Ok, here's the setup for the finals arena (explained in the ToTS thread more thuroughly)

Now... how will the arena's connect?
Here's the setup:

From Arena 7, the bridge (where the players start):
If they finalists jump off the bridge, they land on Arena 12 (tanker)
If they head east, they enter Arena 6 (colloseum)
If they head west, they enter Arena 5 (cityscape)

In the Arena 5, they can enter the following Arena's
Arena 8 (shinobi academy)... in the city
Arena 10 (Room 32)... in the city
Arena 2 (forest) by going north)

From arena 12 (tanker) they can enter:
Arena 1 (marsh) by jumping off the tanker and swimming to the west.
Arena 11 (desert) by jumping off thetanker and swimming to the east.

From Arena 1, they can move further west, into Arena 2 (forest)

From Arena 2, they can move south, into the cityscape

From arena 11, they can move north to Arena 3 (mountain top) or south to arena 4 (cave of darkness).

From arena 3, they can move further north to arena 9 (volcano)

From arena 4, they can move south to Arena 6 (through a hole i nthe colloseum walls)

this is the way all 12 arena's are connected. No PRE's are active during the finals.

*White smoke engulfed the bridge as the thundering rapids shook the massive bridge. It's steel cables swaying back and forth and the loose gravel vibrated up and down. The smoke gently cleared and a small boy revealed himself. Sitting down on the ground, the boy's ragged clothes barely covered his body as his hands were wrapped around his kness and his head ducked down. His shivering body sat leaned up against one of the towers on the eastern side of the bridge.*

Unraveling the last of her bandages, a young girl steps onto a sullen bridge. Her legs are a fresh pink after untying the hospital cloth. It was only a few days ago that she had her legs scorched in the tournament semi finals… and then there was the gaping scar on her left shoulder… another mark that the terrible Tenks had left on her. He was an opponent that she would not soon forget.

But, the day carried a heavy air to it, for this day marked the final battle of the Tournament of the Sun. It had been a long time since the preliminary rounds, where Anryoku had lost her first fight ever, against a boy named Kaishi… however, due to some freak accidents of luck, she was placed back in the tournament, where she defeated Arashi Tetsu, a boy named Shutsuga and the formidable Tenks… and now she stood in the final battle, one which the shinobi world would look upon with hungry eyes.

Her body wore many scars, but her mind held even more and refused to let them leave that close space from her heart. This young girl was troubled, to say the least. Onlookers were astonished in the semi finals, where the young girl had started screaming like a maniac. They had little idea of what was wrong with the poor girl, but most concluded that she was a bit crazy. In all honesty, they were not very far off, for Anryoku had her inner demons, like everyone else…. But, unlike everyone else, her inner demons made a frequent trip the windows of the real world… and with the last visit, those demons nearly shattered the pane of glass that separated them from the outside world, the one where her opponents delved and gauged holes in her shoulder. She was lost in coma for most of her days at the hospital, but eventually came by with little memory of what had happened. Faint dreams of it emanated softly in her mind; a dim candle too hard to place… about to die, yet still holding on with one withered breath. Was what she remembered what really happened? Was her mind really riddled with those landmines?

Either way, despite the pleas from the hospital staff, Anryoku trudged to her final battle. Would it mean the end of her, would it spell her death? Would it drench her in the sickening sweet stench of victory? Or would it cost her humiliation at the hands of some opponent that she did not know?

Anryoku could not predict…. But as she walked on the bridge, as the glisten of a setting sun struck her face, she saw a boy at the opposite end of the bridge… a boy who looked oddly familiar. He was at the hospital. He was at the one ceremony she was at. He was the one who stood in front of her when she lost her first battle.

It was Kaishi.

The boy who had defeated her was there, in the flesh. The boy who stole victory from her was facing her yet again, this time in the finals. Their first encounter was in the first round of the tournament… and their next encounter was in the final round of the tournament. It was evident to the young Kagirinai girl that this boy was intervened in her fate, woven into the fibers of her life… unless she cut it this day.

The sun set, setting the river below the bridge on fire, painting water crimson and gold and soaking the sky as red as blood, was now on its way to leave the fight. His look upon the world gave traces of warmth. He would not see the fight that would ensue this day… but he would see the aftermath. An aftermath that was destined to be tainted with blood and hurt… sweat and tears… pride and honour… victory and defeat.

With a deep breath, the silver haired girl walked closer to the boy. She looked at him with a kind of admiration.

“(He has grown… In this small time, he has matured a lot, it seems. He also seems to have become much wiser… Of course he has, he’s won all his fights up until now, undoubtedly…. As for today…)”

She shook her head with defiance.

“Not this time.”

Her emerald eyes beamed towards him. It was time. The setting sun called the beginning of the final match. Her silver hair ran down her shoulders and shuddered the tainting red sunlight from it, creating a soft pink glow around her visage. Her lips ran in a thin line, keeping an undeniable form of rigid order in her face. It was time.

“Kaishi… it is me, Anryoku. It is good to meet you again… but I fear this time, it will not end the same way it did last time. I wish you good luck, my friend.”

And with that, the young girl reached down to her wakizashi, with one hand on the hilt of the emerald blade… her other hand hung low to her left hand side, at her pocket….

*The thundering of the rapids below did not cease, even after the sun began to end its daily routine and immerse itself in the dark heavens of the universe. Long shadows now began to dance on the ground, moving spasmodically back and forth, but never leaving their predestined dwelling. The little boy suddenly stopped shivering as another presence made itself felt on the fruitless concrete. A beautiful girl, or so it seemed from a distance, walked fearlessly across the catwalk. Faint words began to be heard over the song of the water, and they got louder as the girl came closer and closer to the little boy*

Anry : Kaishi… it is me, Anryoku. It is good to meet you again… but I fear this time, it will not end the same way it did last time. I wish you good luck, my friend.

*The familiar voice rang through Kaishi’s ears as a white puff of smoke engulfed the boy*

SFX : SHINK !!

Kaishi : Never thought I would see you again...

*The smoke cleared and a tall, lean figure appeared before Anry. A large shadow cast itself on the pale concrete, as Kaishi’s gourd and his spiky white hair worked simultaneously to fabricate an outline of a monster. Kaishi’s stern voice rang loud and clear, dwarfing the rumbling waters to nothing more than a buzzing fly. His extended wakizashi gleamed in the setting sun, making it appear as though the gods themselves blessed the gentle sword. But the blade did not seek forgiveness nor pity, it wanted to cut, it wanted to slice, it longed for the taste of blood. Kaishi was ready and so was his partner. His right hand extended toward Anry, while his left hand reached over to his chest and the gourd suddenly fell of his back, shattering on the ground and sand spreading everywhere between the two eastern towers.*

Kaishi : Before we begin, what happened to you?

*Kaishi was referring to Anry’s beat up look of course, for he remembered her body to be that of a virgin, not of a warrior*

The sand is now spread between the two eastern towers.. When and If Anry steps in the area, Kaishi will have a surprise for her ;)

The sound of a wakizashi being unsheathed rung clearly in the young Kagirinai’s ears. Her opponent stood in front of her, ready for battle. He dropped his gourd, obviously to take some weight off... it was at this time that Anryoku realized that she had never taken her training weights off... not once. Even while bathing, she wore those cumbersome weights. So, while her opponent dropped his gourd and unsheathed his wakizashi, Anryoku bent down and untied her ankle weights... but never removing her eyes from her opponent. After she realised the ankle weights, she dropped them to the ground... and then, she bent back up (still staring her opponent in the eyes) and slowly detached the weights from her arms. Her skin was soft and pink under the straps of those weights... as she removed them, she could feel a sudden vibrancy of freshness and strength in her arms and legs. It wasn’t a huge speed boost, but it was something.

She left both of her arm-weights still hanging from her left hand, while her right hand lay rested on her wakizashi, when her opponent uttered some words from the other side of the bridge.

“Before we begin, what happened to you?”

The voice was familiar… it was undoubtedly him.

“What happened to me? I ran into a tough opponent, on my way to the finals… Seems I just bumped into another tough opponent. You can add a few scars if you like… but you won’t walk away with a victory to your name. Sorry, but that’s the way it is…”

Her voice was stern, yet it held some form of passion in it. Her hand tightened even further onto her wakizashi… but she decided to throw the one set of the weights to the feet of her opponent, in a picture of defiance and battle-lust. It dropped about a meter away from his feet. She kept looking at his eyes, which seemed pretty cold. She then looked at his blade. It wanted blood.

Not unlike hers.

“Now… let’s go.”

She stared forwards and got into a battle-ready position, throwing her weight on her left leg, while her right leg protruded forward… her right hand was ready to swing the wakizashi from her sheath… and her left arm hung at her side, holding the remaining arm weight and its strap in her hand.

*Kaishi's eyes were kept on the prize as the girl before him bent down to remove the shakles which weighed her feet down. The two shinobi kept their eyes locked together, as though communicating without words. A beautiful dance portraying intself in the eyes of the young warriors. But that was all mindless delusion, for in battle you have no friends, only enemies. Kaishi's blood thirsty sword screamed out in pain and rage as it sat silently in his hand.*

Kaishi : Before we begin, what happened to you?

Anry : What happened to me? I ran into a tough opponent, on my way to the finals… Seems I just bumped into another tough opponent. You can add a few scars if you like… but you won’t walk away with a victory to your name. Sorry, but that’s the way it is…

*Kaishi noted the determination in her voice. A woman's mind cannot be easily changed and "Hell hath no furry like a woman scourned". Kaishi noticed the girl's muscles tense up as her body was becoming ready to be cut ! And Kaishi knew it. With a swift motion, a set of weights fell about a meter away from Kaishi's feet. A quick shuffle and Kaishi ended up two meters away from the weights, for no single person can be too careful in heat of battle. No sign of emotion leaked from Kaishi, as his still body seemed like a stone wall in an unpenetrable city.*

Anry : Now.... lets go

*Exclaimed the eager warrior as her weight shifted and her body suddenly assumed a defensive stand*

Kaishi : (I see)

*The girl wanted Kaishi to make the first move, and that was perfectly fine with him. Just as the girl shifted her weight, Kaishi threw his wakizashi up high in the air !!! With a very quick movement, he reached into his kunai holster with both hands and threw two kunai at the young girl. One of the kunai headed for her knees, while the other toward her face. Kaishi's sword gleamed in the beautiful sunset and the two kunai raced toward the girl, only a mere 6 m away. BUT Kaishi was not done there. Aftre throwing the kunai, in one smooth motion, Kaishi's palms fumbled and a light breeze blew accross the arena as Kaishi's fist was now less then a meter away from the girl, headed straight for her chest. Kaishi's body was on the GIRL'S left side so he was about to land his left fist right into her sternum. Two dark objects flickered next to Kaishi. Anry was about to get a taste of a trible pounding*

The first attack was always a critical one. It seemed to set the pace for the entire battle, and if the upper hand landed in the hands of the attacker at this early stage of the fight, it could often spell disaster for the other fighter.

Anryoku knew this, but she was confident that she could avoid giving the upper hand to her opponent. She knew that if she played her cards well, she could take that upper hand and use it.

It began when Kaishi threw his wakizashi into the sky. It twirled up in a tornado of steel that flickered the last rays of the setting sun down upon the surface of the bridge. However, gravity would probably take its toll on the wakizashi, bringing it back down to the world. Seeing this, Anryoku prepared some chakra at her feet, especially her right foot. She also heard a sound to her left, the sound of a ship moving in the water. A tanker was passing below the bridge.

While she heard this, her opponent also launched two kunai at her... This signalled a problem to the young Kagirinai girl... But, luckily she had placed an explosive tag on the weights she had thrown towards her opponent. He had not used it like she intended, but now it served two purposes... She flicked her right hand up and performed the seal.

“Kai”

And as she did... as she detonated the explosive tag, her opponent disappeared in a flicker. It was perfect timing... she had hoped that the explosion would catch her opponent if he passed through the line of the explosion... even if it didn’t, the explosion would still blast the kunai out of the way. That was the one purpose... the other was to give her a second or so where she could perform her grand plan... For the explosion riddled the air with smoke, debris and sunset flame, which obscured the path between her and him... It was time for her plan.

With a sudden blast, she used the chakra at her feet to propel herself about 2 meters backwards. This would confuse her opponents attack, as he would expect her to be standing 2 meters ahead and it would probably be troublesome to stretch his shuunshin even further in the last split seconds of its travel (especially after travelling through the raging explosion and the travelling debris). She waited a split second. She knew that after the wait, he would spot her... and then she turned to her left and performed a running jump off of the bridge.... and down towards the tanker, where she intended on continuing the fight. Her leap was sudden and fast, but her landing on the tanker would be a bit rough... It was. As she landed, she fell hard and her knees buckled... but she still drew her wakizashi, ready for the battle on the ship which would ensue under the twilight after sunset.

*Kaishi flung two black objects at the ,former, beatufy before him. Instantly, he began forming seals, when his eyes noticed the young lady lift her right hand and move her elegant fingers.*

Kaishi : (Kuso!)

*But it was too late, the seals have been formed and Kaishi launched at the girl with incredible speed*

SFX : BOOOOOM

*Kaishi felt the showave from the explosive note on the weight catch his body and send him sliding off to his right side. Thankfully he was heading toward the girl's left side, so he didn't pass through the center of the blast and gotten eaten up. Even though the blast vibrated througout his whole body, Kaishi tried his hardest to keep his eyes on the girl, whom now jumped back a few meters and took a mad leap off the bridge. Kaishi, being blasted to the right side, heard teh tanker approaching and he knew the girl tried to escape his manly clutch, but he would not let her. Being about 6 m below the bridge and counting, it was not long until the girl would reach the tanker, which was around 10 m below, and escape. With stern determination and speed, he formed the needed seals and in a flash appeared on the tanker below, with the girl flying down toward his body at pretty fast speed and now only 1 or 2 m away. A smile came over Kaishi's face as he reached down and pulling out two kunai jumped up at the girl in one motion. One kunai racing toward her neck and one toward her ribcage !!!!!!!!*

With a thunderous blast, debris and flame clouded the air, creating a barrier of invisibility between the two opponents. It was then that a young girl leaped from the bridge, plummeting towards the tanker below... however, her opponent who had once planned on hitting her on the bridge, had altered his plan to appear on the tanker.

However, there was something that he did not see. For, when the explosion took place, Anryoku had performed the bunshin jutsu, planned to be performed in the moments when Kaishi could not see her. The real Anryoku had immediately shot over the edge of the bridge, but had then clung to the bottom edge of the bridge, awaiting her opponent to jump down. She had latched herself to the edge using her hands, feet and a lot of chakra and had quickly swivelled her body around to have her chest facing the tanker that was passing under the bridge. The real Anryoku was placed perfectly to see when her opponent would jump off the bridge... then she would follow for the perfect stealth kill.

The bunshin was the one that remained on the bridge; the one that leapt back and caught her opponent’s eye with a flashy leap over the edge. It was thus the bunshin that tried to land on the deck of the tanker... but her opponent did not follow the bunshin as planned. Instead, Kaishi’s plan was to catch her!!

The real Anryoku saw her bunshin leap off the bridge, but she also faintly saw Kaishi appear on the tanker... and she saw him leap up towards her bunshin. On the edge of the bridge, Anryoku was hoping that he would not detect her... And, when the bunshin was between her and her opponent, she leapt forwards, assisted with a great amount of chakra, to give her the speed needed for the strike!

As Kaishi leapt forward, a young, white-haired girl was flying towards him. His kunai were drawn and ready for the kill... And they both were heading straight towards her, under the darkening sky... However, in a puff of cloud, the girl in front of him disappeared, as a green blast of ice shot straight through her!! The real Anryoku had fired a bolt of ice through her bunshin, towards her opponent! She knew were kaishe was, for the bunshin perfectly eclipsed her view of Kaishi... and this meant that he could not see the real Anry behind the bunshin... until it was too late. The green crystal was small but blindingly fast and headed for the left side of Kaishi’s chest. Anryoku had intended for a head shot, but flying through the air, her aim was a bit off... And after the green crystal, the young Kagirinai blasted through the cloud, holding her emerald wakizashi in her one hand and a kunai in her other! The kunai was in her left hand for defence, while her wakizashi’s tip threatened her opponent’s throat.

“(This is it. It won’t end the same way as last time, Kaishi)”

So Kagirinai Anryoku shot towards her opponent, through the clouds of her dissipated bunshin, following her small blast of jade ice. The ice would strike first, shortly followed by her wakizashi.... if all went as planned. And all this, while a pale red moon silently rose over the horizon...

OoC : I decided to go on with the fight ... if thats ok with you :D

*As Kaishi was mere inches away from the soft neck of his opponent, a white puff of smoke engulfed the shinobi and a sharp pain struck Kaishi in his left shoulder, making him drop the kunai he was holding oh so dearly. The ice that hit Kaishi was moving so fast and was so sharp, that it pierced through his whole shoulder and went flying down toward the ship. BUT this would not stop the determined Sunaton from attaining victory. As the smoke cleared, Kaishi noticed the real Anry flying down toward him, a wakizashi in her right hand and a kunai in her left. A wide, almost crazy, smile appeared on Kaishi's face as he instantly swiped his left hand along his left side. Kaishi and Anry were less than one meter away*

SFX : SHINK !!

*Kaishi's kunai collided with the metal of her wakizashi, blocking the attack from her right hand. Kaishi did not care about the kunai in her left. In one fluent motion, Kaishi's right hand blocked the wakizashi, while his, open palmed, left hand raced toward Anry's right hip. There was no way that at such a close distance Kaishi would miss a nice little slap, and he knew it. The sound of the raging river nullified the light shuffling that originated near by. The water below began to be tinted a dark red, but tonight, the whole river will drink from the shinobi's wounds*

In Kaishis left hand is an explosive note that he will SURELY attach to Anry and detonate :D :D woot woot

Azure Wrath
12-02-2007, 05:59 AM
While passing through the remains of her bunshin, Kagirinai Anryoku did not expect to see that her green ice crystal had hit her opponent. The small carrot-sized blast of ice did indeed move fast... so fast that it had drilled right through her opponent!! It was a shame that Anryoku only noticed this while it shot through. The explosive tag she had placed inside the crystal would not be as deadly as she had hoped for. Her original plan was to detonate it as it was inside her opponent... but the earliest she could detonate it was the instant it passed through Kaishi’s shoulder. And she did. By swiftly lifting her left hand (with the kunai still in it) she lifted two fingers to her face.

“Kai”

With that, the shard of ice exploded behind her opponent! A large blast ripped from the ice crystal and pounded several tiny ice shards towards the young boy’s back. However, Anry was not bargaining on those shards being any more of a hindrance. There were many of them and some of them could perhaps stick into his back, but it would be far from fatal. The heat of the explosion may also have done some minor damage to Kaishi’s back, but it was nothing that could win a battle. But the explosion did do a few things which benefited the young Kagirinai. Most importantly, it shot her opponent towards her, giving him a bit more speed, but disorientating his movement. His parry still came though and with the added momentum, it struck Anry’s wakizashi harder than intended. This shot her right arm around, leaving her wakizashi’s tip pointing to her right hand side and shot her hand back a long distance. Being a girl did not help, for her opponent could overpower her...and his parry did, which is why her arm was propelled so far back.

However, with her left hand at her face, with her kunai still in it and her opponent flying towards her much faster than he had expected, Anry had a very quick attack that lay before her. Her opponent lunged his left hand towards her right hip, in some kind of slap.

“(Is he trying to grope my ass? I doubt it...damn perverted boy)”

She hoped that her coming attack would force her opponent to stop his attack, for she did not trust his seemingly gentle slap. So, while Kaishi flew towards her, Anryoku thrusted her kunai in her left hand straight for his throat. The movement was sudden and incredibly swift. Her tip was aimed straight at his neck and would be fatal if he did not block it. She was hoping that he would have to abandon his attack in order to save his life. The sudden increase in his air speed would make it nearly impossible to move out of the way of the kunai... he was moving towards it with intense speed and her arm moved toward him at a rivalling speed. He had little to no time to react. Would he stop his silly slap at her side? Or was there something he would achieve with his slap that would be worth losing a throat for? While Anryoku lunged her left hand forward, she had gotten her right arm ready again for another strike. She held her wakizashi ready in case she needed to perform any phantom defences. And all the while, she kind of dreaded that slap that was on its way...

“Kill him... rip his throat out... let’s taste his blood”

...Then the voice started chirping up again...

OOC: The explosiver tag in the crystal was sent to Sol at the end of the previous post.

SFX : Boooom

*As Kaishi swept his hand by his side and his kunai raced toward the blade of his opponent's wakizashi, a powerful blast shook the air behind him. He felt a few stings in his back, but it was nothing compared to the hole in his shoulder. What he did not forsee, is that the blast propelled him upwards a bit quicker, and unwillingly, Kaishi's kunai hit the wakizashi a bit faster. Sending the young girl's hand flinging back. When the wakizashi was blocked, the young Sunaton's kunai ended up at his right shoulder, his hand reaching across his face and his left hand ready to feel up on the girl's soft skin. Kaishi knew perfectly well that the girl's left hand was open for attack and his predictions came true. Anryoku thrusted her kunai in her left hand straight for his throat, but the boy was not about to give up. In one motion, Kaishi flung his right hand to his left side, taking a stab in his left arm. But that was a good price to pay for getting some action. As he got stabbed, his left hand made contact with the girl's hip, and now, as the two were side by side in teh air, going opposite directions, Kaishi flexed his left arm as blood poured out of his shoulder and pushed off the young girl's hip, propelling her down a bit faster and putting some distance between the two. The crazy smile was still on Kaishi's face, the adrenaline in his blood keeping all pain unnoticable to his senses. As the girl flew down toward the tanker, and there was at least a meter between the two, Kaishi lifted his hand and formed a seal*

SFX : BOOOM

*The explosive note went off on the girl's hip as Kaishi now began his descent, getting furter and further away from the girl and falling into the water below. Taking a deep breath, he went underwater and used the current of the river to take him east, where the battle will continue*

*Grabbing onto the shore, Kaishi felt the warm sand on his hands. The crazy smile began to fade a bit, as he took a step into the golden desert*

With her left hand racing towards her opponent in an attempt to pierce his throat, Kagirinai Anryoku figured that she was about to end the fight and a boy’s life... and the voice spoke to her, nudging her towards the kill. The voice’s words dripped with hatred and tainted the girl’s mind....

...but the attempted kill was blocked!! Her left hand was shot to the side by Kaishi’s right hand, causing her to stab his left arm instead!! Blood reeked from the wound and poured into the twilight sky... and then with his left hand, Kaishi gently slapped the right-hand side of her hip! In this time, Anry’s right hand and her wakizashi had tensed and was ready to hook around, with the tip ready to pierce into kaishi’s left hand side... but he suddenly pushed off of Anry, thrusting her down towards the water. And the instant he pushed her away, she felt something on her hip. With a sudden flicker, her eyes spotted it.

“(Shit!! An explosive tag!! What do I do?! What do I do?!)”

Panic overtook the girl as she spotted it... but it was in a sudden movement that her right arm jerked by itself. It was being used.... by the voice.

“(You useless child)”

As she was flying away from her opponent, Kaishi was preparing the seal. But while he did that, Anryoku’s right wrist flicked her blade across her own hip... and severed the explosive tag in two halves, as it cut through her own skin. Easily cutting an inch deep into her own skin, it was a painful price to pay to defuse the explosive tag... but it was worth it. The voice had saved her, it seems. Its sudden grip on her consciousness caused Anry’s body to slash straight through the tag (and her skin), which had saved her from losing her hip... and who knows what else?

However, after the close encounter with an explosive death, Anryoku fell to the water. Though she had initially aimed at the tanker, the mid-air collision had altered her path... and thus she fell to the water... And as she dropped in, she could see her opponent still dropping down towards the river, pretty close to where she had landed. When he pushed her down, he had given her some time in the water before him, for he propelled her flight downwards and pushed himself up. The water stung as it entered the deep gash at her side... but she had to move quickly. She took a deep breath and then went underwater to perform her next move, fuelled by the voice. Blood trickled from her side, but she persisted.

“(...Kill... Kill...)”

Underwater, she dropped her kunai and sheathed her wakizashi. She then swam right underneath where kaishi was to land... and while she was swimming, she performed the seals, so she would be ready when she was underneath him...

When Kaishi was about to hit the water... something happened... For underneath him, in the water right below him, Anryoku had used the Shimo Buki jutsu, a jutsu that allows the user to create a weapon of ice... and it could of be any form and size, as long as the user had the chakra to create it. Anryoku had practised creating large weapons with this jutsu, even without a source of water... and here, she had all the water she needed. Channelling a large amount of chakra into the jutsu, Anryoku created a large, sturdy spear of ice the blasted up from the water towards her opponent. It was planned that the tip of the spear would rip from the water when Kaishi was about one and a half meter away from the water. He would not see the spear until it was too late and dodging it in midair was indeed a tough one.

The tip of the spear glistened as it ripped up from the water. Its sharp edges rippled with Neptune’s Glory as the emerald crystal that it was comprised of glimmered with the last droplets of water that ran down it... but soon... soon, it would not be water that dripped down it... it would be something else that tainted the green of the spear.

It's clear without taking any abuse or anything into consideration azure won but we are the judges and we're suppose to look at the abuse and such.

Ok I'm going to go in event order and finally post my decision

Azure #1....Azure isn't suppose to know his opponent is DC. Yet while DC is in henge form azure still knows its him? Mild situation but still an error

Azure #2...The whole bunshin situation. Exploding notes do not make that must disruption unless dirt or some form of powder is laid on top of them. By the time DC goes through it, there should be no way in hell azure can make a bunshin and be able to jump over the edge without being spotted.

Azure #3...DC states 1m. Both were accelled towards one another. Somehow Azure has enough time to Kai explode the note..and move his arm into a position to strike DC's throat....1m would of ment approx ~.3 seconds? DC ended up having to do the same thing to prevent dieing but ended up taking a hit again which was caused by an abuse

Azure #4...DC waited for a stated 1 meter distance between himself and Azure, again 1m is merely ~.5sec max, and yet somehow azure is able to a) find the tag (and in his post he even gets a nervous expression) and b) move her arm in a quick enough movement to cut the tag...Not to mention he would of needed to reposition the blade to be able to cut the tag with ease

Azure #5....Ok DC again clearly states azure is still flying towards the tanker and azure ends up in the water?

Azure #6...While the river may not be a rapid river this is a point made by another judge.
What DOES bother me, is all the moves he supposedly did when getting in the water. The distance between the two wasn't that large to begin with. The explosive tag might have hurled him to the water faster so that takes away the "towards the tanker" for me, but it would still not allow for putting the sword away, swimming to the other point and using the jutsu.

and finally DC called the fight due to he felt it was an inavoidable hit

Now I've been in DC's position and in this tourament had it happen once already. DC abused once to prevent a death in which made sense. Azure's whole set up revolved around one abuse after another. We're all genin (Except for sol and dale), we don't have jounin speed or anything. Yes DC could of done some shitty escape but he refuses to do so.

Thus in the end the winner is DC by a 4-0 vote.
