This is a thread similar to the new ones created for the recent forum sections. And of course this contains and discusses members opinions on how they rate or have been kept interested and enthused by 666 Satan.

Take as a sort of awareness point for those who decide to read it. This is a new section- so it is an effort to sensitize and rally more members here.

All opinions are welcome.

Also dont forget to get involved with One Piece (the #1 Shonen Manga), D. Gray Man, , and FMA manga.

A lot of people believe 666 is better than Naruto. Well one thing for sure is that both manga have many similarities (not only in drawing that looks near identical-but has been explained many times: "twin brothers-same artistic influences".
Its fun that in 666 there's a fight between Kirin and his evil twin brother that could be a little autobiographical. The plot in 666-Satan is a little more chaotic than Naruto, and not so easy to get into in the start. You can say that 666 is less mainstream than Naruto. Still it isn't dark enough to support its vicious name. And as its mainplot come to a climax u still don't know who's the main enemy, Stea? Zenom? Kabbalah? Satan himself? Anyway i think that one major thing in most of famous mangas (DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, etc) is the "power levels" of the characters that evolve like an RPG game but a lot faster. Pple just like many shows to see who is stronger, who will make bigger progress, who have legendary potential. In 666 it still follows the same formula but some characters seem a little too overpowered from time to time, leave not many expectations to follow. I mean who wouldn't believe that an angry Jio could simply eliminate everyone in 666 universe, even himself. Naruto on the other hand we all remember the boy that couldn't deliver a simple blow vs his Sensei Kakashi. Even after all this years in Naruto, main character still isnt consider exactly in pair with most powerful Akatsuki members (at least in the anime, as i cant speak for the manga). I think that characteristic is a little more addicted than 666. I don't know many people with a real 666-Satan addiction like the one you meet in mangas like Bleach, Death Note, or even Prince of Tennis and Fruits Basket.
But i agree its unfair to compare 666 only with Naruto and other even more mainstream manga. Its a nice work, but i cant call it a masterpiece. That title i could give only to Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Naruto.

I believe i would have to disagree with snakeeys. I have read 66 Satan from start to finish and have loved every moment. I would call 666 Satan great. I does draw elements from both Dragonball and Naruto but is more mature than naruto in quite a few ways. I would class 666 Satan as one of the great manga's, but it is in alot of cases very underrated. Whilst there are similarities between naruto and 666 Satan, both characters have a bad childhood, both have demons in side of them etc.

666 Satan is definatly darker than naruto, as described by someone at IGN (forgot who :P) as "Naruto in its blood" and "For people who are tired of naruto and want something with a bit more in it". which i would have to agree with. There is a strong sense of friendship and rivalry between the characters, and while some are hung up on revenge, they are no where near as emo as sasuke lol

I would reccomend it to anyone who likes a good shounen adventure. There is alot of adventureing in 666 Satan. It is not nearly as dark as the likes of Death note, but it is a very good read ^ ^
