How good is this series?

OK ^^ Well to start with D gray man with is one of the best mangas i've been reading and has a unique story to it =[ yet i think alot of people might not be reading the manga, idk maybe they watching the anime since its better but if thats what u doing then i'll wait till it catches up :D, But the anime in my opinion has some ruined episodes, its all great in the start but gets a bit boring later and i just hope it gets into track soon, nothing to say so ^^ i just recommend it for u since you'll really love it :D

I stopped reading D.Grayman awhile ago, i dont watch the show, but it was good, Naruto like, just a little more morbid and grim but i like that. Though i will pick up the manga again later when there is a little gap to where i stopped...

I read maybe 10 chapters and really didn't get into it. I quit. but if a lot of you reccomend it, ill probobaly get back into it.

For some reason I'm itching to start reading this manga, i picked up the last chapter and its looked a bit interesting.. well we'll see I'll even get the first 5 episodes just to see if this is a must watch.... i also like the fact that its been running for some time now, i can sit down a watch anime all day and smoke weed... yahoooooooooooooooooooooo!

This manga is great. I would advise anyone who stopped reading for a while to pick it up again. It got super good as soon as allen got crowned clown and then became general material, plus the whole noah thing. Can't wait for anime. The anime doesn't do the manga justice at the moment, but hopefully that'll change. I wish more people would read the manga, or if they already do then post here. This place is kind of a graveyard

The manga is indeed good. I like the direction it is going and it isnt as typical as other shonen.

lvl4 looks super strong. Either allens evolution continues (with some sort of ichigo like power-up), or another general comes to the rescue.

No i don't. Imo, i think the Noahs are stronger than any Akuma. I just think the issue is he has never had to deal with something like this before.

This manga is great I recommend it if you like action, which includes people with a gift from god in order to destroy monsters known has Akuma which are made from humans souls...

The anime is good as it gets straight to the point and isnt like DBZ so far its only up to episode 71... Personally Id recommend the anime because the manga that I've seen is pretty bad quality, no offence if anyone is connected with the scanlations of it..

i watched up to ep 8, was ok though it would be alot betetr if it was more brutal. They got the possesion etc down, but what would make this anime great would be lots and lots an lots of gore. imo ofc

I'm not to sure about the "gore" but sometimes did make me intrigued in why a few episodes had crap loads of blood from Akuma but not in others?? Did anyone else who has watched the on going series also notice this? (I noticed it on the Kanda episode with the really crap and stupid finder, it was a filler tbh..)

the problem with the DGM anime for me is, that most of the first episodes are fillers (after the Krory session), but the manga is great, cool story, nice chars but as many people already mentioned, it can be pretty confusing

right now i'm really anxious about every chapter that comes out, the current fight is just too exciting (and made in a Very, VEry, VERy, VERY confusing way, lol)

I just started watching a couple weeks ago, love it. Definately enjoying it more than the current butchering of Naruto. Gonna be sad when I catch up though, no more marathons of like 5-8 eps at a time. I'm already at 70, and the kick-ass meter rose a few more points with that ep :P

yea theres way too many fillers somewhere in the middle... i never read the manga but i could tell which episodes were fillers.
