Like... what the hell happened at the end? A typical Square Enix ending, more questions than answers and just plain dumb. My god, it was such an awesome story, then its like all the writters went on strike and some drunk and/or drugged out scabs came in and finished the ending.
w.o.t!!

it was all written by the same guy?
I thought it was a good ending, the only real way Jio could conquer the world was by saving it. And, we don't exactly have a situation where he is dead... potentially, this has opened the door for (if Kishi wanted to...) a Satan666 pt Two(SatanBall Z?)
The SEARCH FOR JIO! New spaceaged enemies!

Seemed a little rushed, but I still really enjoyed it. Like steve said hopefully we see more of 666Satan in the future, probably my favorite manga of all time so far.

I think if ball and co. went searching for jio and co. and we found perhaps some tribe from the original planet in space that worshipped satan and the other recipes.... seems to me like aquickly thought up, potentially exciting plot line.
Hah lets write to kishi and tell him what we want.

Yeah I mean there is alot of stuff he could do and hopefully does do. I really want to see more out of this series I think it has so much potential and it just kind of ended to soon.

Very much agreed. It would be nice to see it made into an anime. It would not be victim to spoilers... EVER or poor pacing... EVER. And, I read so much of it so long ago that a lot of the first half of the series would be essentially new to me.

I was a bit disappointed with the end. I would have liked to see more, considering it had more potential than that. But I also guess that's the only way Jio could conquer the world as someone above said. In the end though I really did think this was a great manga.

Steve I'm with you 100% on turning it into a anime. The Story doesn't need stupid fillers because the story is so long and so well put together. Hopefully the anime doesn't try to mess with it at all and it turns out kick ass.

I remember reading someplace that they were considering animating it. I don't really see why they wouldn't. Its almost an ideal project... they could get a good 3-5 seasons out of it and would've haveto drag it out at all. It could be pure quality, think of the viewership it would command while in existence.

Well last chapter wasn't that bad....I had low expectations after last chapters...they seem rushed and uninspired... I believe that somewhere after few first chapters in timeskip 666 became more boring.... This isn't just my idea, the lack of interest in this forum for last chapters kinda confirm it... The idea was typical of a manga, the end of world thing, trusting others or trust only yourself....666 for sure in my opinion isn't a masterpiece, its imperfect, it can never be Neon Genesis Evangelion or even Naruto (a more mainstream manga)..but its still good try... Thanks to all guys that scanned, typed and translated the series so we can read it....

mm it is true that it was a pretty standard issue ending for a manga, but we all knew that was where it was going to the kabblah's. Either, the world was going to be conquered by some evil force OR the world would be destroyed and one way or another Jio would be responsible for saving it. I dont know, the fights were more epic, less thought provoking, I still really enjoyed them though. I think also, as an anime, those parts would've been huge and really impressive to watch.
Re: lack of interest. We've only had a satan666 section for well under a year. There was almost no interest before then, if I recall.

the manga was alright the final was okay i guess, like people said typical. seems like he just wanted to end it so he just wrote the first thing he could think of. it is in a position to where he could continue it if he wanted
storyline is almost identical to naruto sorta {see attached spoiler}
like the first old guy reminded me of the bridge builder and yeah just simple things like that. he had a demon in him, there were also others like him, they tried to capture all of them to seal them in Kaballah, which is like the statue, also always saying he will conquer the world sorta like naruto saying he will definitely be hokage, but yeah it was pretty good. also the 3 eye guy that trained Jio and Ball reminded me of Mr. hat and clogs/Urahara

Well for some reason it seems like alota animes that seem like are draging on and on and on end kinda horrible even if it just seem like it will drag on and on when they end it seem like one day they were like "ok the budgets gone 'WRAP IT UP'" (in the words of the Chappelle Show) lol
Shorter Anime/Mangas usually end every well example(death note, Gant, Elfin Lied) ended great I was very fullfiled haha
Longer Animes/Mangas usually end horribly example(inyasha<Anime>, hunterXhunter<Anime>/[kinda justified],Claymore<anime>) ended horrible and unfulfilled
Big thing 666 Satan was a Manga and the ended wasn't up to par it was a great all around series but could have ended alot better.............. I think

Elfen Lied hasnt ended has it?
The ending was rushed, but i dont see what you are talking about. Seriously speaking 666 Satan had quit the short story span, it only seemed long because each arc was greatly detailed.
Most of the examples you gave about ending badly though are just all anime that caught up to the manga and were given alternate endings...
Whatever, i can't wait for this to become an anime.

while i agree the last chapter itself was rushed, like don said the rest was incredibly detailed. it was like once all the demons and angels were collected, it was decided to end it right then.
maybe he will decide to do a special chapter to say what happened etc.

yeah i think it will make an awesome anime and they wont have to have fillers

What I meant about 666 Satan is that it seemed like it would be a very long series like Naruto or bleach ect but it did seem rushed ya know

Actually i predicted that it would end exactly as it did, but i thought it would be around 90 chapters, not 76. The last few fights were sorta cut short.
Ball's fight was cut short.
Ruby's fight was also too short.
And their first against Crescent was also short.

Yes it seem like it would be alil longer but they cut it short:tsk:

i agree with this sentiment. WHen the series suddenly wrapped up in 3 chapters it sortof took me by surprise. I was expecting a little more from the main cast first to be honest... it seemed like they all had some more space to work with.
Although the ending was a litttleeee bit open ended... it would be cool if we got a "satan666-Z" or something. (but unlikely...)

Yeah you tens to see the quick endings in amines this is one of the first time I've seen it in a manga that I can think of. Well a sequel sounds good but unlikely.
All in all this was a very good series even tho it was cut short
