. The game had begun...
In the distance, the team could make out two figures. One was that Jimmy - the genin - and the other was the bad-mouthed academy student, who had yelled at them to begin - his name was James.
Takahashi: (F*ck yeah... I can't wait to kick that James kid's a*s... plan, plan, plan... they've got two coming for us. What can we do?)
The boy's mind ran. How should they fend off this attack while attacking? It would be pointless if Takahashi mimicked their strategy. That would mean that he would have to rely on the team's strength, which was out of question. He wasn't given enough time to delve into each of the team member's individual strengths. What if they...
POOF!
Suddenly, smoke filled the center line of the training arena, blotting out the entire area behind the two incoming offenders. What was the smoke for... and what were they going to do. Wait, wait! They didn't need to attack just yet...
Takahashi: We're all going to defend, now... Stay together and subdue the two opponents!
The four bunched together in a tight huddle as the two split. James went towards Takahashi's right while Jimmy went towards the left. Takahashi shook his head... these people would have no chance... It was a four against two affair; the enemy was doomed...
Suddenly, some hooting sounds could be heard... flashes of skin...
Everyone: UGH... WHAT THE F*CK

Just as Takahashi's team was about to pounce upon the genin and the academy student, victory already reflecting in their eyes, something occurred... jumping out from the smoke at them. The academy students around him foundered, shielding their eyes from the onslaught on their mind. The genin shuddered but continued to draw his blood red katana. He saw Jimmy - the other genin - grin maliciously while James began attacking the shaken academy students, aiming a blow at TenEleven's head.
STREAKERS
Takahashi was sixteen; he was still a minor. Though several ero-manga books he picked up at the store contained some explicit pictures, none matched up to the two academy students that jumped out at their team with daggers in their hands. Jones and John - the two academy students that did not come with Jimmy and James.
It took all of his concentration to focus on drawing out his sword and attacking Jimmy... straining his ears, he heard Ramen shouting almost indistinguishably.
Ramen: UHHG! THEY'RE BUTT-NAKED
It was true... features in their body were showing - the worst part was they were twelve or so - puberty hadn't plagued them yet. Pre-puberty bodies rushed towards them, attacking them with ferocity and animosity. Takahashi had to move fast. Aiming a blow with his katana at one of the academy students - not the streaker: James - he was able to slice off a portion of the boy's shirt and skin. Meanwhile, Jimmy, Jones, and John were overwhelming Takahashi's three academy students with ease. Suddenly, the genin found an opportunity and pinned James to the ground.
Subduing him for well over ten seconds, the boy escorted him back to the taped off prison. The rules said nothing about babysitting - Taka would if there wasn't so much struggle occurring. Before he knew it, Jimmy was escorting Shija and Jones was escorting TenEleven back to their prison, which was an elaborately fenced off area, just behind several pits. Meanwhile, Ramen and Jones were going at it ferociously. Ramen was attacking the naked boy, who had lost the element of surprise, with his fists and feet.
Jimmy: HEY, JONES... retreat!
Upon this call, Jones made an equivocal move, faking Ramen out, and running the opposite direction with the spluttering and cursing Ramen running after him, looking disgusted at the boy's behind.
Takahashi: GET AWAY... retreat.
The boy couldn't get out the last word. He said it with almost a complacent smirk, trying to use a command. Right before he said it, however, he felt like he was copying Jimmy's command. It was disheartening, but Ramen followed his orders and came to his side.
It was three vs. two... they still had two streakers that were struggling to put back on their clothes while Jimmy grinned. He wasn't going to let dirty tactics control this game.
oipotty
05-31-2008, 11:53 PM
They had fought off the streaker threat - the opponents had jumped on their team Viking-Berserker-Style - and now there was two of them and three of them. It was unlikely they would win without the skills of TenEleven and Shija: they had distinguishable abilities. Though Ramen seemed to be resourceful, he was stubborn and that could hold Takahashi back in two-man strategies. Therefore, he made the first priority freeing the two Academy Students. The problem occurred in that they needed to free and defend at the same time.
There were several options, most of which were immediately eliminated. If both stayed to defend, they would get defeated. If they both attacked, they would get defeated. If one attacked while one defended, there was a possibility that they would both be defeated. Was there a 'right' choice? No. However, there was a smart choice.
Takahashi: (Well... they took the advantage when they surprised attacked us and overwhelmed us because of the distraction. They gained the advantage but they lost their... well dignity. I know that in order to win, we have to lose as well.)
Suddenly, a single word flashed through the already racing mind of Takahashi. SACRIFICE. That was the key in this situation... when the opponent attained the flag, they had to bring it back to their side of the base in order to win the game. If Takahashi could save the rest of his team while losing the flag to the opponent and stealing it back before the opponents could bring it back to their own base while possessing the flag. Maybe... just maybe...
Takahashi: Hey, Ramen... come here. Alright, change of plans. You're going to have to sacrifice yourself... sorry. This is the plan. You stay here and guard the base. Aim for the academy students as they are the only ones who can lay their hands on the flag. Meanwhile, that'll buy me time to save the rest of our team, steal their flag, and it will be anybodies game.
Ramen nodded curtly, as if he were accepting a suicide mission. Essentially, he was... in the game. This was what it takes to win a game... you always have to give up something. To win a fight, you give up blood... sometimes, to win, you give up something as simple and menial - to some people - time. Regardless, it was all giving up something - giving up the opportunity cost. Ramen took up a defensive stance as Takahashi looked across the field. The smoke had diffused into the air, the genin gazing at the other team, perfectly visible. They were talking to one another, obviously formatting a plan. Too bad Takahashi already made his.
Takahashi: Alright. READY, SET, GO!
Suddenly, with a wild yell that startled the opponent team, Takahashi moved forward with speed and power towards the opponent base. Jimmy, upon seeing him charging, shouted last-minute plans and faced him, revealing two nun-chucks underneath his baggy T-Shirt. The academy students went around Takahashi and began charging towards his side of the field where Ramen awaited. In order for the red-eyed Ketsueki Clan Member's grand plan to work, he had to be able to escape Jimmy or subdue him and successfully reach the opponent's base. IT would be a difficult task, considering that their base was plagued with large pits.
Jimmy knelt in a ready position and with a wild lash of chakra, swung the nun-chucks at incredible speeds at Takahashi. The boy spun backwards, jumping away just in time and drawing his katana. Suddenly, as Jimmy began coming at him again, the boy began gathering chakra, diffusing it throughout his katana. Then, swinging it at an incredible speed, a windstorm occurred: not strong enough to hurt him much, but strong enough to throw him into one of the pits.
CUTTING WHIRLWIND TECHNIQUE
Indeed, Jimmy's robes were ripped and he fell into the hole. Triumphantly, the genin sped towards the opponent prison where TenEleven and Shiji were waiting anxiously. As he approached, the boy stumbled on something and tripped - seeing a thin trip-wire tied on the ground right around the opponent prison. Tripping on that booby-trap, the boy fell into one of the pits and in desperation, kicked and punched the ground. Suddenly, the sun was blocked out as a shadow covered the pit.
Jimmy

Takahashi: (Goddamn...)
The boy had got out of the hole and was now standing over him, looming like a giant. The scroll had said that anyone could be captured, genin included. He had to resist capture and battle his opponent. However, that wouldn't be a simple matter if he was stuck in a pit with the opponent over him. With a closer glance, and to his disgust, Jimmy was holding a kunai in his hands, taking a position of attack. If he threw it, the Takahashi would roll up in a ball and just hope. If he jumped in for a catfight, then Jimmy would be at a complete advantage with a weapon and there would be almost no chance he'd win.
Again, his main goal was to save the prisoners before the two stripper students - John and Jones - came back with Takahashi's flag. He hoped Ramen could hold them off in time. The red-eyed genin kneeled into a crouching position and as Jimmy leaped down, Takahashi leaped up. He jumped right passed Jimmy and landed on the ground above. Now, the adversary was the one who was in the pit, shouting curses. The boy just smiled, turned, and freed his team with a single tag. Shiji and TenEleven ran wild. First, TenEleven grabbed the flag and put it in her backpack while Shiji began calling forth several bugs.
Suddenly, in the distance, Takahashi saw Ramen running towards him, chased by the two adversary academy students, one of them with teh flag. At least Ramen resisted capture.
Takahashi: TenEleven... start running back towards our base while I try to steal this guy's flag.
TenEleven complied as Takahashi jumped towards the two incoming opponents, Shiji right on his tail with buzzing bugs flying viciously around him. Immediately, Shiji got into a confrontation with John while Jones - the one holding the flag - was stuck with Takahashi who had already drawn his katana. Jones looked quite frightened and suddenly, the red-eyed genin pounced, his blade shining arrogantly in the light, ready to quench its thirst. However, something stopped him... something halted his momentum, leaving him struggling on the ground. And even then, that something didn't mitigate.
ARRRRRRRGGGGGG!
Pain exploded in his right shoulder and he shuddered as something sharp clamped onto the boy. The excruciating pain was comparable to a knife as it dug deeper and deeper. Takahashi wriggled in pain, getting a glimps at what had assailed him. Groveling on the ground, right in front of Taka's eyes, dirt covering his body and venom in his eyes, was Jimmy using BITING him. He had scrabbled out of the pit so fast that he didn't have time to use a weapon and relied on his teeth!
Takahashi: URRGG!!! GET OFF ME
Suddenly, another pair of teeth bit him.... to his astonishment, it was that stripper, Jones! With two sets of teeth clamped deeply into his skin, the boy felt numb with pain and he could feel the faint trickle of blood. It was a grueling ordeal but he got up and was able to walk, step by step, towards their base, where TenEleven had already scored. Suddenly, he grinned...
They had fell into a pit.

It was an accident... it really was. Takahashi didn't want to be pretentious and claim the credit. It gave him great satisfaction to know that the opponent's trap had just been used against them. Digging up those ditches were a double-edged blade. Now, the other edge had struck back. The genin, now free from the biters, ran back to their base where TenEleven had already scored. They were victorious! Triumphantly, Takahashi walked towards their side of the base with utmost pomposity... his nose high and shoulders tensed.
However... something was wrong. TenEleven wasn't smiling and instead, she was looking astonished. Suddenly, Takahashi swiveled around only to be met with a large punch to the face. The boy, spitting, fell to the floor and was stepped upon by someone...
Takahashi: (How could I have forgotten! James escaped from the prison when John and Jones stole the flag!)
The boy was relentless... even looked relentless. His eyes were ablaze as he punched Takahashi's face, jaw, stomach, neck, groin, and legs. It was quite a disturbing and painful experience... When all this was over, the boy turned to escort Takahashi back to their prison. He looked back and saw that Jimmy was helping Jones out of the pit! Looking back, he saw Shiji escorting John back to their base. Suddenly, that sparked an idea... he wasn't in prison yet.
Takahashi: HEYA! YO SHIJI! USE YOUR BUGS TO SWARM THOSE TWO... MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GET BACK TO THEIR BASE WITH OUR FLAG THEN COME AND TAG ME!
Shiji complied and soon Kikai were swarming and sucking at the very bodies of Jones and Jimmy... Jones was screaming with disgust while Jimmy sat still, waiting for something. Takahashi took the opportunity to speed away, past James, and into their prison. Shiji was right behind and tagged him... Immediately, the genin escaped to see...
GREAT FIREBALL JUTSU!
The Kikai dispersed and many were shriveled with the flames. Takahashi jumped into the air and suddenly...
GREAT FIREBALL JUTSU
CUTTING WHIRLWIND TECHNIQUE
A great explosion occurred with a clear victor. They both knew who would win... it was obviously Jimmy because, like every academy student knew, Fire was greater than Wind in the chakra cycle. The fire blew right passed the wind but Takahashi was ready. He jumped out of the way with relative ease, though the tip of his robe was scorched. Then, coming from the side, the boy faked a punch, Jimmy shrinking back, and was about to snatch the flag from the opponent's hands when he remembered that he couldn't hold the flag.
Ramen: HAHAHA!!!!
Who would've guessed!? Ramen, coming from no where, stole the flag from Jimmy's hands and started to run. Jimmy, getting ready to chase, was suddenly stopped by something. He was gaping at the direction of the field.
STREAKERS!
SHIJI AND TENELEVEN were running at top speeds, with kunai in their hands, NAKED! Takahashi just grinned... this sooo wasn't their personality. Then, the boy bent down to the stunned Jimmy and gave him a big large ...
BITE!
Takhaashi: (Well... kids will be kids... sometimes even strippers.)
