Here's where the fights in Arena 5 will take place.

Arena 5: Cityscape
Size: 400m x 400m
Type: City
Description: A huge arena, filled with lots of buildings. There are office blocks, houses and even the Konoha Shopping Mall. Shinobi can fight in any of these buildings. this battle takes place at night, meaning a slight decrease in visibility, though there are lights within most buildings. There is also a lake. Use items, furniture, terrain and structures to your advantage.

*Feeling refreshed from his battle with Raido Asurna, Makoto was amped for his next fight. While walking the streets looking at a map of his next arena he made an astonishing discovery.*

Makoto: Damnnnn...this arena is big. I hope Neo Raga can find me in this gigantic arena!!!

*As Makoto continued to walk towards the middle of the battlefield, he stopped at the entrance to the Konoha Mall and awaited the arrival of his opponent. Going over his inventory for this battle.*

Makoto: (Ok...what do I have here?)Forehead Protector(Sunagakure)

Makoto: (Seems in order...now where is Neo Raga???)

While waiting for his opponent, Makoto created a bunshin to stand at the entrance while the real Makoto traveled to the roof of the Konoha Mall to oversee the events that were to take place. While watching from above Makoto pulled out two kunai and created a second bunshin of himself holding two kunai. The real Makoto then wrapped an exploding tag on each kunai and began to wait for Neo to arrive

Neo was nervous and excited. Today was his first fight with a fellow shinobi. He had no equipments to take in the battle except his Guitar. He put his strapped guitar on the left shoulder.

Neo was wearing black jacket and black jeans. Moonlight made his guitar shine as he looked at the map of the huge fighting arena.

Neo knew that Makoto was from sand clan, so Neo thought, the best way to fight this opponent would be near the lake.

Neo was seating beside the lake. He realised that if he wants Makoto to come to the lake, he must play his music very loudly.

Smooth and blasting sound started to come out of Neo's guitar as he set in front of the lake.

OOC: NP man.. PVP requires a lot of thinking.. I am also tired and thats why my post would seem kinda sucky..and if u have any doubts just PM me..

*Still waiting for for Neo to show up Makoto began to lose his patience.*

Makoto: (Where the hell is he...what the...whats that sound?)

*In the air beyond the some houses, the sounds of a guitar was heard next to the lake. Makoto feeling dumbfounded, trashed his first strategic plan and began to follow the entertaining sounds of the instrument. As he distanced himself from the entrance of Konoha Mall, Makoto crossed straight thru the residential area.*
As Makoto walked between the space of two houses he planted five explosive notes in a strategic pattern. One on the floor covered with dirt, one on the lower halves of each house(one infront of the hidden note on the ground and one behind it), and one more on each of the upper halves of the houses on the right and left incase Neo jumped in the air to dodge the lower explosions.
*As Makoto exited the housing area of Konoha he happened upon the lake with a shadowy figure infront of it playing a tune. Wanting to start this party off right, Makoto reached into his right leg kunai holster and pulled out a sharp object. As Makoto began to raise the kunai that was gripped tightly in his right hand, he began to dash towards the musically inclined shinobi. When Makoto's right hand hovered over his left shoulder, Makoto released the kunai forward at the guitar to get the strange genin's attention, and so he could also silence all of the raucus for the only sound that Makoto wanted to hear was the sweet sound of victory. As the kunai flew towards it's destination Makoto reached his hands behind him into his pouch and pulled out his tekkos, preparing himself for an epic battle.*

OOC: Ready or not...here I come!!!

As Neo kept on playing his guitar and looking around for his opponent to come, he thought he heard someone coming. Just to check he turns around quickly sees that; his opponent was not already there, but Makoto was racing towards him. Makoto was atleast 10 m - 15 m away from Neo and just then....

Makoto had fired a Kunai directly at Neo. Seeing this, Neo got up really quickly and with a flow of nervousness growing inside his heart, he moulded chakra into his feet. Neo quickly jumped backwards just incase the Kunai has explosive tag attached to it. Then, Neo with all his might started running backwards on the silvery lake, as Makoto was running at him.

Beofore, Neo starts running on the lake (backwards) he fires three needles; one after another, three of them aimed at Makoto's right,left and middle parts.

Neo is going to keep on running the lake until he is on the other side of the lake.. and three needles are aimed at left arm, heart and right arm...

[Irv]

*As Makoto observed Neo hop backwards dodging the incoming attack, the nervous looking shinobi fired off three needles from his guitar, one after the other.*

Makoto: (Hmmm...a quick one this Neo Raga is, but now to handle this obstacle in my way...I wonder why he is taking this fight to the lake though?)

*As he approached what would seem to be a kamikaze style collision course, Makoto focused a minuscule amount of chakra to the soles of both of his feet. While the chakra accumulated in his feet Makoto began a countdown in his head, preparing himself for a daring escape from harm.*

Makoto: (Three........Two........One......Jump!)

*At the speed that the young genin was traveling and with the help of the added chakra, Makoto was propelled upward at a 45 degree angle infront of him completing two somersaults over the three needles. As he placed his feet back on solid ground his knees bent to reduce the shock of the jump and Makoto was off again, continuing his sprint towards Neo.*

Makoto: (Damn water...let me cover my eyes for my next plan seeing as I will catch up to him in no time.)

*Makoto's solid ground run was cut short as the lake's unstable surface reered it's ugly head. Makoto concentrated his chakra towards his soles once more as he placed his left foot upon the water. Remembering his water training, Makoto constantly exerted chakra from hs feet to keep himself afloat and began to place his right foot infront of his left during his chase. While gripping his tekkos in his hands, he began to reach for his goggles and put them over his eyes to protect them from the water amongst other things. Taking advantage of Neo's backwards running compared to his own forward sprint, Makoto caught up with the evasive shinobi. Preparing for an attack Makoto relized that the guitar is the main weapon of Neo Raga, so he needed to take out the guitar or something else. Makoto readied his left hand for a slicing strike to Neo's right shoulder to stop the use of Neo's right arm, while he fondled in his pouch with his right hand.*
Hidden in his right palm was a metsubishi
*As soon as Makoto's left hand begun its assualt upon Neo's right shoulder, Makoto readied his right hand for a vicious blow to Neo's face. All of a sudden Makoto's right hand stopped short releasing a powdery concoction towards Neo's face instead.*

Makoto: (I wonder what you're gonna do now...either dodge the shoulder attack or dodge the powder...either way you will be in a world of hurt!)

[Eyeshield 21]

Neo is running backwards with all his speed on the silvery,calm but somewhat unblanced waters. While running backwards, Neo sees that his opponent had dodged his three needles by jumping in the air and taking advantage of his speed. The speed at which Makoto is runnig surprises Neo and makes him nervous. That gray eyed shinobi might catch up to me and my plan may not work like I had expected to., thinks Neo. So Neo quickly thinks up of another plan.

Makoto has now started running on the lake, just then, Neo stops and quickly takes of his guitar. He smacks his guitar on the moon reflecting water with all his might. Just before the black haired shinobi catches up to him (distance between them being around 6 feet) , the water beneth him comes up and makes a water wall in between the black haired shinobi and him. His opponent must have felt that Neo's height is lessening for a second, but he is still standing.

Before the water wall rises completely, Neo stops molding the chakra in his feet, and starts plunging in the deep waters of lake. He replaces himslef with his bunshin that is going to be crushed by the opponent on the water. Neo sees his opponent attacking his bunshin just as he submerges himself.

Neo quickly swims under the deep waters trying to make a distance between him and Makoto of atleast of 12 feet. And when the distance is about that. His gets on top of the lake just to take a deep breath and look where Makoto is standing.

He quickly takes his guitar out on the water, and with his guitar on the water surface he fires 1.2.3.4.5.6 (I learned this from Neji11 :D) needles with blazing guitar sounds. These needles are not very accurately aimed as Neo quickly goes down the deep waters after taking a deep breath.

Needles are aimed in 2 horizontol lines of three... So out of these two rows of needles, one will be aimed at upper part of the body and the second row in the middle part. The distance between each needle is around 1 feet (not diagonally of course.).

OOC: I have decided I am not going to change or modify my post .. Let the judges decide.. if u want to continue fighting lets.. and if not..

*The fight continued like this with Makoto going out with all his strength to beat Neo. *

* Neo was also loosing his strength, but didnt know what to do next except come face to face directly with Makoto.*

When Neo and Makoto were face to face, Neo suddenly realised that he had to go (where? dont ask..). He didnt know what to do next, but to ask his opponent's permission for a draw and leave.

Neo and Makoto were running at each other, just then Neo screamed..

Neo: Makoto-kun, I really must go now.. Can you accept a draw? We can fight later..

Makoto was shocked to hear this, he didnt know what to do. He thought about it. He thought that his opponent couldnt possibly be one of those who are affraid of defeat.

Neo: Makoto-kun, what are you thinking?

Makoto: Ok, but next time.. I will get you..


A TIE

[Azure Wrath]

This fight has been called a tie by both of the participants. Thus, the fight is called.... a tie!

*Nighttime. Shutsuga entered his arena from the northwest entrance, gazing at the full moon. The gates had been re-closed upon his entry; dead silence overtook the land. Before him stood tall, empty houses. Trash was littered on the streets, trashcans were tipped over on sidewalks and lawns, but the houses were untouched. He walked silently down the road a few meters before halting at the corner.*

Shutsuga: Bunshin no jutsu.

*Shutsuga produced one clone. Oddly enough it felt like it drained more out of him then usual. One of them stayed walking in the streets, while the other hopped from rooftop to rooftop, crouching low in the shadows to avoid being caught. The battle had begun.*

Echi approached the south south west gate, two men stood guard. He walked upto them and flashed his pass, they looked over him carefully and turned back to the massive gate.

Echi: Hey, You guys want to let me in?

The gates opened infront of Echi, a cool gust of air blew past him as he looked in on the dead city. The houses and structures seemed frozen in time, the city seemed completely lifeless. He began walking into the city, passing under the gate.

Echi: (Well, guess I'll have to spark some excitement.)

The gates closed behind him, the loud thud from the door echoed off into the darkness. There was something not right about the air here. Echi walked forward down the street, turning right onto the next one. He was surrounded by towering lifeless buildings and the wind seemed to carry a chill with it. He took shelter under an awning and layed out his equipment for inspection.


5 Explosive arrows, 10 metal arrows, 3 kunai, 1 smoke bomb, 1 chakra pill, 1 soldier pill, 5 exploding notes, 10 feet of wire, tent, bow, quiver.

Echi: (I don't know if i will need all of this but...)

Happy with his equipment, Echi packed everything back up after making a quick alteration to his tent. He was ready now, he began walking east along the road in search of his opponent.


Tent was cut into two sections of cloth that were tied together in a double-diamond shape (<><>) and an explosive note was placed in the center of both diamonds.

*Both Shutsugas had been traveling for several minutes to the south without any sign of his opponent. The night air was beginning to send chills throughout his body. So far, he had not seen any sign of life, which was both a relief and yet terrifying at the same time. He knew there was a few things he could do if he were put into a tight situation in order to escape peril. The boy took more necessary precaution in case his opponent was tougher than he expected.*


*Shutsuga wrapped an exploding tag around one of his kunai, then again with another so he had two kunai wrapped in two different exploding tags.*

*Both Shutsugas continued south along the road. He was eagerly searching for his opponent.*

Echi continued walking alone in the darkness, his eyes kept wandering up towards the moon.He turned to his left at the next intersection, more office buildings towered over him giving him the feeling he would'nt be able to escape. He bit down on his lip, the blood came easier this time. The warm metalic taste calmed him and gave him more focus.

As Echi came to another corner, he began feeling as though he were lost. He turned to his left and continued down the street. His shadow stretched out infront of him on the ground, the moons light to his back. The figure on the ground seemed as though it were moving differently than himself. Echi turned to his right at the next intersection, a shimmering blue surface caught his eyes.

Echi: (The lake, that would be a good location.)

Echi's grip tightened around the handle of his bow as he made his way out of the buildings towards the lake. The moons light glinted off the surface, giving the lake a shimmering golden appearance. He stood at the edge of the lake and looked around for any signs of life.

Echi: (I'm sure he will show up here eventually... Lets get ready)


Echi is tying one of his kunai's to 5 feet of wire and tying it to his right middle finger.

*Shutsuga sighed. He still had not found the location of his opponent, and was beginning to think he was either extremely unlucky or his opponent was a no-show. There was a left turn coming up ahead. He checked it out and noticed a crystal clear blue lake shining from the moonlight. Shutsuga 1 took the left turn and walked down the street, while Shutsuga 2 still tailed him from behind in the shadows, careful to not alert anybody to his presence. Both of them suddenly noticed there was a figure standing south of them.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: That must be him.

*Shutsuga 1 began walking south towards his opponent. Shutsuga 2 hid himself against the shadows of a tall office building.

Echi was still looking around for any sign of an opponent. He turned and began scanning across the lake, and caught sight of a dark silhouette approaching him. He squint his eyes and focused intently on the figure across the lake from him. Echi had two choices, attack and hope for the best, or wait out his opponent.

Echi: (Last time I waited, this time...)

Echi's left hand dropped to his side and he reached back into his quiver with his right hand. Twirling the arrow between his index middle and thumb he checked its balance. His arrow felt slightly top heavy and he adjusted his arrows position to be slightly lower on his bow than normal. The wind was comming across the water to his right, more adjustments.

Echi: (Just eyeing the range... I'de never hit from here)

Echi held the tip of his bow with his left index finger and formed a seal with his right hand. Chakra began to flow to his feet, he stepped forward onto the water's surface carefully adjusting his chakra flow. The water rose around his feet and slid up the sides of his boots as he began walking towards the figure, ligning up his aim to counter the wind, range and a topheavyness of his arrow.

Echi: (Whats wrong... my bow seems to have less pull than normal, about half. Not only that, but it feels like I can't bring up as much chakra as usual.)


Explosive arrow -

OOC: I haven't been peaking, don't worry.

*Shutsuga 1 walked slowly south still. Both of them noticed their opponents movements from the ground to the water. He noticed his opponent draw something from behind him, though he could not tell what until he noticed a strange, arc shaped weapon wrapped in his hands. He thought it was a bow, but could not be sure.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: A bow huh? Ranged type then...I'll have to be careful.

*Shutsuga 2 was hunched around the corner of the building, still eyeing everything from the shadows. Luckily for him, the moonlight did not shine anywhere near him and only cast its dazzling light on the water. There was an abandoned metal trash can next to him giving off a horrific smell that nearly gagged him. He waited to see his opponents next move from the lake water. The boy fingered something in his pocket that he had made earlier.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: And now we play the waiting game.

[MrUseless]

OOC: not saying you were! Just like to put that anyways >.<

Echi stopped in the middle of the lake, the light reflecting off the water illuminated his frame, casting a dark shadow over his face. Echi's stance changed slightly, his left foot slid forward while his right slid farther back. His feet stabilized under him and he took aim at the silhouette by the edge of the water.

Echi: (Wind... Check.)

He edged his bow to the left slighty, and lifted the tip of his arrow with his left index finger.

Echi: (Range... Check.)

He drew farther back on his bow, his breathing suddenly slowed down. He breathed in deeply, then let out a slow constant breathe as he made the final adjustment and released the arrow from his grip. The arrow zipped from the string and Echi burst into a full sprint across the water following his arrow.

SFX: Boom

A flash of light, smoke and rock filled the air where the arrow struck. Echi continued sprinting across the surface of the water towards the explosion.

*Shutsuga watched his opponent prepare his attack and send his arrow soaring through the air. Much to his surprise, there was a large explosion when it hit. Instinctively, he drew one of his kunai with the exploding tag on it from his pouch. When he looked back to the scene his opponent had begun to run towards the sight of his explosion. Shutsuga took aim with his kunai then peeked over the corner and tossed it towards the front the large cloud of smoke that his opponent was heading towards. His calculations said that the kunai would reach the cloud of smoke at the same moment his opponent would!*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: I need to hurry.

*Shutsuga then looked to his left and noticed the metal trashcan. He took off the lid, which was surprisingly light, stuck his left arm through the top creating a shield, and ducked into the shadows near the front of the office building.*

*Meanwhile, as Shutsuga was doing all of this, his kunai was heading speedily towards the attack site. His opponent was also closing in intensely, and when he noticed that his opponent had just set foot near the beginning of the smoke cloud, he set off the explosion of his kunai!*

[MrUseless]

SFX: BOOM!

A second explosion! The shockwave from the blast bore down on Echi, slamming him hard into the muddy sand along the edge of the lake. He pulled his head out of the sand, his hair singed by the heat of the fire ball. He reached back into his satchel and pulled out a soldier pill and placed it in his mouth.

He bit the pill in half and swallowed it, leaving a nasty taste in his mouth. He pushed himself out of the muddy sand, and got back to his feet. He felt chills run over his entire body as another gust of wind blew past. Echi trudged up the embankment to the street level and looked around again for his opponent.

Echi: (Where the hell did he go... He should of been caught in that blast)

Echi's right hand formed a seal infront of him and he reached back for a kunai. His eyes closed and he stood silent in the street, the moons light easily revealing his red coat and white hair. Echi's eyes opened quickly and he let out a yell.

Echi: Come on... Lets just get this over with!

He stood in the street, his kunai readied level with his chest. He held his bow out to his left, level with the ground.


Kunai drawn is not tethered. Building up a 3 point Myakuhaku, both feet and right hand.

*It was time. The winds howled as the explosion had sounded off, creating another large gust of smoke. Shutsuga took the opportunity upon himself to rush in headstrong. He listened for any attack as he ran, and drew from his pouch the second deadly kunai. He held it firm in his right hand as he emerged from the cloud of smoke. He noticed his opponent was getting up from the blast.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: Too late.

*Shutsuga tossed the kunai at the feet of his opponent. As it was in the air, he made some quick hand seals.*

Shutsuga [quietly] Raikou Dageki no Jutsu. Bunshin no jutsu.

*His right hand erupted in lightning, while at the same time creating a small clone next to him to take his place. His chakra was lower then normal, and this bothered him as he feared he would not be able to use many more jutsus at the rate he was going.*

*Meanwhile, the kunai hit the ground a little less than a foot away as his opponent's eyes were closed while forming a seal of some kind. Shutsuga set off the explosion, and then charged towards his opponent with his shield in hand. He hid his right hand behind the shield to keep his opponent oblivious.*


Instead of charging into the cloud of smoke, he ran around behind it onto the lake. The fake one is the one standing where he was.

[MrUseless]

The explosion just to his right sent Echi flying through the air. Chunks of pavement embedded into his body as he was sent crashing into the ground below him. Completly ignoring the pain and focusing his thoughts on his chakra flow and foot placement. He managed to catch his foot and stop himself from flipping around any more. His chakra was nearing its limit already, but he was close enough to being ready it didn't matter.

Echi: (There is no pain, only myself and my opponent... I must defeat him...)

Echi backpedalled at a near-sprint pace, reaching into his satchel drawing a smoke bomb and chakra pill. He slammed the bomb into the ground and rushed to the alley on his left. He ran down the narrow alley, ducking behind the dumpster to his right. His body was shaking all over, the chunks of rock tore deeper into him with every breathe. He bit down on the chakra pill, and reached back for another kunai.

Echi: (Time to go...)

His feet planted into the ground, and he leapt ontop of a dumpster near the corner of the alley. Holding his kunai to his chest, while extending his left arm, pressing his bow against the wall of the building to help him maintain his balance.

*Silence. Shutsuga waited for the cloud of dust and debris to clear before making his move. It was dark enough as is and he did not want to screw up now. The smoke cleared, revealing no chunks of flesh like he had hoped. Instead, a white cloud of smoke appeared next to it, and he knew that his opponent had escaped from his clutches. Shutsuga motioned to his bunshin that was standing opposite of him to draw a kunai and stay out in the open.*

*Meanwhile, the real Shutsuga fled back into the shadows of the office building near the front door. He hid is electrified hand and clutched the shield tightly. He would draw his opponent out for the attack, and then would stop wasting time with the silly explosions. The young Genin did not move nor make a sound in the shadows, and only kept his eyes focused around the area where the puff of white smoke had erupted from.*

Shutsuga [yelling]: Enough games.

Shutsuga [thoughts]: We're moving on to the climax quickly, and the show has just started.

OOC: Phew, this is getting intense.

[MrUseless]

Echi: (well... I guess its inevitable now)

He flips his bow over his left shoulder and hands the kunai over from his right hand. He reaches back into his pack and pulls out some folded cloth. He flips it around over his shoulders while unfolding the device. It draped around his neck, hanging down to his knees at either side of him.

Echi: I have withstood pain on my path...

His hands clenched tightly, his legs bent and he leapt straight into the air. The top of the dumpsters crushed in as he forced all his weight off of it, at the peak of his jump he released both coils of chakra from his feet.

Echi: Myaku...haku

He rocketed further up, and reaching out with his free right hand grasped at the lip of the roof. He caught the edge and slung his left arm over, pulling himself upto the top. He walked across the roof of the building and reached the other side. He stepped up onto the railing and stood there looking out into the dark lifeless city.

Echi: (I'm ready... father)

OOC: Meep! Ready and waiting

[thenightarcher]

OOC: hax.

*Shutsuga's bunshin stayed in place out in the open. Something was not right. His opponent was not coming out to attack, which confused him a little. He became impatient and punched the wall, and much to his surprise, the wall next to him crumbled! It was true that he had his lightning jutsu on, but he was quite surprised it had done this much damage. Shutsuga picked up a large chunk of rock that normally would be heavy. It felt surprisingly light, as if he were picking up a small book. He heaved it out into the night's air, and it travelled far before smashing into the lake.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: So, my strength has increased two fold, at the cost of chakra it seems. In that case...

*Shutsuga snuck around the corner to the place he had been moments before. He sighed to himself; his opponent had not attacked him once since the first arrow fell.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: i can get a better view from one of these buildings. How to get on top, though, is the question.

*The boy fingered something small in his pocket as he pondered his options.*

OOC: Yarr. Not much I could really do.

[MrUseless]

Echi fumbled around in his quiver and pulled out an explosive arrow, he held it over the edge in his right hand. He grinned and dropped it into the alley below.

Echi: Boom!

As the arrow fell to the ground, Echi leapt forward, the cloth hung around his neck stretched out behind him as he soared through the air into the street. The arrow exploded in the alley, sending debris flying in all directions. A tiny smirk came across his face as he landed softly in the street, his legs bent under him to lessen the impact.

Echi Yelled out: Fine, I'm just gonna leave now! You won't attack me like a man you can follow me like a puppy.

Echi began walking down the road, the wind kicked up and his 'scarf' and coat tails fluttered gracefully behind him. He reached into his pack and pulled out an explosive note, holding it in the air and releasing it into the wind. It carried some distance away from him before exploding in the street.

OOC: Now now... You can attack me can't you?

[thenightarcher]

OOC: Sure can.

*The moon was lowering itself slightly in the horizon. Shutsuga mumbled a curse as he walked around. He'd had the idea of just leveling buildings while looking for his opponent, but he figured it would take to long.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: Maybe he went the other way...

*Shutsuga had turned the corner once more and was about to head towards the other side of the building when he heard a loud explosion.*

SFX: BOOMMM!

*Debris and dust scattered everywhere from a nearby alleyway. Shutsuga looked around then opened his eyes wide suddenly.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: ABOVE!

*Shutsuga looked up to see someone floating down from the top of the building. Shutsuga noticed he had his back turned and was going to land in the middle of the street unless he acted quickly. He began running towards his opponent while he was nearly halfway down and made a few quick hand seals. Lightning erupted from his right hand, leaving him with only a small amount of chakra left. Shutsuga rushed with blinding speed toward his opponent who was close to landing! He made sure to stay behind him and make as little noise as possible. The boy was closing in on his opponent very quickly, and just as he landed on the ground, Shutsuga jumped into the air, reared back his arm, and outstretched it! His fist was aimed directly for his opponent’s back, with tons of driving force behind it, closing in at an alarmingly fast rate!*

OOC: You said I could attack...Hmm..

As the tip of Echi's right foot met with the ground a powerful blow caught him in the lower back. A sudden jolt of electricity shot through his body as he was sent falling forward. As he fell forward he twisted around launching the kunai from his left hand.

He landed on his butt and rolled over backwards, pushing off with his hands and landing on his feet. He pulled back on the wire attached to his right hand and caught the kunai in his left. Reaching back with his right hand he gripped an explosive arrow and drew it from his quiver.

He stood there facing his opponent, twirling the kunai by the wire in his left hand and holding the arrow by the feathers. He store into his opponents eyes.

Echi: My name is Sogekihei Echi, Its been a pleasure to fight you.

Echi stood ready with his kunai and arrow, he was finally prepared.

OOC: I'm going to assume your a few meters in front of me since you didn't specify.

*The damage had been done. Shutsuga had watched his opponent hit the ground with force. There was a loud cracking sound as he hit. As soon as the blow had landed, he had put his hand in his pouch and drew out the small object he had been playing with earlier. His opponent had risen up rather quickly, much to his surprise. He thought he had heard a slight groan protrude from his mouth, but could not be sure in all of the confusion. Shutsuga's chakra was low at this point, and he was not sure that a weaker Lightning Strike would even matter at this point. He guesstimated that this point and was standing 3 meters from his opponent.*


Echi: My name is Sogekihei Echi, Its been a pleasure to fight you.

Shutsuga: Hasu Shutsuga. I finally get to see your face.

*Shutsuga threw the smoke bomb that was in his hand on the ground. He hit the ground on one knee quickly as a puff of white smoke consumed them, and then shot forward, aiming a punch directly for his opponent's stomach. He could vaguely see his outline, but as he got closer it was more apparent; he was moving at a great speed. The boy's right arm was outstretched once more, only this time with no lightning!*

OOC: Glad we're getting to the actual combat sequences now.

Shutsuga: Hasu Shutsuga. I finally get to see your face.

Echi heard these words and began to grin. Shutsuga threw a smoke bomb to the ground, and Echi quickly back pedalled while undoing his "scarf". He through it onto the ground infront of him and leapt backwards.

SFX: Boom!

The two explosive notes exploded sending out a powerful shockwave. Debris and smoke filled the air as Echi contiued to move backwards. He quickly slid his arrow back into his quiver and wrapped his kunai to his right hand with the wire, tying it like a wrist blade extending a few inches beyond his closed fist.

Echi raised his left hand outward paralel to his shoulder, he kept his right hand closer to his chest ready to attack.

OOC: I'm glad too ;)

OOC: Fuck. I realized I didn't edit my inventory from when i bought stuff at the store so now i have less stuff. Sigh.

*Shutsuga thought he was about to land a solid hit, but the outline vanished suddenly. His eyes had been playing tricks on him. Still, something was not right. He felt something was extremely wrong, and that was when he heard the brief igniting of an exploding tag.*

Shutsuga: Shit.

SFX: BOOM!!

*Shutsuga threw his arms in a cross formation in front of his face and chest. The explosion rocked his entire body and sent him backwards sliding into the ground. He coughed and got up. He was covered in dust and he had a few scratches on his arms. The explosion had also knocked the wind out of him for a few seconds.*

*Still, he could not give up. As soon as he was done sliding across the ground for a second, he jumped up on his feet and face his opponent, ready to strike.*

The smoke quickly cleared and Echi's opponent was now standing again. With a quick movement his bow slid down his left arm into his hand. He held it tightly between the grip and tip, and began running towards Shutsuga. The bow dragged behind him and he readied his right fist, pulling it back.

He was only a few meters from his opponent when he spun around on the tip of his right foot and hurled his bow towards Shutsuga, spinning through the air at a high rate of speed towards his head. Charging right behind it Echi raised his right fist and lunged forward, aiming straight for Shutsuga's chest.

OOC: nothing to say... >.<

*Shutsuga stood there and waited for his opponent to make a move. Finally, he began to run straight towards Shutsuga. It appeared he was planning on striking him. The young Genin reached quickly into his pocket and drew from it three shuriken. When his opponent was a few meters away from him, however, he spun around and launched his bow at Shutsuga's head, then resumed charging.*

*Shutsuga crouched down quickly and threw the three shuriken at his opponent, who was now one meter away. He thought he felt the bow graze the top of his head, but he was not paying attention. The shuriken were moving fast, possibly too fast for his opponent to even register they were coming at him. One of the shuriken was aimed for his chest, one for his head, and one for his lower stomach.*


As soon as he had fired off the shuriken, Shutsuga used the last remaining bit of his chakra to use Raikou Dageki no Jutsu, creating a slightly smaller lightning bolt than last time.

OOC: Not much for me to do either..

As Echi lunged forward with his attack he was struck by the three shuriken. A shuriken was buried into his chest and stomach, aswell as his left hand. Echi flinched for a split second and came forward full force with his right hand, the tip of the kunai rocketing forward just inches from Shutsuga's face.

OOC: Had to take the shurikens in stride >.< Almost Super Saiyan!

*Shutsuga saw the three shuriken all hit, except for the head, which instead had been replaced by his opponent's left hand. He was feeling victorious for a moment, and then all of the color drained from his face. Fury overtook Shutsuga. His opponent had tricked him and had hidden a kunai in his fist. He desperately tried to move to the side a little, but could not escape the full wrath. The kunai struck the side of his head and made a long cut.*

Shutsuga [thoughts]: It's over.

*Shutsuga, ignoring the fiery, intense pain and the immense amount of blood made a last stand. Him and his opponent were touching, and his opponent had no way to defend himself now.*

*As soon as Shutsuga had taken the hit, he brought his right fist, which was ecnased in lightning, up at rocketing speed straight for Echi's jaw. The punch would knock him out cold or severely hurt him, and at the speed it was going, plus the position Echi was in with his outstretched hand left him no way to dodge.*

OOC: I think we should call it there probably...I took a pretty bad wound to the head and I don't want to lose consciousness from it. This was a fun match.

Light came from underneath Echi, and reacting instinctively he released his last myakuhaku from his right hand. He was thrusted backwards but could not avoid the entire hit, the lightning caught him and sent shocks through his body. The wires around his hand cut into his flesh as he tripped over backwards, landing flat on his back.

Blood dripping from all over his body, shurikens dug deep into his flesh he lay there wrapped in an uncontrollable pain. Echi was breathing heavily when he let out a few choice words.

Echi: G... Good fight

Echi began coughing and blood dripped from the side of his mouth. He'd need a doctor, and fast.

This fight has finally been judged. Sorry for the delay, but i forgot about this one and it seems the other judges did too.

Anyway, it has been judged now... and the winner is... TNA

The reason for this is marginal. Both of you did well, however, i felt that TNA's RP'ing (and strategy) was a notch above of chance's. There was a certain edge to TNA's RPing, which made his side seem slightly better.

However, it was really close. Though, i must say, the first half of the fight really dragged on. =X

*finally coming upon his friend shussui stumbling his way awkwardly towards the perfect city-replica arena Tenks stops his frenzied run, laying one knee on the ground as he gasped and panted for air to fill his aching lungs while sputtering a few choppy words to the focused, drunken looking, watter nin up ahead.

Tenks: Shussui... wai (cough) t up man... (cough cough) ... I heard you next ba (cough) ttle is coming up in a couple... (cough ) I thought I'd come give ya some support...

*While attempting to turn around to greet the welcomed arrival Shussui almost fell down from the "complex" foot patterns needed for the feat. He looked tired... dog tired with his forehead wrinkled as he peered thru blood-shot eyes at the Ten'un.

Shussui: I might need for then morale support... maybe physical support.

*Tenks caught up and began walking beside his comrade in the calm evening: their were only a few people on the streets

*Turning solemn and fast-walking towards the final leg to the city-arena, The God's Favorite, begins to answer Shussui's question, although the boy is no longer interested*

Tenks: basically Kiun believed the a mystical arbitrary 12th charka was the force behind the passive altercation, letting us achieve balance and harmony, perhaps even enlightenment and out of body experiences on terms with becoming little more then an avatar of a~

Shussui: what the? the effects seem to be wearing off... this is stupid, the passive altercation is weakening, their barely getting passively raped now~

SFX: WHAP, the clumbsy water-nin, unfocused on walking finally finds himself a face full of pavement... at least it refocuses him on the task at hand. he askes Tenks almost zen-like from his resting place on the street.

Shussui: mmmmmmmmmm..... Tenks, help me up...

*The Ten'un gives him a hand up

Tenks: Whenever I meet a girl something like this happens, albeit never to this degree before: must be the increased charka control. however once it becomes apparent I don't wanna get in their pants the world stops assaulting them for my benefit...

Shussui: damn man... sorry... so your were saying that I unlocked some crazy twelth charka...

Tenks: which then after you re-locked unbalanced your entire body from basic physical movements to charka flow

Shussui: Thats ridiculous, their is no gates after death... I obviously gained a blessing from a god for a short period of time and when it found out about the trickery he put this hex on me... do Ten'uns even worship a god?

*Tenks henged into a bird a flew ridiculously fast over the city to the mall, stunned at his speed within the night sky his muscles seemed in perfect harmony tonight. he was at the Konoha mall in no time, making his way in The grand Revolving doors the God's Favorite was automatically greeted by a huge fountain shaped like konoha's 1st hokage and an inviting food court behind: which he bolted through the chairs over to "The Garden Of Vegan" to throw on a vegetable burger before proceeding briskly to his right as he had not eatin any supper.

The sign loomed in front of him, like the gate to heaven itself, he rushed in.

Ninja Necessities: Where ninjas buy the good stuff.

-threw on a protective vest, goggles, and some shoes with blades in them
- put some Metsubishi in the back of all his clan kunai, putting just a small bit of tape so that it would un-lodge after any significant jarring hit and wrapped an explosive note around each
-grabbed two pouches throwing some wire into one and 5 smoke bombs in the other
-put a second kunai holster of 8 normal kunai on his other leg with explosive notes wrapped around them on his other leg
-grabbed a few lengths of rope

Tenks: (such a huge explosion will send my opponent this way, I must hurry... hopefully my next opponent will wanna show off their skills like Shussui wanted to)

*The Ten'un rushed over to the destroyed area, bent down and rushed back to where he was, grabbing a drink of water from the pool to sooth his throat sore from breathing the dust of the explosion.

Tenks: (whoa, materials from the explosion made it all the way out here)

*The Ten'un walked over to his veggie burger, perfectly cooked, and began to chow down while checking the noticeable places his opponent might enter from.

Tenks went over and grabbed an insulated high voltage cord and pulled it over the the pool, droppping the end in the water thinking the fierce current would instantly incapacitate any genin's capable of water walking who decide to try it out.

[Azure Wrath]

Morning came with little gladness. A letter stood on Anryoku’s bedside table… but Anryoku was not in her bed. There were damn spots on her pillowcase, where she had cried herself to sleep. Life had been tough recently… and with the news of Awashi, she was shocked. And terrified. Awashi was a great friend… she did not want to lose him.

However, Anryoku could not be found in the Kagirinai Manor. Not even at sunrise. Instead, she was walking. Walking through most of the neighborhood… and steadily approaching the arena where she was supposed to fight this day. Thoughts were pounding in her mind and made life so inexplicably tangled… however, she knew very well that she had to focus this day. She had to battle… with power… with determination… with hatred.


“Hatred?”

Hatred… it was something she realized she could fill herself with… it would make her so much fiercer for this battle. Would she fill herself with hatred for this fight?

“Yes… let it pour inside of you… let me install the divine hatred of the God’s Favorite in you.”

“God’s Favorite?”

“Yes…. Hate him… let me help you!”

“SHUT UP!!!”


Anryoku found herself screaming at the wee hours of the morning, yelling into nothingness. It was horrible. Was she going mad? She knew not. But she knew that she intended on winning on this day.


Stepping towards the entrance of the arena, she is given a pill and an injection from the guards… apparently to install the conditions for this fight. Anryoku looked forwards with ice in her eyes. She was ready to kill.


Within the city, Anryoku wandered for a while. At the western-most entrance, she stood, folding her pockets, to see what equipment she had.


“Wire… 10 explosive tags…5 kunai…10 hari… and my wakizashi.”


Anry pulls out a loop of wire, the same one she had used the previous day. She also attached a kunai to it, in the same setup she had during the previous day’s training. She then put it back into her kunai holster, at her right-hand side.

Walking for a while, she eventually saw a huge explosion! It came from the east! Immediately, her senses for battle turned ready. With a few sudden leaps, she was on top of a building and could stare at the wreck of a building. It was now a simple pile of ruble… with vast flames slashing back and forth from the debris. The red flames painted an orange glow on the ground… and there was a black silhouette painted on the grass as well.


“It’s him.”


Her eyes narrowed. Her fingers played. Then it was time to move.

Silently, the silver haired ninja dropped to the ground. Standing on the grass, she stood, facing the black painting in the flames that was her opponent. Stealthily, she walked forwards, towards the edge of the lake that separated the two of them. And there she stood, waiting…

The Anryoku at the lake is a bunshin. Anryoku performed the bunshin jutsu when 'her fingers played'. The real Anry is still on top of the building, hiding, keeping an eye on what is going on below

Content having finished his veggie-burger the Ten'un took a seat out on the grass in front of the mall, lazi-like under the moonlight, boredom, enemy of alertness began to overcome him. he was scanning for his stealthily-moving opponent but under the cover of night no sight of her could be seen as she waited across the lake from the mall.

Tenks: (... whats taking so long? surely he isn't waiting somewhere else expecting me to scour the city in search... I made the biggest attention getter possible, how can I up that?)

*as the Ten'un contemplated how to make a bigger explosion a much more important matter came to mind

Tenks: (nonetheless, It's not smart to be hanging out here fully exposed, guess I'll go back inside, set up some traps and find a hiding spot... and if he doesn't come in another ten minutes I'll make an even bigger explosion... I outta be charging admission for viewing my pop-art!)

*aware of how lame his mind statement had be the Ten'un pulls his goggles from his face and lets go as punishment, letting them speed back and smack him in the head, knocking him backwards and sending some colour to face, before getting up and heading back into the center of the mall, which was still standing as only the right end was destroyed. Once inside he cautiously went into hiding after setting up a/some trap(s)

Tenks used his hook swords to scale the interior and climb into a grand crystal chandelier, high up and located just after entering and just before the fountain and placed and weakened the anchor point to where one stiff hit will send it careening down, shattering into thousands of bits of glass

Anryoku looked at her opponent and saw him moving towards a building, after peacefully eating some food… After casually finishing his meal, he turned around and entered a building. Anryoku saw this as the time to go in for the attack. Immediately, she ran to the building, doing her utmost best to produce no sound at all. After running for a while, she stood at the entrance of the building that her opponent had walked into. The doors stood ready, awaiting her entry. Slowly, she placed her hand on the hilt of her wakizashi.

She could feel the new sense of speed and chakra inside of her. The injection and the pill for the battle condition seemed to have worked. It was the ideal time to try it out.

As she stared at the entrance, the young Kagirinai girl produced a kunai from her pocket, which she held in her left hand… a bit of wire was sticking out of its loop and hung at her side, while her right hand played with the hilt of her wakizashi.

Then, she entered. With a dash, she shot through the doorway and readied her kunai and her wakizashi. With a sudden tug, she unsheathed her wakizashi. After entering the doorway, she turned 180 degrees to see if her opponent had perhaps waited behind the entrance for her…. If he hadn’t, she would swing another 180 degrees to find him!


The Anry in this post is the bunshin from the previous post. The real Anry had, in the meantime, followed the bunshin. By the time the bunshin was inside the building, Anryoku was standing outside, at the same spot her opponent was standing, while eating the disgusting veggie burger.

[Antagonist]

Tenks: (... two more minutes and I'm just gonna leave for the deserted replica Hokage Office and stock up on forbidden scrolls...)

SFX: RAP A TAP SCRECCH WHIRL SWOOSH! A knock-out glowing silver-haired Kunoichi comes roaring in , stopping just after the door and before the fountain and begins to turn back towards the door.

Tenks: (what unnaturally stunning hair... it's more poignant then even Michi's...)

*Cold similarities to Michi instantly aggravated his natural peaceful aura... it would not waste anytime trying to unzip this beauty now facing the doors and move straight on to zipping her up... in a bodybag.

Tenks: (may Bless guard your coffin...)

The Ten'un sent a dramatic burst of chakra to his feet and erupted towards the wall high above the great doors from his hiding place on top the weakened grand Crystal chandelier hanging right right above Anry as she began to turn back from the doors to the fountain.

SFX: VOOSHHH!!

With the added boost the deadly chandelier of razor-glass speeds towards the girl swinging weapons around as she rotates in a circle, although understandably she would look up now. The Ten'un shouts very unhelpful words of advice concerned for his opponents safety having walked so perfectly into this trap... when the crystal chandelier hit the ground it would burst into thousands of lethal shards of glass, plastering the area... although the Ten'un up near the roof might be lucky enough to somehow escape unharmed.

Tenks: DONT DIE!

SFX: Chink, The God's favorite buries a hook sword into the wall high above the door and brings his feet against the wall, propping himself up as he throws his spare hand before his face. Focused on the scene below he speaks quietly: as if in prayer.

Tenks: ka...

Tenks went over and grabbed an insulated high voltage cord and pulled it over the the pool, droppping the end in the water thinking the fierce current would instantly incapacitate any genin's capable of water walking who decide to try it out.

Tenks about to explode the note upon the door out of the mall so if she tries to escape that way she is in done for, also notice her hands are filled with weapons so it would awkward for her to form seals... ya... even Sol would be dead XD

[Azure Wrath]

With a sudden thunderous roar, the false tranquility in the arena is broken once again. After the major explosion, there was a brief period of silence, bothered only by the munching sounds of a veggie burger being eaten. However, the sound of a massive glass chandelier snapping was something that broke the silence as if it was a twig underfoot.

Kagirinai Anryoku was caught, it seemed. The massive glass chandelier came plummeting down towards her… and with weapons in hand, she had little time to perform any seals… even the amplified speed would not save her now. What would she do?

She would try.

With a sudden roll, Anryoku lashed to the side…. However…


Meanwhile, the real Arnyoku saw the calamity inside the mall. She was now very pleased that she had sent the bunshin into the building. It was a wise choice to have taken caution in such a place. Caution paid off… and Anry now had the upper hand.

“You know what to do”

While she heard the snapping of the cable that held the chandelier, she pulled out two kunai and immediately bound an explosive tag on each and 5 hari around those. Then, she waited for the opportune moment… Her opponent was SOMEWHERE inside… and these two bombs would be a good way for him to see her wrath…

“Make him suffer.”

As the bunshin Anry rolled out of the way, the chandelier came crashing down at an immense speed… and even though the bunshin tried as hard as she could, the deafening blow of the chandelier crushed her! A sudden blast of dust and powdered lass erupted from the epicenter of the chandeliers death. So much dust, that the two kunai that were lodged into the mall from the doorway, went unseen. The deafening crash allowed no one to hear the two kunai pegging into the floor. The great blast of the fallen chandelier would have diverted her opponents attention from the stealth entry of the kunai. The kunai were also wreathed in dust in debris from the explosion, thus making it nearly impossible to see them. But they were there. Anryoku had thrown them to each peg about one and a half meters inside of the door way. She also threw them at an angle, allowing one to be slightly to the left of the door and the other to the slight right of the door.

And Anryoku did not hesitate at all. As they pegged, while the last noises from the dying chandelier faded, she created her own noise. With one seal.

The explosion was tremendous!! As the explosive tags detonated, it sent 10 hari into all directions. The explosion turned the hari to sharp, molten shrapnel, flying at anything and everything that could be destroyed… including human flesh. Which was what Anry had intended to hit.


And the second the explosion took place, Anryoku leapt from her position, up to the roof of the mall. There, she found a glass roof where she could see what was going on inside… but currently, with the explosion, she could see nothing. She concealed herself… and then waited to see it.


“See what?”

Just as Anry exploded the explosive notes on the ground Tenks exploded the Explosive note on the door, severely negating and redirecting the force of the other explosions so that, none of the 10 hari went near the God's Favorite, however the wall did begin to crumble so Tenks quickly took out his other hook sword and jockeyed to the side, coming to rest in a shaded corner as the smoke cleared.

Tenks: no one's there...

The Ten'un sheathed a hook sword and took out an umbrella kunai, searching the room carefully as the lights... flickered... steadily...

Tenks went over and grabbed an insulated high voltage cord and pulled it over the the pool, droppping the end in the water thinking the fierce current would instantly incapacitate any genin's capable of water walking who decide to try it out.

From the glass ceiling, Anryoku saw her opponent detonate the explosive tags at the door. It was a shame how her devious attack got taken out. Anryoku was rather interested in how he could detonate it so fast… what was she dealing with?


“Who cares?! KILL HIM!”

The voice pounded in her head, but she ignored it. She could not lose focus. And she did not. As she saw her opponent inside, she started the next phase of her plan. Anryoku lined herself up with her opponent from the roof. She could see him perfectly, with his wavy purple hair… Then, she did a few seals. While she did it, she placed an explosive tag in the palm of her hand… Then… After the seals were finished…

“Do it”

“Hatsugoori Dangan no jutsu!”

Immediately, Anryoku formed a large crystal in her hand. It was as sharp as the devil’s wit and it had severl spikes sticking form the sides,to catch into her opponent’s skin, in case it edged past him! The crystal was the size of a football… but she had no time to observe it’s beautiful sharp edges…. Because with an immense blast of chakra, she shot it from her hands!! Immediately, it crashed through the glass panel in the roof and shot towards her opponent with such terrible speed, that it would be hard to dodge!

The second after launching the blast of ice, the young Kagirinai held her one hand ready, in a seal, while her other hand lay on the hilt of her wakizashi, ready to unsheathe it if the purple haired boy somehow got up on the roof in an instant.


The explosive tag in her palm was frozen inside the ice blast. The seal she had ready was to detonate the explosive tag at any time. She would do so if the ice shot hit, or if it Tenks somehow dodges it.

[Antagonist]

Cloaked in the Shady corner where wall met roof the wilily Ten'un's every sense was alert, not even blinking his eyes darted around the area, almost bulging from his head as he rested conpletely mobile dissecting and picking apart every aspect of the room for life.

Tenks: (The girl dashed into the room spinning around silently and I was so focused on having caught her that I hastily acted... and I thought she had bloodlu~)

SFX: SHATTER!!

*From the corner of his eyes he noticed the marvelous skylight over the fountain explode as a glossy green foreign object crashed thru at rocket speed, It was flying almost horizontally as the angle to hit the Ten'un pressed up in the corner against the roof from on top the roof was insane, therefore It broke the glass at the furthest possible distance from the ten'un, plus the corner of the room was naturally, due to the Pythagorean theorem, the farthest distance from the pane of glass one could get without descending towards the floor: so although he wouldn't have enough time to dodge the thing he could at least react early and well.

He threw the umbrella kunai clutched ready in his hand at the sphere then withdrew the hand back towards his face in a seal shouting but one word when the Kunai met the ball almost midway

Tenks: Kai!

The explosive note on the kunai exploded, and the flames and heat of the outside range of the explosion singed his cloths and skin giving him a slight bit of a desperately needed tan as he withdrew as far into the corner as possible. His opponent on the other hand would be facing shards of Ice from the ball shattered in the explosion hurling back towards her, perhaps not a big threat for the distance she would have to be away to launch the ball to begin with, but enough to grab her attention.

If onlookers were on site they would notice, as their eyes adjusted back to the dark of night from the brightness of the explosion a blanket of smoke. The Ten'un had activated the smoke bomb and now was no where to be seen to any onlookers trying to find him in the corner.

Tenks Jockeyed back towards where the wall had crumbled above the great doors and just before going around the broken wall to the outside he threw a kunai, with his sight not obstructed by the smoke engulfing the corner, into the frame of the shattered skylight window. then going around to the outside he pulled himself up onto the roof

*Climbing on the roof from a minute or so after the explosion the Ten'un would probably be easily viewed by his opponent as the rooftop was a very bare-bones and uncluttered plane, clean, concrete, uniform and unfeeling.

The Ten'un started grasping and throwing kunai methodically one by one (total of up to seven attacks and explosions depending on what Anry does) with his right hand with dizzying speed at his opponent while he put his left hand up to his face, ready to blow up the explosive tags when the time came, he would only stop this relentless assault on his opponent until It became evident such action was not smart (Anry a bunshin, having to defend himself, Anry not even there, etc). Metal glinted in the skylight frame.

Tenks went over and grabbed an insulated high voltage cord and pulled it over the the pool, droppping the end in the water thinking the fierce current would instantly incapacitate any genin's capable of water walking who decide to try it out.

Tenks will explode the explosive note on his 8th and final regular kunai lodged in the skylight frame if Anry tries to go thru it to escape, also notice that the fountain is directly below the skylight

Anryoku was pretty confident in her bullet of ice she had rocketed towards her opponent… but with a dazzling explosion, her attack was completely nullified… The explosive tag she had placed inside the blast also exploded, adding to the chaos… Immediately, Anryoku dropped the seal she was preparing to detonate her kunai… instead, she rolled away from the skylight, so no shards could hurt her. She was safe for a while, as she saw several green shards of ice careening through the skylight into the air.

As Anryoku was out of the way, the next bit of her plan was set into motion. She left another explosive tag in her right hand, between her fingers…. Then, she performed the next set of hand seals…



As she finishes the seals, she drops the explosive tag RIGHT where she is about to create her shield… this means that it will be caught inside of her shield when it is created. Once it has been created, Anry will strengthen the side of the shield that is between her and the explosive tag and she will weaken the side between the kunai and the outer surface of the shield, so when she explodes it, it will blast outwards and not into her.



“Hatsugoori Toku no jutsu.”


As Anryoku mutters the words, a small green shield of crystal is formed in her left hand. It is roughly the size of her chest, making it small and mobile. Using some extra chakra and the trait of her ice, Anry molds the chakra in her shield to create a severe cutting edge on the sides of the shield.

While Anry made this shield, she heard a noise, coming from the side of the building. Instinctively, she drew her wakizashi, holding it in her right hand. Along with it, she held a wire, which had a kunai dangling from it, about 10 centimeters away from where she held the wire… the other end of the wire ran all the way back into her pocket… She readied her stance…

And then she saw the hands of someone on the side of the roof. Her opponent was climbing up onto the roof!


“This is it. Finish him!”


And utilizing the speed from the injection she got, Anryoku dashed forward as silently as possible! The speed at which she shot was unparalleled. Her wakizashi gleamed emerald under the moonlight and the kunai waved in the air, trailing Anry’s attacking hand… And then, while her opponent climbed up, Anryoku leapt forwards!! She performed a somersault of sorts, so she would be upside down when she would be directly above her opponent. At that time, she would lunge her wakizashi straight down, aimed at his skull. With his hands trying to get him onto the roof, he would have a hard time to dodge… and as she would pass over him, she would drop the kunai in her right hand and keep hold of the wire… She also had her shield, which she would use incase her opponent somehow tried something sneaky.



The kunai on the wire that was dropped is indeed the one that had the explosive tag attached to it earlier.

*spying his opponent leaping at him Tenks let go of his hook swords he had used to jockey around and up the wall, fortunately she even did a flip to come down on top of him, this maneuver gave the Ten'un another second or two to leave the deadly blast radius.

as Anry rapidly decended towards the hook-swords and Tenks dropped away from the hook swords he threw his hand to his face and detonated the explosive tags attacked to the hook swords right as his opponent was on top of them.

SFX: BOOM!

Tenks: (I wonder if that shield can withstand that level of force... )

The force of the fire sent the Ten'un rocketing to the ground and receiving some burns even though he was considerably farther from the explosion then the silver-haired girl. Ever in a battle ready state of mind though he withdrew two umbrella kunai, ready to intercept any attack that should come his way... the tape peeling off the edges.

Tenks went over and grabbed an insulated high voltage cord and pulled it over the the pool, droppping the end in the water thinking the fierce current would instantly incapacitate any genin's capable of water walking who decide to try it out.

As Anryoku swung towards her young opponent, she saw how he dropped down from the swords that had held him up! He dropped away, just out of her reach! She stared into his eyes for a few seconds… they were twisted and demented, eager to rip her spine out from her mouth. Was he more twisted than she was?


“No… you’re pretty screwed up.”


While still in midair, staring down at the purple-haired demon, she suddenly saw the swords at the wall emanate a flicker! They had explosive tags on them!


“Shit!”


In a sudden jerk, Anryoku tucked her body behind her shield and forced it between her and the explosion that was about to come. She let go of the wire that was attached to the kunai, allowing the kunai to drop down alongside her opponent. Then, she poured immense chakra into the shield… for otherwise, the explosion would hurt.

Then it exploded. The explosion was vast and great! The immense force pummeled at her shield, rocketing Anryoku back! Most of her body was protected, but her hair got singed and her legs suffered some intense burns, scraping skin off of them, revealing crimson, exposed flesh. However, she focused her chakra to the shield, forcing it against the immense blast from the explosion… and the shield endured… however, the explosion sent her flying sky-high into the air! The explosion had also rocketed her opponent as well as her kunai towards the ground. The kunai pegged a foot or so to the right of her opponent.


While flying in the air, Anryoku repositioned herself… she was now directly above her opponent… just a great height above him… The fall would kill her, unless she did something drastic!


“I need to get out of here… I need to… wait!”


“Yes… that”

“The debris!”


Anryoku spotted a large chunk of debris, about 2 meters to the left of her opponent. She quickly sheathed her wakizashi, for a few seconds, so she had a free hand… then…


“Kawarimi no jutsu!”


Instantly, Anryoku was replaced with the large chunk of debris! IT caused her to be placed roughly two meters to her opponent’s left hand side… and it also left the debris above her opponent, about to plummet down upon him. The debris was roughly 10 meters high, giving the purple-haired boy a few seconds to escape from it… but Anryoku was now facing him. Her legs had turned crimson red, wreathed in blood and pain. Her silver hair had black singed ends. Her top had a few burn marks in it as well, for some reason. It revealed tidbits of her bare skin, which was tanned.

She looked at her opponent.


“I am Kagirinai Anryoku. It is a pleasure to fight an opponent this good.”


Then she placed her right hand to her face.


“Kai.”


And with those words, she detonated the explosive tag on the kunai that was to her opponent’s right. The second after detonating the explosive tag, she pulled her wakizashi from its sheath again and stood ready for a melee that would now probably break loose.

[Antagonist]

Desperate upon seeing his opponent come out of the explosion the Ten'un reflexively threw an tagged umbrella kunai, it's strange path shot inaccurately towards the far left of the object as the Ten'un detonated it, resulting in some minor damage to the... large chunk of debris. Mostly though it just pushed the chunk towards the right. Tenks did not notice this though as he had henged into a bird, flapping his wings maniacally to slow his decent. Luckily he had not fell on any debris but even with the drag created in bird form the soft grassed ground still punished his body upon collision

SFX: Whap!

Tenks: eerr...

*suddenly from his left he heard a feminine voice, and turning he saw it to be a girl standing over him with her bloody with her top tattered

She was just like Eri on that fateful day... the day she bled and her top was torn.

She was Eri... long blond hair flowing in the night breeze.

That was her most stunning feature, her golden blond hair... for hours each day inside the ghetto she ran a shard of glass thru it to keep the lice out, It was a hard task for such a little reward but it spoke volumes of her character... It was what made her a lovely young girl.

Tenks: (I remember... I was gonna buy you a comb... not much but I know how much you would have appreciated it)

*The Ten'un, awe-struck with all sense of the world gone tries to speak but all that comes out is a heart-felt whisper, inaudible to the ears.

Tenks: I can just imagine the look on your face...

And now she mouthed words to him, the words Tenks heard very different from the shape her mouth was making, although such little detail went unnoticed

Anry/Eri: I've come to comfort you from so far away. why have you hurt me Tenks...

The Ten'un rose to his knees and began shuffling/stumbling over towards the girl's damaged legs, to desperately help with the injuries he had inflicted

Tenks: I'm sorry. I'd never mean to hur~

Strangely Eri suddenly shifted her focus away from Tenks, staring behind him as she softly she put a hand before her face softly yet powerfully pronouncing the word Tenks had heard too much this day

Anry/Eri: Kai.

*Tenks managed only to hunch his shoulders and steal a glance behind him to see the piece of debris he had earlier accidentally redirected explode apart as it absorbed the majority of the explosion and shattered into solf-ball size pieces.

Tenks: why~

*Tenks was spared from the majority of the rocketing chunks of debris as he was low down to the ground on his knees crawling towards Anry's legs where one is safest from the frag grenade like explosion. Since the huge majority of the material goes upwards. Nonetheless some chunks of debris smashed into his back and side, throwing the Ten'un's body at Anry's weakened legs, while Anry was faced with a much worse predicament from the large chunk of debris which had luckily landed almost on top of her kunai. standing up facing it she would have more vital points exposed and be facing a far greater amount of blast materials.*

“ I'm sorry. I'd never mean to hur~”


Anryoku did not even wait. She had no time for this boy.


“That’s right…Let me take over… let me handle him… let me break him.”

“…Kai…”


And with bitter solace riddling her face, Anryoku detonated her explosive tag on the kunai. With a sudden earth-pounding thud, the ground shook and raised a storm of debris and flame into the sky! Blasts of dirt and debris rained upon all in the radius of the blast! The debris that her opponent had placed there had turned into one huge grenade that threatened her as well now!

Anry’s opponent was knocked onto the ground, which was good and bad at the same time. He was on the floor and rather immobile for a few split seconds… but mosto f the debris was heading her way! She had to move!


“(I need to defend myself! I hit from that storm of debris would be beyond painful!)”


In a sudden motion, Anry lifted her shield in front of her face and tilted it at a 45 degree angle, to redirect the debris over her head. In the same motion, she grabbed her wakizashi, unsheathed it and leapt forwards, hopping onto her haunches. In this position, she tucked her body away behind her shield, protecting most of her body… And, she was now a foot or two away from her opponent. She charged chakra to her feet, in case she had to make an emergency exit… bits and pieces of debris struck her… some in her left arm… some in the raw exposed flesh on her legs… she grimaced in pain… but, she also did something else, which she did not falter with, no matter how much pain she took from the debris…


“Do it! Pierce him! Feed him your pain!!”


She drove her wakizashi straightforward, towards the purple haired face that was in front of her. Her arm straightened in a sudden snap and her emerald blade’s tip homed in towards her opponent’s face. The thrust was blindingly fast and filled with both deadly precision and malice.

The chakra in her feet remained ready, in case she needed to burst out of the way in an instant. She held firmly onto her shield, in case she needed another defense. And her right hand remained firm on the hilt of her weapon, eager for the kill.

[Antagonist]

Surprisingly the Ten'un did not go crashing into Anry's legs, in fact after crawling and getting knocked rolling forward he covered so little distance that Anry had to leap forwards to come within a few feet of him. Nonetheless the result was he was in trouble, back-reeling from this lost-love's relentless attack.

Tenks: Eri, Please!

The dazed Ten'un had a wakizashi speeding at his face, desperately he swung the kunai left in his other hand before his face: luckily intercepting the wakizashi, rolling and redirecting it off it's circular shape into the hair and grass besides the Ten'un's head. The force of the collision was so powerful that it unleashed the Metsubishi powder hidden away in the Umbrella kunai and made the concoction airborne. With his goggles the Ten'un would not be affected by this powder consisting of sand, peppers, and metal shavings that blinds those who get it in their eyes but his opponent might. Also the force of the collision between umbrella kunai and wakizashi was so strong that it cause the umbrella kunai to fly out of the Ten'un's hand: up in the air and behind Anry.

His hands now free the Ten'un performs the necessary seals to Kawamiri: he chooses to switch with the umbrella kunai now in the air behind Anry.

Tenks: Kawamiri!

*Now behind Anry/Eri the aching God's Favorite starts to reach out to steady his beloved Eri and calm her when he is suddenly repelled by ominous feeling, along with a voice infiltrating his head. Authoritative with hatred.

"Dont touch her Gods Favorite, she is mine: eternally"

Suddenly Eri's golden blond hair began to whither and die, going burnt at the ends as the color vanished, turning white as her chest started to fill out as she became like a succubus in human guise: beautiful on the outside yet with something conflicting and arbitrary coexisting inside her, perhaps in a twisted symbiotic relationship or sorts.

Whatever the case, this wasn't Eri, this was a being that Tenks needed to rid of the world: as much for the spirit that repelled him as for raising his spirits at the sight of Eri, only to be let down again, harder then ever.

*Tenks exploded the explosive kunai he had kawamiri'd with then threw a regular kunai at Anry's back: forming a mess of seals and shouting

Tenks: Hiru Bugu No Jutsu!

A wall of distortion ran towards the back of the girl

OoC: please note that despite the amount of text that after deflecting the sword the only real action that happened was a kawamiri, then a short unfinished, reach to embrace Anry, then the detonation of the umbrella kunai and the throwing of the regular kunai: buffed with para armor.

Many things happened as Anryoku attempted to skewer her opponent with her emerald wakizashi. The first thing that happened was the release of a fine powder of metal, sand and pepper, as a kunai parried her blade to the side! The fine powder reeked into the air and Anryoku had to use her shield to cover her eyes… but this took away most of the visibility… however, she could still peer underneath the shield, to see what was happening…

The second thing that happened, was her opponent kawarimi’ing with an umbrella kunai that had flown behind Anry. Immediately, the umbrella kunai took her opponent’s place and sent him behind her.


“(Shit! I missed!!)”


With her wakizashi forced in the ground, she ripped it out and, out of spite, swung at the umbrella kunai, batting it away from her. Then, with a swing, she turned around at her opponent. The purple haired boy was walking closer, about to embrace her…


And then the third and most unpredictable thing happened…


“Let me handle him.”

“What?!”

“Shut up, whore.”


And then Anryoku was shoved to the back of her own mind, as something else occupied her being. Something else took over the controls, her voice, her mind, her eyes, her life.



“Don’t touch her, Gods Favorite... she is mine. Eternally!”


The voice that her throat emanated was raspy and bitter, far from the usual sweet voice that Anryoku carried with her. It scared Anry. She could see what was happening, but she was chained in the back of her own mind. She was screaming to get out!


“Let me go!! Let me back!!”


“Shut up, you bitch!!”


For a second, Anry and the voice struggled immensely… Her body shook and her hands scraped into her hair, tugged and screaming. Her yells of utter torment wreaked havoc to the sky and to the ears of those who heard it.

And it was in this time that her opponent had thrown a kunai at her. Her shield had dissipated when the chaos inside her mind ensued, causing little flakes of crystal to drop to the ground. Her mind was still at war as Anryoku desperately tried to force herself out of the chains in her own mind… And then the kunai struck her. It hit her in her left shoulder and penetrated deeply into her flesh. Blood immediately seeped from the wound.


“See what you did, you wretched whore?! Let me handle this!”


“Hiru Bugu No Jutsu!”


With a sudden force, Anry was knocked out, binded up i nthe back of her mind. But her body still moved. Her body still breathed. Her eyes still blinked. The voice was in control.



“(There… now… was it the Hiru Bugu that made it so easy to take over? Possibly.)”


Her white hair glowed in the moonlight. And the blur as she moved glistened under that same moon. As she shot forwards, towards her opponent, her hands blistered a set of seals.

She kicked the crystal shards (the remnants of her shield) towards her opponent as she leapt forward, hoping it would distract him.

Blood streamed through the sky as she lunged forward. Her movement was blindingly fast and hopefully her scene had put her opponent off guard. Her right fist was an inch away from her opponent’s abdomen when she called the words.


“SHIMO BUKI NO JUTSU!!”


The voice was shrill, filled with demented hatred and her voice tasted of pain. As she called the jutsu, a blade of ice propagated from her hand…. And would continue to propagate straight through the God’s Favorite Kidney if he couldn’t move out of the way in time.

The amplified speed helped her get to her opponent in a flash...and the double chakra pills made the formation of a razor sharp ice blade out of thin air so much easier and faster.

And in all this time, Anry lay chained up in the back of her mind, knocked unconscious, unaware of what was going on outside of the windows that were her eyes.




The explosive tag that was in the shield is now in between all the shards that Anry kicked towards her opponent


OOC: And that would be my final post in this truly epic fight. Thank you VRR, it was a great fight, i utterly enjoyed it.

[Antagonist]

The parasitic armor aura around the Kunai engulfed Anry and when it hit and penetrated deeply in her flesh and stayed there: smothering her in its progressively oppressive effects. oblivious through rage, bloodlust or whatever she payed it no mind and set her hands off in a blister of seals. The excessive movement created excessive weight although amazingly the drive in her managed to keep the arm extended, albeit her hand pointed downwards.

She began kicking small crystal shards at Tenks who could to little more then grimace as the slivers cut and tore at his abdomen: focused on keeping the aura alive he just kept moving slowly backwards, hands kept in seal form.

The excessive movement of Anry's legs began to excessively weight them down and they began to falter on her, yet with a lion's heart she continued onward.

SFX: Gulp! the Ten'un swallows is disbelief of the situation unfolding


*Suddenly the "being" (unsure of what exactly, although it is definitely very real!) leapt forward in a superman pose... well perhaps leap and superman is too strong of word... the para armor effects of the buffed kunai had excessively weighed down her legs that it was more like a face first bunny hop with arm shaking profusely and extended: hand pointed downwards under particularly ridiculous weight.

It was then, in this rag doll superman pose that Anry screamed

“SHIMO BUKI NO JUTSU!!”

The fist aimed downward shot a blade of glass, fast and razor-sharp: impressive even if the fist was pointing straight-downward.

Thus the ever-moving backward's Ten'un was able to ever so slightly dodge death as the girl, obviously spawned from the depths of hell or something continued her rag-doll ascent to the earth

SFX: Bam! Face-plant no Jutsu!

Her head comically bounces off the earth: eager for a second helping: a look of seething hatred in her eyes viewed ever so slightly before her second helping of dirt

SFX: Bam! Oh the Humiliation!

Tenks stopped moving backwards: his own legs now feeling the force of the armor around the kunai despite their cautious movements and instead looked upon his opponent, extended super-man style, slide to his feet in the mud.

Only one saying could some up this situation

Tenks: LOL!

*disgraced that he had said such a moronic thing as "lol" the Ten'un unleashes the para armor seal and grabs his goggles, stretching them away from his face and letting go as punishment. They snap back and smack him hard in the face, knocking him harshly off his feet and to the ground yet again. The battle seemed over as the two combatants lay on the ground defeated.

Wow... um... interesting post? Ok, this fight is done. Go ahead and read my spoilers. Especially the last one... ;)
However, i will not make another battle post. We can leave this to the judges. Fight done!

~*Semi-Final Battle Complete*~

You all have been waiting long enough, so lets get to it...

Von Rockin Roy:

There are two main points that have to be brought out to you in this fight Roy. The first of which, is the content in This Post (http://forum.narutochaos.com/showpost.php?p=490098&postcount=44). Basically this post contains you using an explosive tag to deflect Anryoku's attack away from your body. However, it is very difficult for us to believe that it could have happened. The low visibility of the dust cloud, combined with the high rate of speed that the Hari were traveling, makes it darn near impossible to counter the way you did. Without precognitive abilities, it is unlikely to the highest degree that such a feat could have been pulled off. By the time you saw the needles coming, put your hands into a seal, then released the chakra that was needed to detonate the Explosive Tag, the needles would already have been on top of you.

What really hurt you though, was an ability abuse that you performed repeatedly in the mall. You climbed the building's walls using your Hooked Swords. In your combined training thread with Remz, you were granted the ability to climb the surface of trees and other softer materials. However, building surfaces are much harder then tree bark and such, and would require exponentially greater force to be able to climb with your method. You haven't been tested and approved for such a feat, meaning you pushed what was given to you too far. Although it might be possible to climb building walls using your Hooked Swords, it would require another set(s) of training to pull off with enough proficiency for battle.

Azure Wrath:

For the most part, you had a pretty clean battle. However, there is one place where you skirted with disaster and were flagged for jutsu abuse. Here in, This Post (http://forum.narutochaos.com/showpost.php?p=490793&postcount=49), you used Kawarimi while free falling at a great height. Although you can technically use Kawarimi in such a manner, there are only two ways you can get it to work. The first option, you took away yourself, and the second way... well its just plain dumb. To take the first route, you had to have been near a piece of falling debris with equal or greater mass to yourself. Then you could project yourself over to it. However, you eliminated this option straight away, probably to make your escape seem more elegant or awe inspiring. Now in the second method, you simply use Kawarimi to fall to the ground at an even faster rate of speed then you already are traveling at. Basically, it means you die. However, say for a moment you don't die upon impact. You would then have to get up, sprint over to the debris, pick it up, leap all the way back to where you were in the air, then splat on the ground again. Could not, would not have worked either way you stack it up.

On a side note, in both of your final two posts of the battle... well I don't really know what happened. Although the battle was "over," you both were still in an official match. You would have flunked the Academy if you pulled what you did. "Lol", "XD" and whatever acronyms you can think of, are NOT for official rp situations, much less higher level pvp. Until the judgment is posted, you are still controlling your character, unless you dignify something as "OoC", what you say is what your character says. Although it was all in good fun, we have OoC tags and the Spamzone for a reason.

Strategy also played a role in this battle. Roy, your posts after the initial opener were very weak in their content. As such, the winner of the fight is Kagirinai Anryoku (Azure Wrath).

For winning, Kagirinai Anryoku will advance to the Finals of the Tournament of the Sun, in addition to $200 for winning an official League Battle.

Although your road to the Finals is over Tenks Ten'un, your Journey in the Tournament of the Sun, is not yet come to a close. There is one more fight you must complete. The Consolation Match between you and the other Semi-Final defeated, will decide the 3rd Place Position in the Tournament.

It was daybreak before the Ten'un awoke from knocking himself out in his match with the An~ something or other ice user: and although he had expected an usual odd scene before him with the birds buzzing, bees singing, and what not he was actually surprised with a much more basic, solid image before him as he sat up, rubbing his eyes tenderly. Fain Delarain stood at the doorway: glancing annoyed back and forth from his pocket-watch in his hand to the Ten'un on the cold metal bed, the only object in the otherwise completely bare white room called room 32. His fingers on his other hand moving at a furious speed as if he was trying to count/figure something out.

Not that he was of course, it was just Delarain's way of constantly looking busy as he lived in a world of politics where one must constantly seem such a way

Fain was Tenk's connection to the council

Therefore Fain was Tenk's Livelihood.

He was not a bad man by any means, he just lived in a world of power struggles and deception as he and his comrades used flattery and correctness to arbitrarily rise above each other, destroying one another in the process.

Thus, although fiddling with a pocket-watch and counting on one's fingers might seem like a small annoying habit, the small addition it gave to his image as a busy man had saved his own career and livelihood many times.

Fain used to stand for something of course, radical and new he gathered followers in his pursuit to stream-line Konoha and make it greater then ever, but perhaps considering the world he lived in it's understandable that he inevitably fell into the same role of corruption and deception of all those before him.

Now his task was damage control, Tenks had to fight one more time in search of third place. The Ten'un's 0-3 rise to this final had made Konoha a laughing stock, and now Delarain had to get the Ten'un's head back in the game if he wanted to keep his job.

And considering the mockery that had been made both of Konoha and Fain, its safe to say that if he didn't correct the situation poignantly he would be walked upon like he had done to so many before him.

Fain Delarain, once campaigning for ultimate truths and justice was now in his own little relative world.

and he would do anything to have it not fall apart on him.

He would have to watch his words, but not at the expense of taking his eyes off his watch and busily moving fingers

Delarain: so your awake Ten'un, you lost your match after you let off on the parasitic armor and let your opponent live. So after you knocked yourself out she simply got up, put a foot on your body, and was declared the winner...

...considering the shaky circumstances that got you in the fight in sure you understand Konoha's views on throwing such a desperately needed win away. Killing a Kagirinai would have been an epic reclamation to your sullied name as well as Konoha's and mine...

..you were once one of our brightest young stars, what happened?

*he reached into his pocket and pulled out a leaflet as the Ten'un spoke, holding it up to the light and glancing back and forth between it and the stop-watch, as if trying to decode a secret message.

Tenks: I don't know

*in a rare moment of realism, Delarain speaks free of constraints

Delarain: don't fuck with me Ten'un. You try to take me down with you and I will see to it both Chalice and Yami are thrown into Konoha dungeon and layer the paperwork so deep in bureaucracy that they never come out.

Tenks: where is Yami anyway... since your her MP as well I know you know.

Delarain: I sent her on a mission after some of Sansato's subordinates

Tenks: WHAT! they'll kill her!

*The god's favorite shot out of bed, about to thrash Fain for such ammoral actions when Delarain, not a ninja by any means, held the paper before Tenks eyes.

*he had his own way of fighting, far stronger then a bloodline.

Delarain: This is a transcript of our interrogation of Manekin Ryalashin, puppet swordsman of the hidden mist. It contains information critical for your dream of rebuilding of your clan.

*Tenks eyed the paper in shock, all thoughts of the mysterious girl gone from his head. Delarain put the article back in his pocket and began eyeing the pocket-watch again. massaging his temples in "deep thought".

Delarain: I am a generous Ten'un. Willing to send for yami to come back before it's too late and give you the transcript as long as you do but one thing for me.

*Tenks looked up expectantly, already accepting in his head before the instance was laid out.

Delarain: I do everything with a purpose Ten'un, remember that.

Also remember Mokoto of the fabled Sunaton bloodline. The one that disgraced Eri's memory. You must not only win but kill him. News of a Sunaton's death would completely restore your reputation to new heights and in turn mine. Or else I will follow thru with my threats. A win is not enough.

*The Ten'un's golden eyes glazed over a cold grey in self-reflection,

*The reward was too great, he would break for the his own good.

Tenks: of course Fain, my genius is unmatched by these trash shinobi. I will hit him where it hurts

Delarain: in the heart?

Tenks: no, in the mind. retrieving the clouded eyes on the way out.

Delarain: I must go, your salvageable supplies are with the chunnin guard outside. the supplies from the arena were returned.

Tenks: ... ha... chalice will be my queen in pawn's guise... ku, ku, ku...

Delarain: I will go and get Yami's rescue party ready

Tenks: whatever... perfection... I trust the medics won't get in the way.

Delarain: I already have given the konoha medic orders to up to hold up the kumo and suna medics long enough for the deed to be finished. no interference will occur.

Tenks: I have to go get ready

*The ten'un speeds out, leaving Delarain alone... for once he stops counting his fingers to deliver a silliloque in the soundproof room, even if only for a moment.

It was the nighttime.

Takahashi allowed his eyes open in thin slits, slowly allowing the moonlight diffuse into the dark black pupils of the eyes. He reached for his katana, his pale hand grabbing at the slim weapon. Firmly grasping it, he used its sheath to help him up, the cheaply-made carpet crumpling underneath his weight. His room was a mess; Takahashi didn’t feel the need to clean it. He allowed it to stay in its ramshackle condition so long as he could function properly in it, which he did. Why put in unnecessary effort in something that wasn’t going to do any good? He felt exhausted even though he had just awoken. A cold shower might do him some good so he slipped out of his cloths and slid into the shower allowing cool water to run down his body. Standing in the water for five minutes, his initially warm body began to feel cold and he quickly got out of the shower. Quickly wiping his body with a towel, Takahashi felt relaxed. Sliding into a clean robe and pants, the boy strapped his katana to his back and rummaged through his training equipment and weapons for something suitable for today’s adventures. Suddenly, the boy’s ears perked up as a clunk was heard on the far windowsill.

Today was a day he wouldn't forget. The clunk was of a messenger bird delivering to him a message. It was a battle that was scheduled between him and Wa. They had left off training on good terms but with rivalry strong as ever. The boy hoped he would be able to see some of Wa's wild side. Grinning to himself, he slipped into his robes and stretched slightly. Today's battle would be at Cityscape, an artificial city arena made for the sole purpose of a battle between two shinobi. Takahashi smiled remembering Wa's fair face, light-colored eyes, and strong heart. Wa was less experienced than him but gave him his all. He knew that today, he wouldn't have any advantages over Wa except for the fact that he was older. Wa had already trained with him once and could most likely analyze his abilities from the confrontation. Luckily, it was just a mock battle and they both hadn't given it they're all. Today, it would be different, for sure. They would both be aiming for a taste of the opponent's blood. Reaching into his pouches, he rummaged through his equipment, making sure he had brought everything that was needed.

He reached the arena and perched on top of the Konoha Mall. There, he would have a clear view at the surrounding city. Stretching out his arms a little, the boy squinted into the night sky observing everything and preparing himself for the coming battle.

Takahashi placed an explosive tag upon the plastic gourd that he was dragging behind him. He placed the gourd a little distance away from where he was standing. In addition, he wrapped two explosive tags around two shuriken. If he heard anybody nearby, he would be ready to transform into a brick chimney that would be hard to spot in the dark sky and if just glanced at quickly, would look inconspicuous.

Wa entered the arena. He saw Takahashi and didn't know whether to greet him or what. So he instantly went face to face with him, keeping about 5 feet distance and awaited any words. He wondered if there would be a judge or someone to announce the match officialy starting or ending. He knew now that he had no one to help him. His parents were both dead and Sensei Chris was away. This was his job, his mission, his battle, his fight with Takahashi. He bit into his lip in a manner that wouldn't allow damage to be done and then he leant in. He made one last mental check of everything he had.

It was time for the battle to commence. He awaited his signal to commence the fight. He grasped his sword with a stern fist as he stared his opponent, Takahashi, in the eye. He was ready to devour this man, he was ready to place everything he had right here in this arena.

OoC: Lol, I thought it was nighttime and we start out in different places (like the other battles in this arena).

Takahashi saw Wa walk up to him, polite but fierce. Suddenly, a flare went up into the air and the battle commenced. Takahashi moved swiftly towards his enemy. He would make quick prey of Wa. He moved to the side nimbly and sped towards his enemy. Jumping into the air, he spun and fired two shuriken downwards at Wa. Attached to the shuriken were a pair of explosive tags. The shuriken were thrown so that they curved directly at the opponent's head, both coming from each hand. Therefore, should his opponent dodge the shuriken, they would land some distance away from each other atop the roof, then detonating, covering considerable distance. Landing on the ground adroitly, he observed his surroundings to see if his explosions were able to land a hit. If so, perfect, if not, then there would be more trouble. Takahashi readied a smoke bomb and an explosive tag.

Should the opponent come within five meters of him, Takahashi would throw down the smoke bomb and explosive tag and quickly substitute with the Plastic Gourd that was laying nearby.

Wa saw the two shuriken headed for him. He was given a short amount of time to do anything. His first instinct took course as he kept his head down and sped towards the enemy, and away from the two shuriken that landed in seperate areas behind Wa. The genin now was headed straight for the enemy, whom was already not too far off with the running tactic Wa used to avoid the two shuriken.

As Takahashi came within mid range, Wa created two bushins, all running in a row and all ready to strike with the blood thirsty katana. Now at a few feet apart from Takahashi, the three Wa's leaped (OoC: Not high, only two or three feet in the air) up and then came down at the Takahashi with a verticle slice of the Katana. The left Wa would get Takahashi's right shoulder, if successful, the middle Wa would get Takahashi's head, if successful, and the right Wa would get Takahashi's left shoulder, if successful.


The Left Wa, Wa's left, is the real wa, the middle and the right are the bushins.

Takahashi grinned almost maliciously. The two shuriken were easily dodged by the enemy, uselessly exploding behind him as the opponent began running towards him, creating clones of himself. Takahashi had already prepared for this. He dropped the smoke bomb and explosive tag that was in his hand and as Wa tried to strike him with the katana, the smoke bomb went off just as they were jumping. All three Was were successful, but unfortunately, a loud bang shattered through the night as an explosive tag was detonated, easily destroying anything in range. Suddenly, yet another tag detonated, as if to make sure there weren't any survivors. Plastic shrapnel flew everywhere.

The second explosive tag came from the plastic gourd in which Takahashi substituted with. Now, Takahashi was just a short distance away with his katana and a kunai with explosive tag in hand.

OoC: Basically, you came at me, and while your feet away, I already had prepared to drop the smoke bomb and explosive tag. Therefore, your about to stab me when the smoke bomb goes off, and two explosive tags explode point blank on you... and me too?

The two bushins were shattered, leaving the real Wa to get away from the explosion as fast as possible. He tried what he had done with the shuriken before, since there was nothing more he could do in such a short amount of time. He failed, however, the explosion caught up to him and plunged him forward. He fell face first onto the ground, his coat was ripped up and cuts were all over his body as he put his hands under his torso and quickly stopped moving; he fell unconcious.

What he did under his coat was a kawamari. He switched with a medium sized rock, about two by three feet, and was now in a tree with a kunai in hand and a smoke bomb of his own, hyperventilating

Wa had received a cut about three inches long on the right side of his neck from the back, two 4 and 2 inch cuts on the other side of his neck from the back, a bruise on his left cheek about 3 inches in diameter and a 4 inch cut on his left forearm, which cut the bandage. That was from the explosive tags.

OoC: I'll assume that in that spoiler, you did something to keep yourself from getting becoming unconscious or else that battle would be over.

Takahashi smiled as he saw the unconscious Wa on the floor. Was the battle over? Had he won already? The boy lay flat on the ground, then drank some blood. Ketsueki Kademono: Mole. This technique allowed him to sense any movement nearby. If anything got close to him, he would be able to sense its movement. Unfortunately, it used chakra every second it was activated. Smiling to himself, he realized he was alright because he had used up very little chakra so far. He had only activated explosive tags and completed a substitution, all of which weren't very chakra-consuming.

Using this technique, he was very wary of his surroundings. If anyone came close, he would be ready with an over-used paper in his hand: another explosive tag. In addition, he pulled out a large supply of hari (10) and got ready to throw them. These light-weight weapons would be useful for prickling the enemy with needles that would damage them more so in the long run. Besides, his enemy had taken damage... that would make his overall maneuvers and reflexes significantly slower. As of now, he was safe...

Wa: "(Ok. So far he's taken the offense and is winning....)..."

Wa then initiated a very familiar hand sign and created a bushin. Him and his clone leaped down to the base of the tree and he ordred the bushin to go for the enemy as fast as he could.

As soon as the bushin was ten feet ahead of the real Wa, he threw a kunai that the bushin was used to cover in order to strike the enemy when he wasn't looking.

As the bushin approached his enemy, Takahashi, Wa trailed behind him with Katana in hand and a two kunai in the other. He charged at a fair speed, allowing a decent distance between the two. The bushin was now face to face with Takahashi.

Takahashi's senses were shivering. He knew that the one in front was a bunshin. He could sense the vibrations in the ground. Suddenly, the boy let loose a malicious grin. The real Wa was right behind the bunshin. Jumping into the air, he jumped over the clone. In his hand was his trusted katana and in the other was a kunai with an explosive tag. Takahashi threw it at the feet of the oncoming enemy. If the opponent jumped backwards, it would give Takahashi time to drink a second bottle of blood and activate another part of his jutsu, Ketsueki Kade
