naw that was one of my favorite scenes i mean that was just too classic i found it funnier then sad, because right after sephiroth rapes aeris he just gives this smirk to cloud acknowleding that ya i own you and your woman too mwahahahahah (goes into his usual god pose) i mean cmon how could you not love that. I mean i didnt expect that at first but when i saw it i jst burst out laughing. like omg he just didnt lmao. But then again i usually like the darker side of the final fantasy chars they are more interesting/ more complex to me, that is why i liked vincent... he was in your party but could you say he really was a good guy?? i mean he wasnt human, he had this dark sentiment to him , and he had a dark pst full of murder and kidnap. Very interesting. Barret, he was just the comic relief man, always busting everyone up pikcing fights. Cid was another favorite character of mine. down to earth fellow who knew how to get shit done. Aeris was my fav of the female group , she was the most useful id say i mean great gospel should be forbidden such a godly limit.

and ther eIS a flashback when cloud drops her into the water... they its in the trailer for FInal Fantasy X-2 + last mission , and i believe it also had a conversation between cloud and her or something but dont hit me witht hat , my japanese is quite poor :) all i got was something about her death that some female was talkig about and cloud asking for forgiveness or something of tha tlike.

heh looks like snialy finally tossed aside that gay from X and went for the cooler better half CLoud, anyways VIncent better kick ass like he did in game. And yes i ahve seen the trailer thats how i know about it :) and if you look AnimeSUki actually now has Subbed versions of the trailer.

sephiroth "West wind" I think that's what its translated to" has to be the greatest bad guy of all time...

He is determined to destroy the world and has little time for small matters,

Then Cloud Strife his perfect opposite (well not at first) is the greatest match for such a foe... :!:

I have dodged COUNTLESS trailers to keep the surprise of this film and not even read the storyline as I think that It will blow me away without fail... and if not then I have lost faith in LIFE!!! :wink:

And all this dissappointment about how long it is...its actually longer than I expected. I was always kept on the edge of my chair...and gooooooooosebumps!!!!! I posted my review of it in the Spam Zone, while the credits reel was still warm.

I don't feel critical, I don't feel negative, and yet I -was- a tad disappointed. I'm torn because I liked it, but haven't the will to ignore the flaws I noticed. T_T!!

I don't like the idea of Dirge of Cerberus being a shooter, this has got to be Square Enix's first shooter game, and an FF shooter seems a little too strange for me.

I do have to agre... Square's strength is in their adventure games with their RPG elemetns ( i still refuse to call FF a RPG) the only thing close to a shotter i've seen was those lame mini game things in FF x-2... which wasn't all that promising... Leave the shooters to the professionals but then again I can be proven wrong... maybe they can pull off a good shoter but then they'd have to make some many changes.. FPS requires violence... no matter what you are shoting someone adn in order to feel the satisfaction of blasting there must be some kind of gore... which I have yet to see in any FF tital aside from a few slashes and what not... I just don't see how a shotter will work out if they can't implement the violent nature of this genre but meh who knows maybe they will and maybe it'll be good

To add to that, the graphics aren't anything special, from what I've seen; with which Square Enix usually have developed games with high quality graphics. As for violence, I'm fairly sure that there was violence in the trailer that I saw, but that was a while ago so I could be wrong.

i'm not saying like as far as there should be huge gore factors like ther is in Unreal Tournament (but i love it so much) but yeah you know what I mean... like when I shotot someone I want to know hell they felt that, or when i get blasted damn that haurt me kind of feel

the story helps understand the game better. I mean..even my comprehension skills were a bit lower because i didnt like reading all the time when I played the game.

I also think that Dirge of Cerberus will make a really decent way for SquareEnix to stretch their legs in something different for a change.

I mean seriously... they're going to take their time and make sure its good. Like they did with Advent Children and what they are doing for FFXII. Its all going to be good.

o.O' What was wrong with Advent Children? The story was good in my opinion. All it was doing was adding on to FFVII. Its not like it was supposed to have an epic Game level story. That would take a few days of watching to get that kind of detail and stuff...

well the movie pwnd like hell :P it was nice to see what happend to the ppl that you played with in the game
the part i liked best is where they are in midgard and they pwn that sumon

yeah the movie was great, just wished SPOILER....COMING UPthat Sephiroth turned into the One Winged Angel before Cloud destroyed him.

I just saw it and it was really good

except they could of gone into more detail
and they only focused on cloud. so you only got to see the others like barriet and my favorite red x, for about 5 seconds
and i hated how in the game it takes your whole team to beat sepheroth and in the movie cloud has difficulty fighting that guy then pawns sephorith
overall i'd give it like a 7.5

but stilll great movie
