Heres a place that can help you out if u have a router/firewall that is making you end up with around 10-20kb/sec. If you fix the problem you can get 100 kb/sec. I cant figure out mine because i have a D-link DI-704 router that has the firewall inside it or something. So i'm just wanting to help you people out. Heres the link: http://server-nexus.com/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=31

I'm at Korea right now, but when I get home I'll definately try this. Hopefully it might even fix my bittorrent's inablility to connect!

But I usually get 3 kb/s or less...

Or... you don't even need that. Just increase your upload speed. I used to keep it at 1kb/s max, and got high speeds when a lot of seeds were connected, but then I used a torrent manager (g3 torrent or something like that) and it forced me to use at least 5kb/s max upload and i noticed significant results. and NO i don't limit upload because I am mean. It's because I get very little upload bandwidth and it's bad enough my brother plays all kinds of online games... if I seeded torrents a lot I would easily run out in a week or 2... and get the rest of my family mad at me.
