*nods* I had exactly the same problem, but I managed to solve it.
Use your Windows Movie Maker...if you haven't already got it, just go to Windows update and get it from there...it's a freebie.

Import the episodes into it and there you go you can take screen shots until you drop.
You only have a choice of 2 sizes, but they are pretty decent and the images are crystal clear.
(depending on how clear the episodes are of course)

Been doing a lot of it lately, just have to find the motivation to put them all into my site ~_~

The pictures its making are only thumbnails, I need some bigger screenshots, like the actual video size. Any ideas?

Thumb Nail size?
You are doing something wrong then.
Just try to drag the preview screen across...told you before you had several sizes to choose from.

This is a screen shot I took with Movie Maker:

Doesn't look like a thumb to me.

but try doing it with a Naruto episode. It wont let you get the big pic.

Well, Blue I don't know why you too have a problem there, I just picked a random episode I still had on my drive and took a screen shot from it.

It came out ok..here it is:

As I explained at the beginning of the thread, I import the episodes into the Windows Movie maker and take the shots from there.

Just have a look in your start up menue.
The windows update usually install the programs automatically.

Click on:
Start
All Programms
Accessories
Entertainment

..and there you should see the movie maker. :)
