The Rengai Clan (Katon)

History: The Rengai Clan is split into two branches, one being a Katon using clan, and another being Hoton. It is said by the clan elders long ago when Konoha was being brought up under the First Hokage, that two brothers from the same clan had come to the village outskirts. They both fell in-love with the same girl and thus had children. Both children with the same mother. Each of the brothers were enraged as they learned of this, and decided to fight it out. Who ever would win, would be the husband of the woman. As the battle was about to commense, Kinji Rengai stood on a Volcanic Mountain, as his brother Siki stood on the Great Ocean. The story is told with different endings depending on which branch you were born into. Some say they both died. The truth is still undiscovered but in honor of the two brothers, the resting places of the clan lie where there battle had taken place.

The Katon users' mansion lies on the side of the Volcano, while the other clan rests on an island on the ocean.

While the members of Doragon Houka were normally peaceful some time ago they received word from the first hokage that to live in the fire country like they wanted, they must help Konoha. The Doragon Houka members agreed and set up a headquarters in Konoha where they are fully recognized citizens.
