any body have theories on how either of the elrics will survive?

I bet all will get over his tremor like last time, when he halucinated of himself.

I bet all will get over his tremor like last time, when he halucinated of himself.

Ed: no idea. this could get interesting.

Al will die if Ed dies, the only people I can think of who would be able to save Ed right now are Marcoh and the Xing girl, those too are the only people we've seen with healing powers. But they are far away, should be interesting, and what will Kimbley do now with Ed out of the way and only soldiers with guns to stop him :p.

but there are 3 things wrong with this scenario.
1. didn't kimbley bring down the mine shaft, while he was there; so shouldn't he be buried aswell? (we didn't see if he excaped or survived at the end of the chapter.)

2. didn't kimbley have orders to keep ed and al alive?

3.if they both die, then the who will father/homunculus use in his new philosoper's stone transmuation?
(and what will the story be about? I doubt the story could go on with both of the main characters dead...)

Well obviously ed has to survive somehow, but Kimbley has shown in the past that he doesn't obey orders, and he isn't a homunculis so he really doesn't care what Father wants. Since the explosion was Kimbley's idea I doubt he got himself killed, and he has the philosopher's stone so he's pretty much capable of anything right now.
