Sfx: A door slams shut; a small sliding block is opened.

The light from the opening shined in. It reveiled a boy's brown hair amongst his surrounding darkness.

???: "Looks like you've passed the Academy, perhaps you may be of some use. Your dinner will arrive at the same time as always, extra rations however."

Sfx: The sliding block shut and a pair of footsteps where heard walking away.

The boy stood up off of the floor that he was thrown onto a few momments ago. He brushed off some dirt and walked over to a table. The darkness made it difficult to see, almost impossible. But the boy turned on a light that manifested the rest of the room.

Wa: "Chocz tu, Zhou"

Out of a still dark corner of the room, a black cat approached the boy. The cat leaped up onto his lap as the boy took out a book. He began reading it and stroking the cat's short fur. The cat meowed once and only once.

The boy read till it was dinner time. Once it was, a knock on the door was heard. The boy put the book back and sent the cat off into the corner. He walked over to the door and it opened in front of him. A very large man was standing there with a plate that contained two chicken breasts, two spoonfuls of mashed potatoes and two biscuits rather than one. He was also holding a small can with a picture of a very conceded looking cat. The man handed Wa the food and he slammed the door shut.

Zhou meowed as he saw it was feeding time. Wa placed his plate down onto his desk and opened the can for his pet. Then, as he placed it onto the floor, he watched the cat eat it, with fascination. He didn't even look at his own meal until the cat was finished.

As the cat licked the last fragment of tuna off of the tin can and walked away, it was Wa's turn to eat. He took into consideration that he was getting double rations, which rarley happens, so he took caution to not waste any of it. He ate and thought what he was supposed to, that he deserved it. But it mattered not for it'd be gone soon and he wouldn't see this amount of food in a long time. All he could hope for is to break free. He thought to himself, I want to break free.

As he finished his food, he realized that his cat had taken his short trip outside once again. You see, Zhou has a few times during the day where he leaves the room via a small hole big enough for a cat his size and returns shortly.

Wa was alone now. He was aware that the desolance was killing him. He had no one at all. Even his sensei wasn't his companion. He was a bad man. Wa clenched his fist as he thought of this man and soon changed the topic in his mind.

He slowley turned off the light and crawled into his bed for there was nothing more to do. He took a deep sigh and looked back at the day. He had finished the academy that day so he had much to think about.

Wa: "Hmm...that...that guy. Was he my friend-"

Just as he said this, he felt someone crawling into his bed. He leaped up onto it and then laid down in a ball besides Wa's feet.

Wa: "Night Zhou..."

His only companion meowed back. The two fell into sleep very soon.

Day 1

Wa awoke to the sound of a door opening. However, he didn't look over. He simply spoke from his bed position.

???: "Wa get up. It's time for your first day of training. We expect to see you in the main room in ten minutes."

As the door slammed shut. Wa carefully removed himself from his bed so that Zhou would be able to keep a peaceful sleep. He used his next ten minutes to change into his clothing and brush his teeth. He took his katana and headed for the main room. He mustn't be late, he recalls what happned last time..

~Flashback~

A door was slammed shut. It seemed no different from his room but it was, somehow, worse. It was totaly pitch black, no Zhou by his side and nothing at all. To make it worse, he was kept in a stray jacket.

Wa: "(What could they possibly be doing?)"

???: "Wa, this is punishment for your ill manners."

As soon as he knew it, the floor beneath him dismerssed. He fell into a trap door and at the bottom, nothing but water. He feared this...The water level began rising. It was now at his neck. And soon, it reached his head until it was full. He fell unconcious for he ran out of air. He lost track after that...

~End~

The main room was bright with laughter. He saw the sensei there with another man. They were being served tea by the maid. She was, as usual, wearing a Geisha type clothing style. Wa's sensei was wearing a robe, along with his katana and sandals. The aquaintance wore similar fashion. While the gaurds that Wa's sensei had around the house wore their usual uniforms: All black, mouths covered and weapons visible.

Sensei Han: "-Ah yes, Mr. Chipps, I'd like you to meat my apprentice Wa Kowalski. I took him in from the streets-"

Yes...Wa remembered that. He remembers seeing a light that flashed, it was a man on a horse. The man found Wa and decided to put him under his wing. Unfortunatley, Wa is uncertain is he would've been better off if it hadn't happened.

The aqquaintance expected Wa to bow down to him and greet him properly. Wa was taught this as long as he resided here so he knew what to do. He lowered his head and greeted the man. He dreaded this the most. He felt like a dog. A dog with no freedom, a dog that wished to be liberated from an oppresive master.

Sensei Han: "Very good. Now, as for your first day of training. I have prepared Chris to take you to a feild and train. Follow his orders, Wa."

Wa then thanked his sensei and walked over to one of the gaurds named Chris. He was pretty tall and skinny. He had poofy brown hair, much like Wa but darker and shorter. He had blue eyes and wore the uniform.

Chris: "Come with me."

Wa followed the man outside to the main entrance. They then walked to a feild that Wa had never seen before. In fact, he was rarley outside. This was the first time he was outside for something non academy related.

Wa: "Who was that man?"

Sensei Chris: "That's not your buisiness."

Wa wasn't suprised by the answer, they never told him anything. They barley even told him the story of his parents, which he knew that they knew. All he had left was his memmory of that day, of what happened. But it was a fading memmory; with everyday, he grew less knowledgable of it and it seemed to be more of a dream than reality.

Sfx: Crickets and birds where heard chirping. Other shinobi were heard training and conversing with their senseis.

Wa looked around, he looked for him..to his suprise he didn't find him, nor any other him at all. This, ofcourse, meaning that every other genin there was a girl. He blushed, lightly, but Chris didn't see for he didn't look at him the whole time. He just kept walking, and, eventually, came to a hault.

Chris: "This is a good spot."

Chris started to stretch and instructed Wa to follow. He did it and hesitated to complain. He wanted to learn some jutsus but if he stated his boredom of stretching, perhaps they'd drown him again.

Chris: "Ok, we can begin now. Just perorm all three jutsus. Continuously practice them. I need you to get better at them before we can do anything else."

Wa proceeded. He stood outstreched, focusing inside, and starring at girls from the corner of his eye. He went to his first jutsu, Bushin no Jutsu.

His results produced ten perfect clones. This was his max. He released the jutsu.

Sensei Chris: "Ok, good, now we know your max. Keep going now. Try for more."

Wa went ahead and produced these results:

10-10-10-10-12

He took a breath and and focused up his chakra. That feeling he got before he made twelve, he dwelled into his body for that feeling to ensure the same result.

12-12-12-10-10

He took another breather. Then he did a few stretches to relax his body and went back into it. He wanted 13, at the very least.

12-13-12-10-10

He saw some progress now. But some isn't good enough for the apprentice of a wealthy Aristocrat. He needed to go on to higher numbers. He focused up his chakra and tried a new method of preparing for it by tightening all the muscles in his body.

18

Wa was thrown back, literaly. He didn't think he could do it. This method was far superior to anything he ever tried before. But he was exhausted from this. He kept his arms back, sitting down position and took a rest.

Sensei Chris: "Those results, I want to see more, get up now!"

One of the other genin in the park heard the yelling of Chris and looked over at Wa. Wa jumped to his feet and he tried his new method again.

18-F-F-F-F

He can only do it once, if he tries it more than once, the jutsu fails. Wa now conidered the idea that he might've improved in his old method. So he tried again without tightening his muscles.

15-16-15-15-15

He was becoming a bit more excited since he saw such good improvement. But he was begining to feel tired. So he took a rest. His sensei didn't allow this and threatend him. Once again, this girl heard this and looked over. Wa once again leaped to his feet and went on.

16-16-16-16-16

Wa was becoming more proud of his skills as a ninja. He tried the old method in three more sets of five.

16-16-16-15-16
16-16-15-16-17
15-15-15-16-16

By now, sweat was running down his head all over. His face was turning slowley red and he hyperventilated. He hesitated to sit because he knew he'd get in trouble. So he got back into the jutsu stance.

Sensei Chris: "Good, You're progressing. Now show me those results again!!"

Wa: "(What, but I'll, I-)"

Wa did the new method. His results:

24!

After the jutsu was released he instantaneously passed out. His stunning results caught the attentions of now three girls including the one from before, but he wouldn't know since he was laying on the floor totaly exhausted. The girl gasped as her sensei told her to focus.

Sensei Chris: "*Smirk* This is perfect."

Wa was taken home by Chris and he was put into his bed to sleep. Zhou pondered about the reason for his total lifelessness.

Day 2

Sfx: The wooden door creaked open.

With that said, Chris left the room and allowed Wa to get up. Wa groaned and put his palm to his forehead. He was still soar from yesterday's training. He now shifted his hand down to his side and felt it. He tried to massage the pain away, barley succeeding. He stood to his feet, hissing with his aching body. He looked around his room as he took a few momments to stretch his torso and legs. Then he walked over to his closet and took out his clothing. After putting them on he picked up Zhou and walked to the other side of the room. He opened the door and put Zhou down, allowing him to go to the kitchen to eat some breakfast.

Sensei Chris: "Wa, go finish up your breakfast, today I have aranged for you to train with another shinobi. Here is a letter with his address."

Wa did as he was told.

OoC: Go to Takahashi: Shedding of Blood

Wa came home tired but not of exhaustion like the day before. He walked into his room and found Zhou waiting for him. The cat meowed as he sat down and started off to sleep.

Day 3

The sun hasn't come up yet, but Wa was aboout to.

Sfx: Footsteps nearing; the wooden door creaked open.

Sensei Chris: "Get up, another day of training awaits you. I'll see you in ten minutes."

Wa arose from his bed and pressed his hair down; his hair had stood up as a result of sleeping. He put on his clothing and headed out for the kitchen, but he saw that Zhou beat him to the door.

As Wa watched his cat walk away from him, he was grabbed by the ear and pulled into a room. It was Sensei Han and he had a mean expression on his face.

Wa: "What'd I do?"

Sensei Han: "Listen here, in two days, there'll be someone important coming here. You might have to become very familiar with this person real soon. Since we have no more rooms available, this person'll sleep in your room for the night. If you so much as touch her, let alone upset her, I'll let you out into the streets like a dog. You got it?"

Wa: "That's ridiculous, I don't care about anyone, you know that."

Wa ripped himself away from his top sensei and walked to the kitchen. He saw a plate, that was left out for him, with bacon, an egg and a peice of toast on it; single ration. He lifted the plate and tilted it so that the food would slide over into his hole. He swallowed it all down and wiped his face with his sleeve.

Wa: "I'm ready Sensei Chris."

Sensei Chris: "Good, follow me."

Just as two days before, Wa was taken to a training area filled with other genin. He even took teh same spot and saw some familiar people there. His sensei told him to await his return.

Sensei Chris: "Wa, wait here. I'll return in about five minutes. While I am gone, I want you to do some stretches and go over our previous training together."

Wa: "Yes."

Wa watched his sensei go off, down the hill and over to a store. He must've been getting something for Sensei han or so. Wa wasted no time and started doing some stretches. First he put his legs out, sitting on the floor, and reached for them with his arms. He felt a tingly feeling. He then did a few push-ups and some crunches too. Eventualy he stood up and decided to take a breath, when someone came up to him.

???: "Excuse me."

Wa: "(Who is this?)..."

Wa turned around and it was the girl from the first training day. He was suprised that she was here. He didn't even know who she was or if he had ever seen her before.

???: "Um...my name is Yuna. I saw you pass out the other day. And..um..I was wondering why you listen to such a harsh sensei?"

Wa: "...(I-I can't speak, my throat's flinched...)"

Yuna: "Don't you feel abused?"

Wa: "(Come on, it's gotta come out....Come out already!) Ofcourse I do."

Yuna: "So...why do you take it from him?"

Wa: "I have no other choice..."

???: Yuna! Get back here!"

Yuna: "Oh, my sensei is calling me, sorry but I have to go now."

Sensei Chris: "Slacker!"

Wa was hit by his sensei on the back of the head. He turned back around to the sensei and attempted to compensate.

Wa: "But I-"

Sensei Chris: "Enough...I know that boys'll think of girls eventualy."

Wa: "But she-"

Sensei Chris: "I said enough, it's time to train. I know that you practiced molding chakra yesterday. I want to see you climb that tree by the end of today."

Wa: "What? How...?"

Sensei Chris: "Mold Chakra to your feet and then climb it like that. That is all the help you're getting so ask no more, you're only wasting your time."

Wa sighed as he leaned forward and charged for the tree. As he made it to the base of the tree, he put his right leg onto it's firm wooden trunk. He made it three steps up and fell to his back. He arose and looked back at his sensei. His sensei said nothing and had a blank expression on his face. Wa then stood up and pulled his sleeves to his elbows. He returned to about ten feet away from the tree and charged once again. He failed again, falling to his back.

Wa: "(This is going to be a long day...)

As Wa stood back up, he took a breath of the fresh air in. He looked around. He saw some cute genin girls, including Yuna. Then he saw his sensei face-palming himself and he got back to focusing on climbing wood. His mind focused on the task at hand and he realised that he's been mistaken this whole time. He's supposed to mold Chakra to his feet.

~Flashback~

Sensei Chris: "Mold Chakra to your feet and then climb it like that. That is all the help you're getting so ask no more, you're only wasting your time."

Just then, Wa stopped all of his actions, whether it'd be charging for the tree, preparing to charge for the tree or peeping at girls from the corner of his eyes. He put his hands together and closed his eyes. He focused hard on his chakra. He focused it to his feet as mucha s he could. As his sensei saw this, he sat up for he knew that Wa was near completion of this task, or perhaps he was even proud of his student. Wa then reopened his eyes and focused his sight on the tree. His determined and angry expression added a negative aura to the training area. He screamed as he ran for the tree. He made it to the tree and put his first foot onto the bark. He ran up it for 7 steps without falling. But as he put the 8th down, his chakra ran out and he fell to the floor. He was determined and wasted no time checking for bruises or crying as another boy his age might've donne. He just went back to his spot and focused up his chakra. As soon as Wa thought to be ready, he ran for the tree. The benin came in contact with the bark again and made 8 steps this time. He grinned in accomplishment. Wa returned to the spot swiftly and retried for the tree. This time he made 7.

Sensei Chris: "(What? Even I couldn't make 7 steps the first time I used chakra...)"

Wa continued his climbings in sets of 5 and his results were as followed:

7,7,8,7,7 ~ 8,7,7,8,8 ~ 7, 7, 7, 7, 7 ~ 8, 8, 8, 7, 8

Wa put both of his hands onto his knees and he watched the sweat drop down from his forehead. He hyperventilated to get his energy back.

Sensei Chris: "Wa...you should take a break to-"

Wa: "NO! I'm gonna get it!"

Wa then retried as the other people in the feild starred at the angry shinobi. He set his right foot perpindicular to the ground. He focused his chakra another time and headed straight for the tree. He started to see colors as he made his first two steps on the tree. His sensei watched on with eager eyes as he completed his 8th step. His sensei wondered if he could make the 9th? Wa did make the 9th. he also made the 10th and 11th. He accomplished the goal (OoC: Xbox Acheivement Message Goes Here XD) and made it to the tree's branches. He continued running until he realised that he made it to the top. As soon as he stopped he continued hyperventilating and saw many sweat drops fall down. He grinned in accomplishment and went back to his starting point, where his sensei was now standing. When he reached the floor, his sight included many colors.

Sensei Chris: "You've reached the goal Wa. You may take a rest for now, if that's what you feel necessary."

Wa took this chance to rest by laying on the soft grass and closing his eyes. The shinobi took in many breaths of fresh air and had his eyes remain closed.

~Time Passes (30 minutes)~

Sensei Chris: "Wa, it's time to get up. You're going to go on to your next part."

Wa stood up fully refreshed and noticed that his eyesight was no longer colorful. He was told to stand five feet from his sensei, and did just so.

Sensei Chris: "Ok Wa, we're going to continue what you did yesterday. I want you to fight me with molding your chakra to your fists. I was also told that you used an interesting technique, I'd like to see this done on me."

Wa: "Understood."

His sensei stood signaling Wa with his hands to come at him. Wa charged at his teacher and loaded up chakra into his fist at once. He punched at his sensei's chest. The affect was weak since he didn't take time to focus up chakra but rushed into it; he wasn't experienced enough to do this. As his sensei took the hit like air, he sent some chakra to his knee and sent the limb to his sensei's gut. His sensei took it too.

Sensei Chris: "*Laughs* I've got abs Wa, it'll take more than that."

Wa then flipped backwards and took a knee. He took a few minutes to load up chakra to various parts of his body. He saw his sensei come for him. As his sensei kicked for his head, Wa rolled under the leg that sensei Chris was using and turned around 180 degrees, swinging his leg up along with the turn. He made contact with his sensei's lower back. The sensei was set forward a foot and then stopped. He then turned around 180 degrees so fast that Wa had never seen such speed before. Wa's face was now on the path of his sensei's right fist. Wa stretched his torso out to his leg, which was still in teh air, in order to dodge the fist. It succeeded and his sensei tried to bash Wa's skull with his elbow.

Wa: "(It's time to show him)"

Wa repeated the process that he had performed on Takahashi: He set his foot perpindicular to the ground, combined his forearms, loaded them with chakra and swung them to where the hit was going to come in contact. It succeeded and then some. His sensei leaped back and starred at his student. Then he looked down to his elbow, which was bleeding. Wa starred at his right forearm which too was bleeding.

Sensei Chris: "(That's amazing)..."

Wa: "So sensei, when did you start thinking of girls?"

Sensei Chris: "That matters not...."

Wa: "Are you married?"

Sensei Chris: "I'll answer that question if you show me that technique again."

Wa: "Ok, come at me again."

The sensei focused up some chakra into his leg. He ran for Wa, whom was charging chakra into his forearms since he told his sensei to charge at him. He repeated the steps necessary for his defensive maneuver and took the strike that his mid air sensei gave him. Both were thrown back this time. Wa even spun around 180 degrees. The sensei fell to the floor. He was in less pain. Wa's forearm was now bleeding three times as much as before. The sensei grinned as he rubbed his chin.

Sensei Chris: "That's a good maneuver, you just need to work on your chakra focusing."

Wa: "(Damn that hurt) Understood."

Sensei Chris: "Now as for my promise, my wife is dead, she commit suicide."

Wa's jaw dropped, hypothetically but he kept it in. He, usualy, tried to keep emotions in. He said nothing after his sensei said this and only watched him walk away. He soon too walked away. But after passing the tree, he heard somehting odd.

Sfx: The bushes besides Wa rustled violently and then stopped.

The shinobi looked over to the side and saw nothing...he was too tired to investigate and just walked back home. Before he left the training area, he looked around and, as the sun went down, no one was there. He liked the aura that was here. He then looked bcak to the bushes and pondered. Soon after, he returned to walking.

When he got home, he washed up, bandaged up the cut and was headed off for sleep with Zhou at his feet.

Wa: "(What a wild day...)"

Day 4

Wa awoke to the sound of his cat, Zhou, digging through his closet. He walked over to the cat's position. As he took a knee and gazed upon the mess that Zhou had created he took particular interest amongst a certain item the fell out. It was a really old drawing. It had a boy standing next to another boy. It had two names on top of each of the boys' heads. One of them said Bo Lan. Wa starred at the poorly drawn picture with a blank expression on his face. Just then his sensei came in and he put the picture away.

Sensei Chris: "Ah, you're up early, kitchen, now."

As his sensei left the room, Wa tried to cram his things that fell out back into the closet via the door. He succeeded and proceeded to the kitchen.

As Wa walked to the kitchen, his sensei sneaked up behind him.

Sensei Chris: "Wa, do not turn around, act totaly natural. I have set up a match with your buddy tomorrow. This will anger the head of this household since you were set to meet Mouka at the same time. Quite frankly, I feel a forced marraige is unfair for you and it seems to be where Sensei Han is heading towards. You deserve better than that girl anyway. So today, before we get to training, we'll stop in the shop to buy supplies for your match tomorrow. So bring your wallet."

With that, his sensei disapearered and Wa entered the kitchen wondering since when his sensei cared for him this much. Upon entry, he saw the head of the household eating and gazing at him in such a malicious way that he knew death could be near if he hadn't followed yesterday's instructions. Wa quickly ate his breakfast. However, he noticed there was an extra egg on his plate. The whereabouts of this egg are unknown.

He stood up and followed his sensei out the door, which included a detour to get his wallet.

OoC: This part is in the shop.

Wa strapped on all of his new pouches and projectile holding items as tried to get used to them. He fit the pouch above his rear, storing in it the ten shuriken and three smokebombs, the kunai holster went just below his right knee to the right side and, obviously, contained the ten kunai and he stuffed the canteen, which had the pills and anything left over into a inner pocket of his coat. He then wrapped the bandages around his arms. He would reuses these bandages until they actualy tore. He felt good now that he had many small weapons to his disposal. Once he took his concentration away from the goods he had just purchased and to where he was going, he realised the sensei had already taken him to the feild. It was time to train!

Sensei Chris: "Today we will train your projectile skills, that being Kunai and shuriken. Just allow me to make a target on this tree."

As he said that, the sensei took out an odd looking crayon and drew a target on the tree's bark. He instructed Wa to continuosly throw his new projectiles at it. The genin did just so; he whipped out a fresh kunai and darted it at the target. He made it between the target's center and it's right side. He wasn't all too disapointed nor totaly accomplished with this throw. He decided to continue. He'd throw kunai and shuriken in sets of 3. His results are as follows:

Kunai: L3, L2, L3 - L2, L3, L3 - L3, L3, L3
Shuriken: L2, L2, L2 - L2, L3, L2 - L2, L2, L1

OoC: The target has 3 layers and a center; L = Layer # = the number of the layer hit with 3 being outermost and 1 being innermost layer. C = Center.

Wa took a brief rest; he stood and looked out at the sun. The sky and birds created a harmonous peace around Wa. He looked at the other genin in the feild, they were all working very hard. One of them was taking a break like Wa, one laying in the grass enjoying the calming breeze and the rest were just training. Wa then went back to his training and aimed for the center of the target, which was a bright red.

Kunai: L3, L2, L2, - L3, L2, L2 - L3, L3, L3
Shuriken: L2, L2, L3 - L2, L2, L2 - L1, L2, L2

Wa noticed his improved and felt an incline in motivation. He squinted, leaned in and took a shot at the target with his kunai once more. He made the center. He took out another one and then again made the center. The next two produced the same results and when he concentrated on the center less, which was in three more throws, he made the second layer. He thought hard and came to the conclusion that he wasn't focused this whole time and needs to be as focused as he can be when training. This disapoints him in himself, however, it shows him that he's capable of making the center. He went for a few more sets of each, after recollecting his kunai. He concentrated to his max with each and every throw.

Kunai: L1, L2, L1 - L2, L2, C - C, C, L1
Shuriken: L1, C, C - C, C, C - C, L1, C

The genin liked these results a lot more and he continued to practice for another twenty minutes. Most of his results were either on layer one or in the center. Only three (out of 40) struck layer three and seven got layer two. He looked back at his sensei, whom was gone. He sighed as he returned to recollect his kunai and shuriken. He pondered upon the location of his sensei. As he returned to the throwing distance, ten feet away from the tree, he aimed at the center hoping for the best. Just as the kunai left his hand and he leant in after the throw, he noticed something flew out of the tree and was now standing behind him. He got kicked in the rib by a knee and turned around to block a fist, both loaded with chakra. As the two were set back a foot, three feet for Wa, the young genin was disapointed that it was his sensei.

Wa: "What're you doing sensei?"

Sensei Chris: "This was to test your reflexes. Just a random check up on how sharp they are. I will do this from time to time. You were thrown off gaurd and got hit once. But you were successful in defending against a second blow. It's ok. For now, I shall go wiat in the same spot as before, you may return to your projectile training."

Wa: "(Hmm...)..."

The shinobi looked at the target, the kunai he launched before hit dead center. He was impressed by this. Wa went to retrieve it and returned. Realising that the sun was almost completley down, he took his chance to launch five more kunai and shuriken. The first three kunai made the first layer. The next made dead center and the last made between the center and the first layer, but more near to the first layer. The shuriken went a bit mroe smoothly. First three made center, not dead on center however. While the next two made the first layer. He decided to take his projectiles back and call it a day. He went to follow his sensei, whom was already ten feet ahead of him. Once he caught up with him, his sensei whispered something to him.

Sensei Chris: "Wa, I shall awake you early in the morning tomorrow, I will not allow a forced marraige with you to that girl!"

The sensei was speaking from his own experiences. he once taught that girl. He knows that she's a misbehaving girl and would make Wa's life terrible. He told a story to Wa once of how ill mannered this girl is. He didn't like what he heard. Ofcourse, Wa has never met her so he cannot truely judge her yet. Only time will tell what she's like.

Wa was shocked by his sensei's strong message. Only a few months ago, he was hitting and yelling at Wa, but sensei Chris seems to have become quite fond of his pupil. He wondered why, how and when, but it didn't matter. He was happy that he had someone looking out for him. With that being done, the two went home, ate dinner in silence and took off to sleep, waiting for the next day to come.

Day 5

The wind rustled. Wa was already outside. He heard a car coming to the front of the large home. It was Mouka's car and she will be expecting Wa to greet her. Wa put his hand into his hair. He yawned and looked around. He saw his sensei and he was alerted to take cover from the peoples', in the front of the house, sight. He took a knee next to his sensei. His sensei handed him his equipment and Wa, promplty, put it on. Then his sensei put a hand in front of Wa's chest.

Sensei Chris: "Three...two...one!"

The two of them, synced, ran out from behind the driveway wall and haeded down the road, to the arena Wa was expected to be in, in a matter of minutes. They sped up for they didn't want to get caught and sharply turned to avoid error in directions. As soon as the arena came into view, the sensei looked back at Wa, whom was trailing behind him, and pointed forward.

Sensei Chris: "That is where you have to fight. Go there, Takahashi is waiting for you there. Oh and...good luck."

Wa: "Thank you, sensei."

Within minutes, Takahashi was seen in the arena, awaiting Wa...

OoC: This part is in Arena 5.

Wa walked back home through the night and saw his home on teh horizon. He didn't want to return to his sensei and have to tell him the grim news. But he had no choice. As he walked home. He found his sensei Chris in front of the house, waiting for Wa, alongside Zhou. He felt even worse, now thinking that his sensei purposley waited outside for him and expected to hear something positive. As he approached him, he dared not look his sensei in the eyes. He took his cat and starred at it.

Sensei Chris: "I know that you lost, don't be down. We have a bigger issue."

Wa was a bit suprised by the answer, expecting to be penelized. He looked up at his sensei and asked what was the matter. It seemed as if he knew what was going on because he made an important mistake earlier but forgot about it somehow. He just couldn't put his finger on the mistake.

Sensei Chris: "Mouka was enraged when she found you missing. She told her father that she wouldn't want to be with someone who didn't care enough to greet her. They left and will most likley not speak to us ever again. Master Han threw a fit. He's throwing us out, for the time being, into the small shack in the yard of the home. It has two rooms to sleep in and a bathroom. It'll be our home for the time being...."

Wa was shocked at all that happened and jsut suddenly remembered what he had done that was so wrong. He listened on as his senei continued talking.

Sensei Chris: "...as for your match. Don't take it to the extreme. It's only your first match and the opponent is more experienced as you. You'll jsut have to work real hard to get good and even out the score. Now come, it's time to go to sleep, and your dinner is waiting for you."

Wa followed his sensei into the shack. He had no intentions of thinking of what his Master, Han, was like when he was as angry as he is now. He walked into the shack, via the cringy door and entered it's wooden inside. It wasn't too run down, just old. The inside was almost entirely wooden and it had some form of electricity that was limited to lights. He stepped into his room. It was a bit small and when the door was closed it was pitch black for there were no windows. He gazed upon his bed, small but comfy looking, a small table which held up his plate of food and a small closet for his clothing and equipment. He put Zhou down and began eating the food. His sensei closed the door and the genin finished his food quickly. Then he slowley drifted off to sleep, alongside his cat.

Day 6

Sfx: The sun slowley rose up, and along with it the birds flew about chirping, the bees buzzed all over the yard and the neighbor children were out laughing with each other.

As Wa arose, he clasped his head together. He woke up that morning with a headache from he day before and his cuts felt as if they were burning. He wondered why this happened. Then he heard a footstep into the room and it had manifested itself. He looked up and found Sensei Chris.

Sensei Chris: "Your wounds are burning because they were never treated properly. They are dry now so you'll have to hold the burning out, it should end today. Please eat what has been supplied to you; we were lucky enough to get it. After you are done, meet me in the training feild."

The sensei left the room as the genin's headache cleared up a bit. He then proceeded to looking at his cuts. THey were dry looking and burned tenfold when he touched them. He tried not to mind the burn and even accept it as part of him, for the time being ofcourse. Next he walked from his bed to the table that was inside of his room and sat down to eat breakfast. As he sat down, the old wooden floor creaked beneath his feet and butt. He crossed his legs and began eating the one ration meal. When Wa had finished, he left the plate, just as before, and he left the shack. While outside, he took in the sun and wondered what there was to train on this day. He stretched out his arms and headed out into the street. He ran through them, seeing a few familiar faces and a lot of new ones. Although he had taken this route many time with sensei before, he hasn't relaly had the chance to meet the people they saw along the way.

As he begen to see the feild from afar, he sped up by a bit in determination. He wanted to be able to erase the loss from his record, from history, from his mind. But that couldn't be granted. So he knew that he had to train as hard as he could to overcome his opponent's skill in the next time they fought. Wa was now at the entrance of the feild, he saw his sensei there waiting for him. As he walked over to him he saw him standing alongside another man and a girl. She was a genin that he had seen in this feild before.

Sensei Chris: "Wa, you made it in time. Are you ready to train?"

Wa: "Yes..."

Sensei Chris: "Good, you'll be training with this girl today, her name is Carla. The two of you will be practicing dodging and aiming projectiles."

The other sensei began instructing us.

Sensei Gin: "Well put brother Chris..."

Wa was thrown back, hypothetically. Was this man really Sensei Chris' brother? He doubted it since he didn't resemble sensei Chris and the sensei never talked about his family other than the time that he mentioned his dead wife. He resumed to the other sensei's instruction.

Sensei Gin: "The rules are simple. One of you will be in the tree while the other is on the ground. The one in the tree must launch projectiles at the one on the ground in order to make a hit. The one on the ground must dodge them to the best of his or her ability. You two will switch after a series of twenty five launches."

Sensei Chris: "Now for the momment get to know each other briefly and proceed to training. Wa will be first in the tree."

The two sensei's turned around and started talking to each other about random topics. The girl that Wa was to train with today was named Carla. She had long brown hair that was tied in a pony tail and wore a pink shirt with black pants. She had the look of a ninja with many pouches and packs holding weapons. She carried with her a large Zanbato and had an elaborate, Wa thought, chain on her pants that connected to her brown overcoat. She seemed like a nice girl but Wa couldn't tell her personality just from looks. Although he didn't want to talk with her, he had to do so. She walked up to him smiling.

Carla: "Hi I'm Carla."

As soon as she finished the last word in her sentence, Wa leaped into the tree's bark and started climbing it. She seemed mad about him just leaving her like that but Wa couldn't talk to her. He is bad at socializing so he keeps conversations breif, or in this case, non existant. He looked at her from behind the tree's leaves, he regrets not saying anything and just leaving now but it's too late. He awaits her to stand in her spot and ready herself. After seeing her concentrating and then looking up into the tree. He fired three kunai at her. One went from the right at her left breast, one went from the middle at her left ankle and one went from the left at her nose. They went in that order and had a one second pause between each. After she dodged them. He threw his remaining shuriken and kunai at her, till he reached twenty. He had to, at one point, come down and retrieve a few. Not even looking at her while doing so. It was now his turn to dodge the projectiles. He switched places with the girl. She seemed sad so she might take her frustrations out on him with her sharp kunai. After dropping his coat onto the floor, he got into position, ten feet away from the tree.

Wa: "Let's see what I can do here."

Wa closed his eyes and tried to focus entirley on his body and the oncoming object. He began to feel it; to sense it, the projectile that is. The kunai was a foot away from him now, he knew it. He swiftly moved to the right. He was sliced in the tip of his right shoulder. His shirt ripped and a bit of blood flew out from under his skin. He stepped back and grunted as he placed his hand onto his skin. He was off and therefore not ready to do this yet. For now he would try to sense the kunai's presence with eyes open. For the next one that came at him, he did just so. He heard the girl throw it at him and he attempted to sense its presence. He couldn't sense much but was able to dodge by simply moving to the right. He felt unaccomplished by what he sensed and he prepared for the next one; again he left his eyes open and attempted to sense the presence of the kunai, without reffering to sight. This time was a bit better. He felt it moving at him in the air, but only as it neared him, from about 5 feet ahead. He stepped to the left but before he commenced the movement he looked straight at the floor with confidence. His confidence payed off for he was able to calculate how far off he needed to move to dodge the projectile. Although the kunai did come within an inch of his right bicep, he saw this as a success. With the next one he tried to feel a disturbance in the air. That disturbance being the kunai ofcourse. Wa found nothing. But once again as the kunai neared 5 feet of him, he could sense its presence. The genin took another simple step to the side to dodge it. The next three had the same results. He was disapointed and was clueless. He was walking down a road with no signs of direction or location. He pushed on and noticed that the girl threw three kunai at him at once. He put his hands together (OoC: Not a handsign) and focused on locating the kunais' presence. He felt them moving through the air from about ten feet away. He didn't have time to ponder on his success so he closed his eyes and awaited the right time to make a move. Once the three kunai neared his chest, right arm and head, from about three feet ahead, he initiated a powerful leap upwards, in which halfway through he sucked up his knees till they made contact with his chin. He held perfect balance in the air, keeping both arms out in wingspan and he slowley felt his body moving down as he sensed the three kunai passing below him like cars under an overpass.

Wa fell to his feet and wobbled a little after his feet reached the floor. But he fell not and he didn't get stricken, the most important part of the situation. There, however, was no time to celebrate, as he took a single breath, three more were heading at him. He took a moment to think and decided to repeat his previous maneuver. He waited till he felt the presence of the kunais and then closed his eyes, afterwards deciding to leap up, much like last time, to pass the kunai triplet smoothly. He had taken some damage this time. His leg got a 4 inch cut and his pants were torn alongside with the blood coming out. He had noticed that she aimed the third kunai slightly higher, to make it harder for Wa to dodge. He took a knee and began the pat the blood. He looked up and told her to wait a minute, as he looked back at his leg, then he heard three more kunai being thrown. Either she hadn't heard him or she was trying to hurt him. The shinobi had no time to decifer the answer so he swiftly waited to sense the kunais' presence and repeat the previous two processes. As he leaped up, he was a bit late and he came deathly close to being hit. His scapegoat was being on the floor; Carla aimed a lot lower because he was on one knee.

Wa: "(What's with her?)"

The Genin heard three more being launched at him. As he heard them, he closed his eyes instantly. He thought he was ready this time. He put his hands together and concentrated real hard on his surroundings and, specifically, on the kunai. A drop of sweat ran down his right temple, then another and a third on the opposite side. Wa could feel his heart beating and the nervousness was getting to him. His pulse rang louder and louder as the kunais gained in on him. He lost them! He lost his sense of where hte kunai had been. Where did they go? He felt them about seven feet away and then they disapeared. And in the next second, they reappeared into his sense, even closer. They were now directly in front of his body, aimed for his torso, top, left and bottom, four feet ahead. He instinctivley jumped up with all his might. He felt the air pass through his hair and he felt a vigorous wind under the soles of his shoes. It rushed by and he fell back to the ground on two feet. As soon as he landed, he opened his eyes and released the grip on his hand, revealing the sweat that built up inside of the ball. He looked back and saw all three in the ground. Wa inspected them quickly and realized they went in deeper than any of the other kunai thrown at him.

Wa: "(I...I-I think she's trying to kill me...)"

The genin returned his view the the girl in the tree, although he didn't see the girl and he removed his forhead protecter, wiping away the sweat from his forehead. He tightyl wrapped it back around his skull and became focuse donce again. He starred directly at the tree. Then closed his eyes.

Wa: "(...)...whenever you're ready..."

Was was becoming impatient. His nervousness inclined a bit as he awaited an attack. He heard it being thrown, the kunai. But, somehting was off. It didn't feel right. It felt as a greater presence than before or any other time. And it was going fast on him. He couldn't tell why. But then as the group came within seven feet of him, he realized that she threw not three, but five kunai at once. He was panicing inside but couldn't show it. this was a challenge that he hadn't seen before and he had met for the first time. This was his chance to beat this challenge, pass this hurdle, gain this acheivement. He grinded his teeth as he removed three kunai from his holster. He concentrated on the kunai, which disapeared now, once again, and then reappeared, as before, four feet away. He threw all three kunai at what he had thought to be the location of the kunai (OoC: He did this because two kunai were in back while three were in front) and, closley following the same motion, he leaped up once again. This time he did a back flip where he stayed parallel with the floor in mid air for aslong as he could, to let the kunai pass him. The results were that he managed to strike one of the front kunai and the two in the back cleanly enough to toss them off their paths and in some foreighn direction, leading to a slow downfall. Then, he was able to surpass the two remaining kunai with ease. The back flip was a different story; He never completed the full rotation and landed on his back. Exhausted now, he took a breif momment of rest. He knew that her shift was over since she launched twenty five kunais at him.

As wa stood up, he noticed that an hour had passed and that it was time to eat lunch. The four of them, Carla, him and the two senseis went to the side of the feild, where a green hill was and took a lunch break. Sensei Chris had brought him and Wa four rice balls, ten fried dumplings and a drink for each of them. The other two had their own combination of food and the sensei complimented his apprentice that she had cooked the food herself. Sensei Chris smiled as he took a bite of the rice ball he was holding. THe lunch break lasted about an hour since the two sensei's hadn't seen each other in a long time and they wanted to talk for a while. After the two genin were finished, they were told to go continue there training. Wa and Carla stood up. He walked towards the tree and starred at the field and other ninjas in the feild. then he took a look at Carla, whom, upon eye contact, shifted her body to the opposite side. He returned to looking at the tree, which was now within arm's range, not even noticing Carla's upset mood over his ignorance. He climbed up into the three and positioned himself so that Carla wouldn't be able to see him. He decided to shift his position before every throw.

OoC: This part isn't really necessary...

His turn to throw was up and he was now on his way to the position where he'd be baraged with projectiles. He exhaled once and then another time. Then he took a concentrated stance and prepared for the oncoming kunai. He heard one being launched, while closing his eyes. One was harder to sense for it gave off a slighter presence then three or so. He worried about this one but decided to gamble it out. The kunai disapeared from his sense and he started to worry. He then felt it come back into his sense, but too late to leap. It was two feet ahead so he whipped out a kunai and held it point facing up, in the position that he expected to utilize the task at hand, eliminating the lone kunai. He felt it strike the kunai he was holding and the shock was so powerful compared to what he sensed that he was able to tell exactly where the kunai had hit and predict where it would go now. It hit the exact edge, then flipp to its side, striking the middle of Wa's kunai, hence ricocheting off to the left, spinning about. That was a close one, a bit more to the right and he'd been hit. He exhaled once again and he took the next three, one at a time. With these, he attempted to throw the kunai at them from afar, where he sensed them immediatley. The first two times the kunai was succesfull, but the third was bad, he even heard his own kunai strike the tree. He repeated the first maneuver to prevent it from making contact. It worked better this time and he managed to send it flying off in the totaly opposite direction. He heard two being thrown, he smiled for they'd be easier to dodge. And they were; he chucked a kunai at them and managed to knock them both off, with his eyes closed, from afar. He opened his eyes and collected the kunai he threw. Returning to his spot, he heard four being thrown. He threw both of his kunai from afar and managed to get three, but he had one remaining. It was heading for him and he felt it coming, but it disappeared and reappeared like last time. He was caught off gaurd this time and had to resort to leaping up just in time, however it wasn't just in time. He was hit in his right shoe. The kunai went in and came within centimeters of Wa's big toe. As Wa landed, he removed the kunai and threw it to the floor.

The next barage of kunai was sent to him at a spread out rate. Four kunais at two seconds apart. He felt them all coming for his face and no where else. The sharp blades all heading for his face, of which eyes were closed. He concentrated. It was tough since he couldn't sense it clearly, at all. There was a very distorted sense of his surroundings. He felt four different kunais coming from the same direction but couldn't tell them apart or couldn't predict the time of their impacts. For this, he shifted his head down and ran forward, under the kunais. He was able to sense them while he was under them, with about as half distorion as previously sensed. As soon as he felt the kunai threat passed, he stood up and opened his eyes. He realised that he stopped right before the tree, saving his head. He swiftly ran back to the spot and faced the same threat; four consecutive kunais from the same origin and aimed at his face. He repeated his previous actions and manuevered his way past them. Carla was getting repetive for she repeated it once again. Now Wa was pissed so he took out his katana and hit them all, eliminating each one. He put his katana away and then closed his eyes, awaiting another barage of kunais. He was a bit more disturbed this time around. Carla threw three and then, two seconds later, the last four. He was able to sense them all, but with some distortion that confused him whether or not they were next to each other or apart by a bit. As they disappeared on the 7 feet mark, Wa was given a gift. The disappearing process helped him realise that they were seperated by about two seconds for the brigade halved in size, then totaly disapeared and then reappeared four feet ahead, but half. He put logic to use, telling him that two seconds were the seperating time between two groupd of kunai headed for his throat and chest. As soon as the first half reappeared, he leaped up, successfully dodging the first three in a breeze and then he landed down. As he did, he felt the last four reappear into his mind and he elaboratley landed on the floor, having both his feet and hands touching the floor and his head slightly ducked. He then felt a swift wind passing above him, being the wave of kunai, that rustled his hair a bit from the ferociousness of the kunais. Once he opened his eyes, he saw Carla in front of the tree with her arms at her hips and an upset grin on her face. She was mad and refused to look at Wa. She walked passed him and collected the kunai. Wa did the same for the few that he had thrown. As the two searched for their kunai, their senseis returned, laughing. As soon as they came to a halt, they took on a serious face.

Sensei Chris: "We have seen your work and judged your results. We feel both of you have done enough of the projectile dodging training. We will move on to the final phase. The two of you will try to walk on a pond over by that house...."

Sensei Gin: "...yes and to make it more interesting, the two of you will race, go."

As he said that, both Sensei Chris and Gin disappeared into a poof of smoke. Wa assumed that both were some sort of clones. As he let his mind wander in what just happened, he saw the behind of a determined Carla. She was already ahead of him by ten feet. He then snapped out of his day dream and ran after her, and after the pond. He was only able to gain in about two feet on her.

Wa: "(Damn she's fast...I hope there's no punishment for losing)..."

As Wa ran through the path that led to the pond, the pond itself came into view to the left of a house. He was near his defeat and he needed something quick. He looked over and saw something directly ahead of him; there was a narrow passage between the house and one directly adjacent it. It was narrow enough for him to fit through and it would save him about twenty feet. In addition, he saw the pond on the other side of the secret passage. He went for it...

*Carla's P.O.V."

Carla: "(Hah, I'm going to win. I'll show him what a girl can do!)"

Carla sped on the red dirt path and through it's sharp left turn. She almost fell but rebalanced her weight by touched the path with her two finger tips of her left hand. She saw the Pond.

Carla: "(Yes! Victory is mine!...)"

As she began to rejoice, she tasted the smell of victory and was prepared for her sensei's warm congratulation. She came within three feet of the pond. She jumped up and down, excitidley. But suddenly she heard a sound.

Sfx: Zip; Bushes rustling

*General P.O.V. ; Wa's P.O.V.*

Wa walked out from behind the bush and saw Carla standing there with a beat up expression on her face. He exhaled in pleasure.

Wa: "Wow, I needed that."

Then the two sensei's came out and announced that Wa snaked his way to the finish line, hence him being the winner. Carla began crying and stomping around in her own little childish tantraum. Wa then walked up to the two senseis.

Wa: "So is there any punishment for the loser?"

Sensei Gin: "Well if you would've lost then yes, but since she's a girl she doesn't have to do the punishment, which was to clean the male bathroom of a restaurant."

Carla began to laugh histerically and stuck her tounge out at Wa. Wa felt cheated but he didn't mindd, he won and that was that.

Sensei Chris: "Now now kids, let's not get distracted form your true objective. I want the two of you to try to walk across that pond."

OoC: The pond is about 12 feet in diameter.

The two genin went right to work. They ran for the pond, starring each other off, initiating a challenge. When they came to the edge of the pond, they both fell directly into the water. They came back out. Wa stopped to stare at the pond as Carla continuously ran at it. She continued to fall in and swear in anger. She did it about four times before Wa realized it, the answer; Wa looked to a tree and the lightbulb above his head illuminated. After questioning the existance of such a lightbulb, he walked to the edge of the pond, he starred at the setting sun and closed his eyes. He went into a focusing stance, with his head bowed slightly and hands together. After about two minutes of standing there. He was ready to move; the Genin took a step forward and onto the pond. He didn't fall in, he jsut walked on water. However, he was very unstable; Wa kept slipping and he was very shakey in walking across the pond. When he was about four or five feet in, his focus gave in and he fell into the water. Returning, he saw Carla, whom was crying again and envious at her "training buddy's" acheivement. She stomped around and attempted to run across it again. She too realized, then, that it was hopeless so she stopped. She sat on teh edge of the pond as steam emmited from her ear holes. (OoC: Metaphor...)

Half an hour passed and Carla had gotten nothing done and Wa was almost ot the other end; the genin was only three feet away. Then as he made his latest trek to the other side, his sensei intervened; he popped up unexpectedly in front of him and whispered something to him. As Wa fell in he slowley made his way out, murmuring curses under his breath. As he walked out of the water, he headed not for the edge of the pond, but for Carla. He stood above her, dripping and offered her his hand.

Wa: "I'm Wa, I'm her to help you...(..this is lame)"

Carla slapped his hand out of the way and turned around. He looked at his sensei and signaled for an end to this attempt to aid Carla, but his sensei told him in that whisper that as her training commrade, he must work with her and help her to succeed. Saying nothing, the sensei began to talk with the Carla's sensei. Wa thought of what to do, then he put his hand down. He moved it slowley so that she wouldn't notice. He was getting closer, and further down, closer to her waist. He was inches away from her hip when he did it: Wa stole one of Carla's kunai. She was inffuriated and ran after him. He walked onto the pond and stood there, wobbling a lot. He stood in the middle and told her to listen to him if she wanted it back. She tried to go after him and fell into the water, causing a wave, which made Wa wobble more. he almost fell in but he kept his cool and tried his best to stay stable above the water's surface. After retaining his balance she agreed to listen to him if he promised to give it back. he did jsut so, knowing that the chakra molded to his feet was running low. He instructed her to mold chakra to her feet. She apparentley had done it with trees before and didn't get very far. This time, she had Wa to help. Wa told her to keep her cool and even offered her his hand. He felt odd about it but it was inevitable, his sensei told him that if he didn't help her with this then he'd fail training and that if he failed this specific training, he'd be forced to stare at the seat of many toilets with a toothbrush in one hand and a hand towel in the other, for a whole day. He shrugged at the thought and overcame his embarassment to hold her hand. As she held his hand, she put a foot onto the pond, then the other. She got excited and lost focus, causing her to wobble much much more. As this happened, she fell onto Wa and the two fell into the pond, her head on his chest. The two walked out as soon as possible and were freaked out. Wa felt his heart beating and blushed without knowing it. Carla was grossed out at the thought of touching Wa so closley. The two senseis came in and laughed. They told them that they had done well and the training day was over.

As the two groups were about to depart and head home, Wa looked at Carla and then turned away, so did Carla. He showed no emotions however. Walking away he thought about the training day and all that has heppened in it. Then he got his sensei's attention and told him something.

Wa: "Sensei...that girl, Carla....she's a crazy bitch."

As Wa sped up and walked a foot ahead, his sensei laughed until he had reached tears. He laughed about the comment for the rest of the trip home, where the two went to sleep in there respective rooms.

Hey goodjob Nanashi, well written.

1XP, water walking learned, and improved agility and speed I suppose lol. (It would be nice to put in OOC at the end what you are training when it isn't completely obvious what you want to improve).

I enjoyed the rivalry motif, it was very Sasuke/Naruto-esque.

Day 7

Wa awoke that morning with the same feeling he had in his stomach the morning of his match against Takahashi. He felt empty inside and as if he were to vomit soon. It was bad and he didn't understand it. Nothing out of the ordinary was to happen today so where was the issue? He spent the next five minutes petting his cat for comfort; Zhou's presence eased the pain a bit.

Sfx: A door opens.

Sensei Chris: "Wa, you will fight another shinobi today, be ready and head off, I'm on a mission for today, good luck."

As his sensei left the room, then the home, Wa understood what was the problem, he had a match today. To add to his nerves, it was against an unknown opponent. Prior to this fight, Wa had trained alongside his opponent, beforehand. This time was different; the genin didn't know what to expect. So he stood up, out of bed and headed for his clothing. then he ate breakfast and brought his equipment with him. He ran for the arena he was told to go to. The feeling shifting in velocity; it was now less of physical pain and more of mental pain, or rather, nervousness...

OoC: Go to Arena 3; Match against DC

Sfx: The crickets chirp as the night fall has taken its place many hours ago.

It is an undetectable time now; Wa heads through the road, hand on rib, blood starting to seep through the bandage. The disapointment on his face is hard to miss as he final reaches the front lawn of the house. He goes through the side gate and slowley makes his way to the small 'hut' that him and his sensei have to call home for now. He opens the door and walks in, letting it close itself. The shinobi falls but catches himself by placing his free hand onto the table. He grunts and bites his teeth as the pain becoms unbearable, and soon disappears due to the blood he has lost. He becomes faint and finds no help in the dark and desolate home. He falls to the floor into a sitting position and lets his head hang low. He waits in the dark. Several minutes pass, then an hour, of him trying to make his way to his feet. But he cannot accomplish this task. His body has become too weak.

Sfx: The door creaks open.

A tall figure stands in a shadow as the light makes its way into the home. Wa recognizes the man and then droops his head once again in shame.

Sensei Chris: "So you lost again?"

The man sighed and walked over to the cabinet. He opened it and stuck his hand into it, taking out a few items.

Sensei Chris: "Use these."

The sensei gave Wa the items while helping him up. Wa dusted himself off and accepted the items. He was given a bottle of alcohol for the wound and a new stronger bandage wrap. He, with the help of his sensei, made his way to the bathroom. The sensei left to change as the dirty bandage was now being taken off by the young genin. He leaned on the wall and threw the bandage into the garbage can. Now he took some paper ans drenched the segments with the alcohol. He slowly placed the paper onto his wound and rubbed it, hissing ocassionally in the process. As the blood on his flesh began to disapear and the naked wound manifested itself, he pressed the paper roughly onto the wound to really clean it out. He felt beyond his flesh, he now knew what the inside of him felt like. The pain blistered in his side with the consecutive force of his right hand. Enough he said to himself; Wa removed the painstaking paper off of the wound and began wrapping himself with the new bandage. He still felt weak but did feel slightly healed now. Wa was determined to regain his walking however. He pushed himself off of the wall and tried to balance himself. It worked. Next he took one step, it was pretty easy and he took another and another until he was out of the bathroom. He made it to his bed and didn't bother to change but fell onto his bed and drifted off to sleep.

Day 8

As Wa's eyes cringed open along with the arrival of a crisp new day. He starred at the ceiling, thinking of nothing but his recent losing. He sighed and rolled to his side to make his proggressive way out of bed. He had a momment of difficulty for the side he picked to turn to contained the stabbed rib. He grunted and clamped his teeth shut as he finaly came to his feet, barley; the shinobi was wobbling and seemed to be near collapsing at any given momment. He searched the room, looking for his sensei, but only Zhou was to be found. His trusty companion left the room in search of Sensei Chris, to alert him of wa's waking.

In the meanwhile, Wa took slow consecutive steps away from his bed. Now he stopped, three feet from the edge of his bed. He outstretched his legs and focused on one thing, stratching. He took a few seconds to revive his legs of their weariness, which was simple because of their solid condition (OoC: That means that they weren't hurt). His first success of the day: his legs returned to an acceptable strength.

Wa: "(So it seems they were only tired..)"

Wa was now able to make his way around the room. Feeling accomplished, he took another pause and centered his attantion to his rib. The fresh bandage's white color was begining to fade. Not totaly, but enough to tell that the bandage was used. He touched his side, gently and felt the stinging from yesterday at half. this was a good sign, he was recovering, however not fully recovered yet. The important part was that it wouldn't get in the way of today's training, or so he hoped...-

Sfx: The door opens up at a normal pace and a set of cat footsteps clank against the wooden floor.

Sensei Chris: "There's nothing you can do for it. It'll heal in good time. What I'm worried about is that you've lost a lot of blood yesterday. I want you to go to the store and buy a blood pill. Take two even."

As the sensei walked out he pointed to the small table in the room that held a plate with food from the floor. Wa walked over and studied what he had for breakfast, it looked good and so he began to devour it. He didn't bother to use any devices for eating...just his hands; the fastest method as he would say. As soon as he was finished, he ran out the door with his money and gear.

OoC: This Part is at the Shinobi shop.
