Well,kira ain't really a god,he just acts like one,and I say it is wrong because he made so many people depend on him,and he killed many people,even if they where murderers he was still evil.Oh and don't use the God thing on me,it never really makes me change my mind.Its not that I'm atheist,more like the opposite,and a lot of the stuff I heard about the bible sounds like a bunch of metaphors to me.And that is my opinion. :)

L had the resources of the world's police departments and intelligence agencies, in addition to being completely willing to break laws when it suits him best (Refer to the camera's, arresting then TORTURING Misa, creating and using a false identity, holding light against his will without evidence or prosecution of his crime, ETC.)

Light has the death note which can only be used with specific information, a Shinigami who is more interested in eating apples than helping him, a girl who's only useful attribute is she's too stupid to tell she's being used, and another Shinigami who only wants to help out the OTHER Death Note holder.

L and Light have both proven to be immoral heroes, willing to do what it takes to achieve their goals. L put a man on TV, just to see if Kira could kill him. L put Matsu on TV knowing it was POSSIBLE that Kira could kill based on sight, or at least that second Kira could. Light killed FBI agents who got in his way, people who where part of the institution the made him so needed to begin with.

Needless to say I vote Kira, simply because he's trying to better the world, while L is simply trying to prove he's one of the good guys.

I believe that Misa is actually dumb. Luck is not a form of intelligence. The only sign of forethought we've seen of her is when she intended to meet Light, or rather Kira, who she felt was recieving the messages. Even then, we know she didn't have the insight into how not to get caught. Too many mistakes to be 'playing the fool'.

Well, it's not like she is a genius or anything, but she does have a average, if not slightly above average intelligence. She isn't nearly as smart as Light or L or anything, but she would have to be smart to be able to pull of what she did. The fact that she got caught as the second Kira is due to L's insane reasoning skills, and the fact that she is too obsessive to stay away from Light, not because she was too dumb to cover her tracks. In fact, I think a major part in Lights ability to get away with things is that seeing as he is practically a sociopath, he can avoid emotional attachments that could potentially hinder him. Hasn't he considered killing his family before? Anyway, Misa doesn't have that ability, she is too emotional, and this is her downfall, not her idiocy.

It's funny L is like the weirdest human being besides unindustrialized people,but I loved it when he died and missed him because Mello and Near suck. I mean Near is alright in his own little way but his deductions almost came out of thin ear, unlike L's who we've seen how his thought process works.

Kira was something like a God he got too cocky and lazy though,his plan was still great to defeat Near, Mikami just makes me wanna shoot him in the head and to think he was cool until the end.

Near and Mello weren't as good as L, because most of the time they had to use L's resources and other things he left behind. Kira would have won, if Mikami had done what he told him to. But he didn't and ended up losing because of that. Mello isn't even in the picture.

L was way better than Kira.

It's not that I nescessary hate Light, he's a well worked out character as far as aristics go, but the persona himself is unstandable for me. The first episode presented him as sympathic, smart guy who just wants the best for everyone. But later on, I grow more sick of him with every single thing he did. Rejecting and killing off everyone working for him, even his own father just to keep himself save, made the character not only lose all appeal to me, but also made his actions more unbelieveable. One of the main reasons I admire the Death Note series so much are the realistic, down-to-earth tones of the characters. They're just people who do, what they think is right. But Light defines his own "I am justice" creed by acting like some mindless, brutal thug. He becomes more illogical and more inhuman as the series goes on, and despite being the genius he is presented to be, never stops and takes a look at his deeds.

i vote for Kira also, he had good intentions at first but ended up going insane because he got drunk with power..he was very smart knew how ot handle his business and stay under the radar for the most part.. what i dont like about him is how hed sacrifice his family members in a heart beat or just used people who actually loved him or others close to him

I went for L. Light's intention was to rid the world of evil, and that it was worth sacrifice, which i understand wholeheartedly. However, he would use anyone to achieve his goal, but in the end, he begged for his life from the one who wrote his name in the death note, just like so many others probably did..
