Hmmm i really liked Moria's look in this. Though he appears to be a man affected wit giantism (ala white beard) instead of an actual giant.

They said that strong zombies are harder to control so if Moria manages to get luffy's shadow into the zombie i think it will be very disobedient (and if it has some of luffys personality perhaps some comic relief). Or maybe his shadow will run away like peter pans lol

Moria's look is awesome. This is when you dont say--"hey-- you gotta look the part"

The guy's looks fell in line with the weirdness and craziness of Thriller Bark. i am soo glad it happened. Had he being too pretty or handsome like most expected it would have been too predictable.

Anyways-- how the heck is luffy going to get his shadow back now?

900号は冷凍室に鎖で繋いで保管してあるドデカイモンスター。

To purify a zombie you throw salt into his/its mouth;

When their shadow is stolen, the original owner will go into a coma for about 3 days. If the original owner dies, the shadow dies as well;

5 years ago Brooke lost to Ryuuma at Thriller Bark;

Franky asks Brooke's reason to keep on living and is touched by his answer and starts crying;

Brooke confronts Ryuuma, saying this time he will win and sth like "the flesh is different so it seems impossible"; (not too clear the meaning here)

In the past Moria lost to someone in the New World, for that reason he's been searching for strong body/shadow since;

In a northern continent he found a satisfying body, he's been waiting for a shadow worthy of this #900 ever since;

Seems by end of the chapter we will be granted a glimpse of 900, which is a huge monster currently stored in a heavily locked frozen room.

Yup-- i am glad it aint happening. Although if Ryuuma's sword become available since Skeletor uses only one sword i wouldnt mind Zoro getting it.

Oda sensei is really unpredictable. Now i feel it will really be an insult to Brooke if it is zoro who rather defeats Ryuuma instead of himself.

This chapter helped make some sense for me. Well, the last chapter too....but i wondered what the deal was with the zombie swordsman...how he was so skilled....now i understand why. which makes brooke even more cooler than he already was. but help me out here, is the zombie already strong before he gets the shadow of the user? i'll have to re-read the chap again but i remember the mentioning of devil-fruit. if the zombies are already strong(not strong like the straw-hats, but not weak like reg humans either) than this will be another tough battle for the straw hats....and it's gonna start with brooke, which will be dope. but i wonder if you're techniques are applied to your shadow also...seems that way. should be a some good fights next couple of chapters.

Well, i certainly think the zombie's are strong depending on how Hogback had treated the body. He already indicated that the bodies of the general zombies for example were special or different from the regular zombies.

Looking at the many different zombies- insects, to mythical beasts like cerberus (reminds you of the Greek three headed guardian of the underworld) and unicorn, which apparently know how to talk and party, most of those zombies look like experiments. Some seem to be for special purposes like captain Talaran (also Spider Monkey) and his minions.

Since hogback gathers famous and strong dead bodies-- depending on the strenght of that body prior to death, plus the kind of treatment, and finally the kind of shadow-- a zombie's strength can be evaluated.

So Ryuuma is definately strong.

This chapter was just awsome. I never expected this arc to turn out this great.
