So, ace... a character who should play a big part in the upcoming arc. His life is in danger, and his life is wearing away. do you guys think, regardless of what luffy says, the strawhat captain really feels desperate about ace's situation. What's going to happen to him? Maybe he'll die and it'll be a big wakeup call for luffy. Just talk and discuss about my Ace...

Well its a good thought but Luffy has never worried about Ace, even when he seems in a pinch. He's always like, "Ace is strong, he can take care of himself". There's a chance that merman island and impel down are somewhat close so they might end up meeting him again....maybe in time to save his life. But i think luffy isn't worried at this point....

agreed. He seems very strong... he's third best (I think) in Whitebeard's crew. That means that Whitebeard's Crew is hellishly strong.

I think BB defeating Ace was his ticket to joining the Shubakia and cause of BB a new face thats so dangerous he was able to injure Shanks. Some crazy ass events could occur now involving all the main forces of One peice and of course the Notorious Straw hats.

Now we finally learn what that "event" Oda mentioned before Ace's fight with BB will be. His execution will create a fucking war, with WB at the helm. I'm pretty excited cuz now we'll see more of WB, Shanks, Sengokou, and possibly all 3 admirals. shit's gonna get exciting.

i don't think ace can though...that fight proved that his ability trumped ace's at this point.

Even Luffy wouldn't be able to touch Blackbeard, his power is basically to create and control a black friggin hole. I hope Ace survives, he most likely would and may very well come to the aid of Whitebeard when that battle with the 7 happens...

Why would he need to help a little? He is still a member and no one knows that he got his ass handed to him by Luffy, he is most likely going to fight with the rest of them.

You know, people heal, many days have passed already since the battle. It is not like he lost two minutes ago, and its not like the fighting has already started.
The fighting will most likely start the day of Ace's execution.

with the exception of maybe buggy and recently haccin, the pirates(or villains in general) who get owned by luffy and crew don't make any significant returns to the story. the way its layed out though it would be 4 on 7 with wb, marco, 3rd division(that huge guy),and maybe a new 4th division vs kuma, Do, BB, Mihawk, jimbei and the last shcibukai that we don't know about. That's if everyone shows including moria.

Funny how you say that when the people he fought are all the full strength already( Luffy and Zoro) not to mention that Zoro arguably took the most damage in that encounter.
As long as Moria is still a member he will show up again in the battle against Whitebeard unless he has been replaced which i doubt. Whitebeard has various fighting units doesn't he? I believe Ace was the commander of one of them. So this could be a large scale naval and man to man battle.

Is Thatch is dead then i can see why they are attacking after taking Ace, since that leaves Marco at Whitebeards side.

Yup... thatch is the guy who was killed by blackbeard to get the shadow fruit.
Marco has to be able to match up to one of the the SB and Dozu can match up to another...
there has to be other powerful people in WBs crew.... But once again, SB have crews of their own. I doubt their first mates, etc. are small fries.
