this movie takes place after G.i.t.S. S.A.C. 2..I had never heard of it.

Genres: Mecha, Military, Mystery, Police, Science Fiction, Shounen
Plot Summary: A.D. 2034. It has been two years since Motoko Kusanagi left Section 9. Togusa is now the new leader of the team, that has considerably increased its appointed personnel. The expanded new Section 9 confronts a rash of complicated incidents, and investigations reveal that an ultra-wizard hacker nicknamed the "Puppet Master" is behind the entire series of events.

Its subbed by blitz, but you have to actually sign up to use their tracker

I had never heard of it, or seen a discussion. Blitz just released their subbed version less than a week ago...I assumed it was new, lol!

It was aired in Japan in June 2006 as far as i know, and in December a RAW was online, followed by a subbed version a short time afterwards. But never mind. I never saw a discussion on this Forum either. SAC is my favourite anime and i *adore* Motoko Kusanagi :D. By the way GitS universe isn`t dead there will be more in the future.
