It's hard to say anyone predicted this!
What will happen next? Can Duval be a challenge to the Strawhats, or will this arc end in the next chapter? Or will it somehow merge with mermaid island? I don't know, but next week we will be closer to finding out!!

hmm should i get onto readin one piece. ive always liked the show. i have so much catching up on the show also. one piece in australia i think is still on the very first episodes lol its on repeat and when ever you think you're gonna get more they start over.

i like manga better than anime anyways, but its always good to see how it is animated.

Seems like the "secret" behind Duval is that he looks like Sanji's "wanted" poster. That is irony, someone actually looking like that and being chased by the marines for it, because they think that he is Sanji...

So we can't measure Duval's actual strength yet, unlike if he had been someone we already knew. But he fights with weapons and wears armor, i bet that Sanji is going to fight him and defeat him quickly, and that we will then get into the main part of the mermaid arc.

I liked Sanjis reaction to Duvals story just to kick him in the face. I'm still wondering what direction this arc will go whether to save Ace or fight somebody else.

this arc just seems like a small precursor to them finding mermaid island and having an encounter with Jimbei and his mermen. Kinda like davy back to water 7. Anyway, this might drag on a little more but these dudes seem weak as shit. Its pretty funny tho.

Duval's past
He was having fun living the life of a humble Mafia, but his life changed as he started get chased by much more powerful Marines.
Afterwards, he captures Sanji with steel net, and throws him into the sea.
Camie goes to save him

On the surface, the battle's heating up
The Flying Fish Riders throw a rediculously massive anchor at Sunny
Franky backs the Sunny, and uses a extremely powerful cannon called the Gaon Cannon.
The Flying Fish Riders are annihilated

Meanwhile...
Sanji is saved by Camie, and has his head between her breasts. His eyes are in heart-shape
Duval loses his calm, and Sanji attacks him with the face-surgery kick (Barrage Shot, I believe? The one he used on Wanze)

Here is one more thing which i had missed to post
Well, on the pics posted, Robin notes how Luffy simply intimidated the bull, and it was knocked out.
Luffy seems to be puzzled at the effect also, so it maybe a hint that he's starting to have the same "aura" of intimidation that Shanks has.

Thanks for the spoilers blood eyes I really find this amusing arc a nice change of pace until another major arc starts. Something that may not really move the story forward very much but acts more like a segway into the coming arc.

Sanji changed the face of his poster look-a-like, like he did to ramen-dude.
It was a good chapter, Luffy made the enemy's bull pass-out using bloodthirst, kinda like Shanks does.

Bloodthirst? I think you mean "Killing Intent". And it is possible that is what he did but it was strange how the cow acted. Well Luffy should be strong enough at that level, but he had no intention to fight so i dont see why it would happen.

Funny chapter, nice short arc. Now to...

its nice to have a short arc from one piece. Hopefully oda wont blow this up anymore. Wrapup in the next few chapters and then moving on. Its a pretty funny idea though. Good to see Oda is still as committed as always to making One Piece funny too.

I somewhat pity that guy who looks like Sanji's poster...everything he tried was just futile. But now he won't look like the poster anyway, so his problems should be over. Besides his men being blasted and his stronghold being ruined. What a powerful weapon, the Sunny is full of surprises.
