Ganta Igarashi has been convicted of a crime that he hasn't committed, and sent to a new, privately owned and operated prison, where the inmates are the main attraction in a modern day twist to the gladiatorial coliseums of ancient times. Throw in a healthy dose of weird little girl, some new-found super powers, and a little conspiracy theory, and you have Deadman Wonderland.



To me this is a really good manga. It is a pretty intense with the fighting and the story is really good. It truly is the survival of the fittest with the most ruthless criminals. The latest chapter made me wondering what the hell is going on with a certain character.

Yes I've been reading this one, it's really nice. It shows all the perversity in this world where people just come here to watch them fight to death.
And how this world is unfair, I mean things went so fast for the kid he didn't even have time to protest that he was already in this prison!
But it has a good amount of fights ans action. Lots and lots of mysteries (What was that young girl, and her grandpa!!)

her grandpa...is a f'd up person. all those people are freaking scary, i mean even the ones you think are sweet are even more screwed up.

i would almost say that this can represent how screwed up society can be.

There's definitly some massive potential in this manga. Waiting for the next chapter impatiently.

Chapter 12 was really good. So now we see the group that will start the rebellion. A little predictable, but it's all good.

well i would expect there to be a group, a kid taking on an entire prison would be a bit much. but it seems the sister is gaining hope, tho i don't see her surviving. i think she is going to die either by shiro or made an example of by the prison.

but it was a good chapter, i enjoyed the end with the long ass name for her kick to the guy's balls lol.

I doubt the sister would die so easily. She is most likely going to join the aforementioned rebellion. Shiro in the long run seems to be the problem. She is the wretched egg after-all. She might be the main obstacle in destroying the place.

Why did Ganta get such a predictable ability though. A bullet. I mean every single time it either has to be a projectile blast or a sword. Yuck!

Well the manga is still interesting me so far.

Just be armless in the process. But this chapter was awesome. I just realized how fast this manga moves, this is only chapter 15 and so much stuff happened already.

wow what a chapter. damn i am so confused by shiro. shes good and innocent but then is a mass murderer. which is it. ugh, i am happy with the series, i want mooooooore.

i wonder what owl will do, he probably will change sides but shiro will come at the last second to save ganta unless ganta somehow develops a stronger power.

It will be like the first REAL character psyche progression then, because so far even when Ganta was fighting (and winning) he's been the same type of frightened boy he always is.

I hope Shiro finally leaves Ganta's ass to save itself, because quite frankly he has been a jackass to her almost the whole time for what she has done for him, and he should be able to realize that.

Classic almost rape scene in Chapter 18. Every manga needs one.

Ganta better not somehow live through massive anemia... I really don't want the manga to start breaking its own rules in giving him more shots than he should be able to have.

Ya and the guys sis is really epic.

Also ganta should use smaller more concentrated bullets that could withstand the speed.

yup yup yup for the great chapter. so much goodness for this chapter. the near rape scene, tho it didnt make sense considering how powerful shiro is.

but i can't wait to see ganta kick ass. hopefully he comes near death from using too much blood etc.

Judging by her character I assume she leveled a whole mountain of them... but yes... alcohol in general will be her cryptonite from now on. Though I expect next chapter for the situation to register in her mind when Ganta get's owned trying to save her or something, and then she'll go over the top because she's drunk.

Also anybody else feel like Crow might just become the Kenpachi of DW only modest with women? That dude is tall like Kenpachi, Has crazy hair like Kenpachi, has crazy smile like, has an eyepatch like Kenpachi and fights and talks like Kenpachi.


EDIT: This series owns. It's moving fast too. Lots of potential in this series, hopefully it doesn't get shat on

He is honestly more smart and fun then ken if ken was as cool as he is I would like him.

I prefer Kenpachi's character to Crow's. Although Crow is my fav character in DW.
