Hey, didn't see any topics specifically about this, so I figured I'd make one to ask. In the latest One Piece episodes (such as 301 and 302), after the previews for the next episode, there's something with flashbacks to the Crocodile/Baroque Works saga redone with much better quality and artwork, but they're never subtitled by anyone. Does anyone know what these are?
It looks almost like an ad for a new One Piece movie, but surely they wouldn't do a movie on something that was already in the series, and over half the anime series ago. So anyone know what it's for, or at least what it says at the end of the clip?

Hey, didn't see any topics specifically about this, so I figured I'd make one to ask. You are at a luxury to make any relevant topics. This section is just about 3 weeks old. So dont worry about it.
I am even hoping for more threads. That is what the section was made for.

Yes-- that was the movie. It should be on DVD hopefully soon. I dont know why but they did. Crocodile's arc was and is one of the best if not the best by sone in OP. So re-animating it in Movie 08 is something i really will want to see.
I will move this thread to the movie section.

Alright then, I read in one of the anime forum's topics that this Movie 8 was released back in the beginning of March. Any news from any fansubbers when/if we can hope to see a subbed version of the new movie? I'd assume after a DVD comes out, but still, any ideas?

The usual suspects-- ADC or vegaplunk-- unless a new subber comes out.
But they cant unless the DVD is out. Which i have no idea when. we should be looking till the end of this year as that is how it usually takes for a DVD to come out.
