amazing add-ons such as:

customizable skins
integrated pop-up blocker
customizable and auto-learning pop-up blocker
status download bar integrated into broswer
originators of the tabbed windows (damn ie for stealing it....mozilla should sue if they could)

ha no way. ie is way slower than firefox. i can open 7 tabs/pages of firefox while one is still loading of ie.

i only keep ie for the windows updates. bah otherwise its trash.

Its a perfect broswer that is way better then FF imo!

It has everything FF has and now the addons are managed very easy!

And my IE is superfast! I can open as many tabs as i want without a seconds delay! I see no point in switching! I have even experianced firefox as a slower browser! And i can't find myself around it, it seems complicated and complexed. IE has all i need, a browser, thats all! Who gives a fuck about "omg i can add a little twirly icon on the left side of the browser, FF is teh yber"... phokkers...

Every browser in the market is free... so that should not be one's standard for choosing a browser. I am a customer and I prefer quality I dont care about open source...

but it haven't been always the case. IE was always free but they really did not make it better.

Appearance of FF changed the market forcing other companies to make their products free and high quality. and for only that you should stick with FF. Unless someone else offers a better product

but currently that is not the case.

For long term use IE is not that good, since it will start to give you errors after few hours ... But FF usually don't ... Opera is also good, similar to FF in many cases ...

The only thing that is good in IE is its customization and you don't need any plugins, they are all built in and ofcourse the download system, i like it better than FF ...

IE is still most popular browser but (in my opinion) only because it is used by people who haven't got much idea about the internet, computers.
Since it is not the case with NC members, there is no surpise that FF is so popular.

I am sitting currently on my mom's laptop and it has only IE. On my computer I have installed FF which I find superior to IE7 (not much). Furthermore I shall not support microsoft because of IE6 which for years was unchanged, with bugs troubling common users.
They upgraded their product only when they started to lose market to FF. For that FireFox earned my heart and my choice!
