Special NC Banner Contest

Ok guys. We need a series of small banners, that will link other sites to these forums. So, what better way to get top-quality banners, than asking the arty community of NC?

So, we have a contest on our hands. Here's how it works

We need a banner that advertises NC. Most importantly, the reader must be able to see where its taking him/her. It must be flashy, easy to read and must look proffesional.

Also, importantly, we need 3 versions of the same banner, one at each of the following resolutions:

120 x 90
90 x 60
90 x 30

You can make as many entries as you like, as long as we have the three versions of each, at the correct resolution.

PM your entries to me (all three version please).

We will start as soon as we have enough entries/when the entries die down.
Please help out with this one guys, we need you to make some cool stuff. If you're an aspiring GFX artist, this is a good time to see how well you can whip photoshop/gimp/paint.

Are you sure these specs are correct? I mean... my avatar is about the same size as the latter two... and yours is WAY bigger then any of the three...

These seem more like buttons, rather then banners...

Wouldn't 120 x 300 and 90 x 225 be more banner like? Might just be a vernacular technicality... but those sizes seem very tiny for properly making a display banner our site...

well, these are pretty much buttons i guess. They will be used to link other sites to NC and are meant to be pretty small.

Keeping the original in a larger format would probably be a good idea, coz we're gonna do a BOTM contest soon, so having one corrosponding with that one.... ^.^

Ok- i guess there is no need to be impatient. Should i give you guys an extra two weeks or a month since some of you have began classes.

After this will be a contest for banners for new skins to be installed latest by next weekend. Hopefully the internet doesnt crash on me again.

Yes. This is a contest to get tiny banners so we can be hosted on FH and maybe other sites in the future. This will link to this forum. I have decided to make this thread active as long as it can.

The real Banner Thread should begin sometime this week. Which will be to find a banner to replace the current one hanging so sadly on top of the forum :alien:

I actually really like the new one... but I've got something in mind that will knock ur sock off if it works out (although ppl with 56k might wanna upgrade HAHHA)
