In this contest, here are the themes :

Anime/Manga/Section Specific Icons for:
Naruto
Bleach
One Piece
DeathNote
Shadows of Shinobi
Artist and Writers

Sizes range from 40 by 40 to 200 by 200 pixels. If a person wins-- he will then be challenged to do it at the final size decided upon by the administrators at a later date. ie when all icons are finished and voted for a final specific size will be chosen and all winners will then be made to edit or add whatever they want to their designs but release it in that final size.

From the previous icon contest, i can say that in your final designs, you can be as extravagant as you want. But simplicity and readability is also important. For example, for the post icon for a thread in the Naruto Section or that talks about Naruto-- you can have a plain colored background with the Konoha Crest on it. For Bleach you can have Ichigo's head , for one piece a skull. Simplicity.

This should be good. At least the first icon contest had some entries. So now people should an idea of what to expect. The winners have their icons forever used here unless a new contest comes up. And they should have the choice to edit them later if they so choose.

we need to make mutliple icons, for the different sections
ie,
an icon for naruto
an icon for one piece
an icon for bleach
an icon for the artists section
etc
etc

Hahaha I forgot I was actually working on these I personally think they are tight :D

what animation? Just dont load a gif image of action lol xD it has to be created by you!

it can be gif... as long as its your own work. i dunno if animated gifs will work, will ask reg when she;s online again.

I still don't get it though, is this like botm only with smaller sigs that have to fit into diffrent catagories. Oh and if i make a Naruto one for a entry it can be anything from Naruto right ?

for a while, reg has dedicated this to making icons for NC, though usually the SOTW is where oyu make signatures...

its simple. she wants icons for the respective sections, to be used on the main page. the limitations to the icons are in the first post.

I would suggest making an animated one but making a non-animated one as well just in case. The new botm should appear soon I expect although the longer it takes the longer mine is up, so... :D

And as for the comp itself, I suppose I better get to work. The forums are gonna look wack with all these new icons and stuff XD

Gif will work. otherwise i can convert the winning one to whatever file is needed.
