Kabuto VS Kakashi

Since Kakashi and Kabuto are both discused vs Hiashi, what about if they fought.
I'm going Kabuto.. He's awsome, and those medical ninjutu's, one hit you dead.
On the other hand, we haven't seen much Kakashi. 1000 Jutsu's is ALOT. Well, Vote and discuss. (No arguments Yondaime and Ninetails.. lol, last time you both ended up in someones belly!)

okay, in the manga, kabutos attack on tsunade didn't do as much damage to her because of her massive breasts. Something that the anime did not really explain about. So if Kakashi grew breasts, an attack on the chest would'nt do as much cause he's got something protecting his lungs and ateries

You only need one good shot w/ Chidori also for the match to be over. I would have to go w/ Kakashi 1 vs 1. Sharingan can predict jutsus and movements and I think this gives Kakashi the edge.

I strongly disagree w/ this. Even though I voted for Kakashi, I think the intelligence of Kabuto will be a very good match for Kakashi. Sharingan has weaknesses. Kabuto probably knows this and he could take advantage of them. For example, if Kabuto uses his underground techniques, Sharingan becomes almost useless while Kabuto is underground. Very even match overall but a slight edge to Kakashi.

Kakashi will definatly win, afterall kakshi is a genius. He has never lost a battle. his nickname is known all over the world as the copy-ninja. Kakashi has his sharingan so he can see kabuto's moves and predict what he can do, maybe even copy the same move.

plus Kakashi has way more experience then kabuto, kakashi was a chunin at the age of 8(?). He has been fighting ever since. while kabuto is 18 and only has been spy-ing in konoha and he has done nothing more then that. All kabuto has is his medical jutsu's.

Okay....im going with Kakashi.

Healing jutsus, as we've seen, kick butt. However. I think that Kakashi's attacks are too much for Kabuto to handle. If Kakashi manages to stay away from Kabuto's hands and smacks him with a long ranged attack, it could be bad for Kabuto. Plus the sharingan. I know Kabuto is fast, but so is Kakashi. Most of Kabuto's attacks seem to need close contact, but Kakashi knows a whole variety of attacks so he could hit him from far and up close.

If Kabuto managed to keep Kakashi still, it would probably be over, though. I don't know how many times Kakashi can get his nervous center messed up or whatever Kabuto can do before he's done. But i still think Kakashi would win.

Kakashi has jutsu's, but so does Kabuto. this would be a very close fight, and I doubt we will find a definitive answer.
Medical Jutsu's could surprise Kakashi, and as we have only seen Tsunade and Kabuto using them I think they are somewhat more unique.
Not to mention kabuto tricked Kakashi in the hospital.
Kakashi is an overrated character strengthwise.
He's cool and a super genius at a young age, but I think he's met a max level, that will be very challenging to overcome. (Though he will)

Actually people grow complacent during a time of peace. When you are not on high alert and always ready for action, you will never be as well-prepared as if you were in a time of war.

Kakashi's body was most likely stronger back than because he was actively participating in Anbu missions and A-class missions. However, now he is role has been reduced more to babysitting genins during a time of peace.

A person will not necessarily aim to get stronger if there is no purpose in doing such.

Orochimaru also commented that the the village had grown weaker due to the time of peace.

naruto hit him with a rasengan and kabuto lived, but he was unable to fight afterwards, kakashi was able to beat zabuza and he is obviously stronger than most of the leaf jounin we have seen. He told asuma and kurinai to fight kisame (think thats the name of the shark guy) and fought Itachi alone which says somthing about his skill. Then there is the thing that Kakashi has over 1000 jutsu's mastered he also has the sharingan which lets him see through Kabuto's plans and Jutsu's, also theoretically he can tell where to hit Kabuto with the Chidori for maximum effect so it would negate Kabuto's regeneration technique. The only reason that Kabuto doesn't have Jounin/Chunnin title is because he purposely fail all the time (7 times) so that he can be the spy. This does not indicate that he is weaker than Jounin.

Beside he got hit by Rasengan and he was till alive; assuming that Chidori is less advance than Rasengan (used by the fourth and Jiraiya) then Kabuto should be able to take on Chidori as well.

Kakashi can only use Chidori 4 times a day and exhaust all of his Chakra. If Kabuto can regenerate 4 times then he can take on Kakashi easily.

The Rasengan of Naruto is weaker than Kakashi's Chidori right now because Naruto has not mastered Rasengan at this moment.

Even more, Kakashi does not depend on chidori because he has sharingan and know over 1000 jutsus and has a great talent. And by the way, Kabuto is still alive after suffering the rasengan but his state was not very good after the hit...

It's true that many times is stated that kabuto has same level as kakashi but kabuto himself recognizes that he is not good at taijutsu...

I think kabuto will not be able to defeat kakashi simply healing himself continuosly because he will be out of chakra very soon.

i've actually never posted in this or similar threads, because i can't make my mind up. the sharingan will give an obvious advantage, because a lot of what we've seen from kabuto is still hand-to-hand. and most genjutsus will be useless too.

however, who knows what kabuto can still do (that goes for kakashi too), and the former may have more pills and such. more imptly, kabuto can heal, so i'm not sure a chidori (or even 4) will stop him.

both have also extensively studied knowledge of their opponents (kakashi with the bingo book, kabuto with his own card system) so they will know a lot of each other's weaknesses / strengths. altho kabuto still hasnt revealed much to kakashi (running away prev). of course, no one really knows the entire library of jutsus kakashi knows either.

i'll give kakashi the edge, because of the sharingan, but i'm sure it'll be quite an even match.

I agree w/ skyz and have mentioned something very similar in the first thread that exists for Kabuto vs Kakashi.

Kabuto is extremely smart and adapts super quickly to situations around him...like when he adjusted to Tsunade's nerve attack. Kabuto also has his underground attacks. Sharingan is almost rendered usuless if Kabuto stays underground for most of the battle. This a battle that is very close to call but Kakashi still does have the sharingan.

It might just be me, but, don't you think that Kakashi getting taken out of the show, by say a certain evil guy, might spring up more episodes and raise the stakes that much higher? Perfect plot twist, one that apparently only 9 of 22 poeple would have though of. so, not only is this a matter of how strong they soposedly are, but also, how the writer wants to get our emotions going and wanting to watch more. So, seriously, id have to side with the bad guy for this one...kakashi can't be immortal in this show, he will be taken out eventauly.

Yah but we didn't really see kakashi do much fighting in the series, we saw kabuto at chunnin exams, he didn't do that much during the oco attack on konoha and we also saw him fighting against the sanins. When did we see kakashi fight? pretty much only against zabuza and against itachi (not much of a fight) so we don't know how talented kakashi is. I give credit to kabuto though, he did held up pretty well against the new 5th hokage but only because he knew her weakness which was a factor at the time. It should be a good battle though, their considered to be equal level or around that anyways, i think it could go either way.

Kakashi was in serious trouble against Zabuza. Zabuza is strong but no where close to Kabuto. Kabuto was in control of the battle versus Tsunade. Tsunade fell into Kabuto's strategy and tactics and she has no one to blame but herself. Kabuto had his trump card against Tsunade but only used it when another Sannin (Jiraiya) showed up. Kabuto fared much better against a ninja that is supposedly much stronger than him. Kakashi didn't fare so well against a ninja that I consider much weaker Kakashi overall.

The thing is Rasengan doesn't need to hit the organ to damage to organs. Rasengan also does damage to multiple organs at once. Chidori has to hit a vital organ to achieve the same result which is much more difficult. That's why Hyuuga's gentle fist is so effective. It delievers "death damage" (for Hiashi anyways) without the time needed to create the rasengan and can be delivered at all and every time they strike. Not flashy but just damn effective.

oh but people have been walking around with a lot of things sticking through their bodies, ie zabuza, the third, tsunade... true, the first two died eventually, but they stuck around long enough to do more damage. it didn't seem to take a lot of effort for kabuto to pull off the medical scalpel at all.

i also think he focused his chakra to *block* the rasengan, at least thats what it said on my manga translation. i thought he could block a chidori too, like how the chidori didn't cut through haku. (ok but there was a lot of argument over why this was, heh)

so i'm saying it wouldn't be hard for kabuto to pull off a double k.o. in that situation...

Chidori cuts thruough "everything" even lightning. Even though Kabuto minimized the damage done by Rasengan by concentrating his regeneration jutsu where Rasengan made contact with him, I don't think that is enough to prevent the penetration of a chidori thrust.

Hyuuga would have to spin or dodge the chidori. The spin would have to be there so that the "blade portion" of the chidori hand passes through the chakra tornado but not reach the Kaiten user. Once the "non-blade" portion of the arm of Kakashi/Sasuke reaches the tornado, Kaiten wins.

Chidori does have "explosion qualities" but it is a reaction to something. I have never seen Kakashi or Sasuke being able to purposely create an explosion using chidori.

I think the seals done for chidori transforms the chakra gathered to take on the state like that of the light sabre. Kyubi strike and Rasengan doesn't have seals thus acts differently from Chidori imo.

I think that Chidori can actually go through Kaiten...
It has such a mass amount of Charkra that even Kaiten cant block it. But I really think that it depends on who is using Chidori.Remember when Kakashi used Chidori on Haku.It was WAAY bloodier than when Sasuke did it to Gaara...though Gaara had it weakened a little cause the sand helped it make less impact.I mean,Chidori probably didnt go through that sand without pressure.

I already said Chidori will penetrate Kaiten. The thing is chidori has "light sabre qualities" only in the hand that chakra is concentrated in. Once Chidori penetrates Kaiten past the hand to his forearm, the spinning whirl of chakra will take hold of the arm and Sasuke/Kakashi would get caught up in the "tornado".

i don't know what light sabre qualities are, but i'm hazarding the guess, that the way the chidori leaks out, as you have pointed out previously, suggests that it doesn't have these qualities?

i thought the seals might be to help for the drawing and storing of chakra into the hand, rather than transforming the state of the chakra. but don't really know!

What I meant by "light sabre qualities" is that the hand where chakra is gathered for chidori, can penetrate anything like the Star Wars light sabres. The fact that some of the chakra gathered there "leaks out" doesn't mean that chakra didn't change states. This is purely my interpretation of Chidori but makes logical sense to me that the seals done for Chidori would change the state of the chakra so that it becomes "blade" like.

Itachi uses his sharingan much better than Kakashi. No comparison.

I don't think Kakashi is much wiser than Kabuto if he is at all. Kabuto is the one that dictated his match against Tsunade. Kabuto has the uncanny ability to adapt to specific situations also. Good example is when Kabuto figured out a way to fight when he was hit by Tsunade's nerve strike. He was able to fight under that condition!...pretty amazing imo.

A valid point, but maybe we havn't seen enough of 1 on 1 action with Kakashi, Zabusa's fight was the only time we really got to see it, and he's nothing close to a Sannin.

I believe we have seen more of Kakashi in action than Kabuto. Also, it is more impressive to "beat" a Sannin than Zabuza.

The times I recall seeing Kakashi in combat were with Zabusa, when Konoha went under fire, and with Itachi. The Itachi fight only lasted one episode, we definately have not seen enough of Kakashi fight with his full potential, but we've seen him enough where we know how strong he is.

And yes, it definately is more impressive to beat a sannin than zabusa, I'd like to see Kakashi fight Orochimaru haha, I think he'd get crushed tho if Orochimaru had working arms.

I really can't answer these questions except w/ further speculations since it was my speculation to begin w/ anway...but it is a possible explanation for why chidori act differently than Rasengan.

I think chidori user's hand is harmed like the burning of Rasengan user's hand. When Sasuke charged Itachi using chidori, Sasuke's skin on his hand is peeling off.

cons-sharingan is imperfect and takes a lot of chakra to maintain, out of shape, chidori takes a lot of chakra (if used in conjunction with sharingan chakra is drained considerably)

kabuto-
pros-a possible bloodline, medical jutsus, assortment of medical pills, genius

cons-weak taijutsu, regenerative jutsu takes a lot of chakra if damage is too extensive, glasses make him look nerdy



i cant say which one is better just quite yet i need to kno if kabuto has a bloodline or not and if he does have one what does it do.

Even though orochimaru said that kabuto said he was as strong as kakashi he would'nt be able to beat him. Kakashi has way more and better jutsus than kabuto even if kabuto is a medic.

Kakashi is just flat-out good. He shows almost no flaw when fighting cuz he's always on guard and more modest as opposed to Kabuto when he underestimated Naruto during the three legendary Sannin battle. Kabuto is just too young and hasn't gained as much experience compared to Kakshi, but when he grows up he MAY be able to exceed Kakashi's current power I think...

i agree with most of that. there have been many hints on kabuto having a lot of jutsus. but i wouldnt kno if kabuto would beat kakashi. i havent sen enough yet.

So I say Kabuto takes the fight... because I believe that when Oro said that Kabuto and Kakashi are the same level more or less he doesn't know a thing about Kabuto's bloodline. (a hint of a proof is the episode where kabuto fights tsunade/naruto/shizune and says that Oro favors him not for his strength or cunningnes but for his ability to regenerate. if Oro would have know of the blood line abilities Kabuto would have mentioned that as well).

When was a medical technique considered a bloodline? Regeneration ability of Kabuto was a technique as I understood it. Since he knows medical jutsus, Kabuto was able to figure out how to concentrate that ability to specific body parts of his choosing. It was never mentioned as a bloodline.

the medical technique isnt his bloodline....but he does in fact have a bloodline(oro says something about his "bad blood" or something like that and when he gets "injured" in the forest his eyes go all blood red but he controlls it so my interpretation from all the clues is that he has a bloodline...even if they havent flat out said "hi i'm kabuto, i have a bloodline."[that was for all the anal retentive people about to jump down my throat oh my got! HOW DO YOU KNOW!!11!!!one!!1]). it just hasnt been shown yet.

Well it is at best a speculation now then. No concrete evidence has been shown yet in the anime that Kabuto owns a bloodline.

if you are telling us this before more information is revealed to us in the anime...you know what that is. Unless you are spoiling, it can only be speculation at this point. The clues you mentioned (I remember them also) isn't nearly enough to say Kabuto owns a bloodline yet.

That part about "blood" can be interpreted differently as Lukasz mentioned (I interpreted it the same as Lukasz too). Also, I interpreted the "injury" in the forest of death (the facial expression change when Kabuto got hit) as to providing clues as to the real identity of Kabuto (at that time we didn't know for sure if Kabuto was a spy for the Sound). What do these have to do w/ Kabuto owning a bloodline?

D's "educated guesses" haven't convinced me at all about Kabuto owning a bloodline yet. Unless you can mention anything better from previous episodes, I still see no reason to believe Kabuto owning a bloodline. So far there isn't one concrete evidence that supports this "bloodline" for Kabuto.

I just spent 15min looking that scene up and i have to say that that doesn't prove a thing about him having a bloodline, may in the future, but I think it's a technique he uses.

As to who woud win between the two, I recon Kabuto, he might not have as many Jutsus, but Kabuto has moves made to kill, if only he would fight more serious.
