The door slowly opened. For a moment, nothing happened, when suddenly a head slowly popped into the room. Nazo’s eyes saw a sight he’d rather not see. He closed the door again and went to look for an instructor.

”Excuse me sir, there seems to be a mistake. I’m supposed to fight in arena 10 and there’s nothing there. It’s just an empty room”

Kotetsu: Aren’t you that hoodlum I told to stop running?

”Yes sir” Nazo said hesitantly while pulling on the headband around his neck (darn, Tairaki put it on too tight).

Kotetsu glared at him and then fiddled through a stack of papers. “You’re going to fight Yuki Taihen in arena 10 and that’s indeed the empty chamber. That’s the arena, so get going!”

(grmbl, friggin cheap skates, probably didn’t want to spend any money to build a REAL arena…)

Nazo returned to the now familiar wooden door, which he opened again, as he entered the arena.

He looked around for any possible aid in this battle. Sighing like seven pregnant women giving birth, he found nothing that could benefit him in this upcoming fight. (White walls, white ceiling, white floor….I feel like I’m in an asylum… Where’s my straightjacket)

Because there was no sign of his opponent yet, Nazo sat down in the corner of the room, with a clear view of the door. He brought his left leg close to his body, while the other remained stretched on the floor. He clamped his left leg with both his hands, and started to wiggle from front to back, while yelling “pretty bird! PRETTY BIRD! GNA GNA PRETTY BIRD!”

Suddenly, the door was pushed open.


The pouch with herbs and seeds from his mother (containing two herbs at the moment: myrrh and woundwort)

OoC: added the inventory separately, as it didn’t really tie in with the thing I wrote :-)

--As Taihen walks towards the room in which his first fight would take place, a god awful sound comes from the door.--

Taihen: ...does he plan on making me go crazy to win

--Wrapping the chain from his gauntlet around his right arm, the metal resolidifies into a forearm protection as he opens the door.--

Taihen: So it's only us two, no introductions let's just get this over with.

--Standing on the opposite side of the room, Taihen's left hand grabs ahold of his right arm as he prepares for his fight.--

Blade wrapped around waist that appears to be a belt and gauntlets with chain around right hand and arm

Nazo noticed that his opponent was not beating around the bush, straight to the point. He immediately stopped his playful rant in the corner, tried adjusting the headband around his neck again and stood up, walking a little bit towards his opponent, while having his hands in his pockets.

”No pleasantries apparently. Fine, I can live with that, it’s the fight we’re here for anyway.”

Nazo took his hands out of his pockets. “Sorry, let me adjust this headband for a bit, it’s annoying the crap out of me.” He puts every finger except his thumb into the upper side of his headband – containing the plaques of both his current village as the village from his father, offering him throat protection front and back – in an attempt to loosen the headband. He did the same for the back of his neck.

Nazo bowed through his knees, to loosen his joints and then rummaged through his pockets, before grabbing two kunai – one in each hand.
“Sorry about that, I’m ready now.”

(He seems to have some sort of metal protection around both arms. That’ll give him an edge in close combat. Let’s just see what he does for now.)

Nazo took a defensive stance as he bent slightly through his legs and raised both his arms, holding both kunai by their hilt, keeping them horizontally to protect his wrists, with the right hand some 20 centimetres above the left hand. Both hands protected vital areas, with the lower hand protecting the heart region, while the other protected the throat.

Hmmm

When trying to loosen the headband around his neck, he put a metsubishi behind him, lodged between his neck and the headband, out of sight.

OoC: metal is only on right hand, basicly fingers to elbow but still flexable. On other note, azure says the room is suppose to be 10x10, do you wish for this change to go into effect immediatly or after our fight?

--As Nazo begun to fumble with his headband, Taihen knew this was the perfect chance.--

Taihen (thinking): Never break your focus in a fight

--Immediatly breaking into a sprint while taking his left hand and grabbing what appared to be his waist, it only took a few steps to get into range as Nazo begun to bend his knees to loosen his joints.--

--As Taihen's wrist snaps back out from his waist, a longg metal blade comes streaming out from his belt. Locking his wrist into place, the fight was already over as it started. The blade came to a holt completly straightend merely a inch from Nazo's throat as Nazo's hands were in his pockets.--

Taihen: If you so much as move, this blade will give you a new breathing hole

OoC: A tip for you as you are new. Be careful how much time you spend in each post. Calling a judge now as all it takes is a snap of my wrist and your underthroat is slit

Ok... well, personally, i wanted Pap to try and evade (i think it is do-able), but he claims he doesnt want to drag this out... so, that would make the winner...
