Got a series to Recommend?

cuz im trying to figure out what to watch between Naruto and FUllMetal ALchemist... any suggestions? (something to pass between the release of the episodes for these two)

I actively participate in school and the community, THat is why i won the Dreamer and Doer award that Disney hands out to select individuals. now back to the topic, anybody out there have a series or movie that they thought was just too good to pass up?

True, true..plus whoever insults after an innocent question should think twice before shooting their mouth of, especially when it happens within an anime forum where everybody else who is a member happens to watch anime ;)

Enough of that tho...if you fancy going for a nice session of depression, I would recommend Narutaru, don't be put off by the very first episode, it starts out all cute and cuddely and looks like a cross between SailorMoon and Pokemon also the opening theme is all happy and chirpy, but it takes a drastic turn pretty early in this series and I just have one word to discribe it..2 words actually: Very Disturbing.

Give it a try sometimes.

Look on the bright side. 4kids only licenced the first season. I it gets popular enough then mabye another dubbing company will licence it.

looking at 4gays history... that show doesnt ahve a chance with their PISS POOR dubbing and BUTCHEERING.... they should outlaw companies like them who KILL works of art.

you know :evil: I don't mind dubbing but funimation (which has the new Tenchi GXP series by the way :cry: ) and the godforsaken 4kids truly give the good dubbing companies that try a really hard time.

god im glad i already saw GXP in its japanese form before it got transformed into this dubbing garbage which they pile on the shelves, and i agree there are pretty good dubbing companies out there that DONT mutilate the show , keep it to its true form , its true content but then there are those as you mentioned (i refuse to even bash their names its nto worth the breath) whichjust take these works of art and force what they title "appropriate" for younger audiences. WTF!?! people have a choice in what they watch, if they dont want to see a violent, grotesque or sexually oriented show on air THEN DONT EVEN BOTHER PUTTING IT UP ... i would rather have it on the shelves and never on tv then to have to go through the pain of wathcing great shows get blown to shit by these companies

Gunslinger Girls is a bad ass series. I was really suprised how much I liked this series. It was bad ass. I actually watched the 13 episodes all in one night, thats how much I liked it.
