With this being a new section and all-- this thread should be mighty helpful for other new ones that decide to start watching eventually.

This thread is for you to write down your impressions, emotions, and rating of each Episode you watch. Especially for the new fans of One Piece anime who started watching just a week or so ago. Come In here.

Always indicate the episode you watched and your feelings/opinions thereof about it. Also add the episode # as a title of your post.

Old viewers of One Piece are also welcome.

If this topic is for people to summarize the episodes then it might not be the topic for me, I don't really want to get spoiled and I am sure some of the newcomers don't want to get spoiled either. What I can do is to write my opinions and feelings for the episodes for the one piece newcomers. (This is probably the more reason to this topic, so here goes)
I will say this first: Episode 18 will probably be the most useless episode to watch but you should watch it anyway since it is not a filler and the future episodes might be affected by this episode in some way.

The drawings of this anime might be pretty weird to some of you, but I guarantee you will be used to it starting episode 7~

Episodes 1: This is more like an intro episode as suppose to be. The ending might make you want to watch the next episodes.
Episodes 2-3: This is where the real thing starts. Good episodes.
Episodes 4-8: These episodes were not that bad. Episode 4 was pretty interesting.
Episodes 9-18: Really good episodes. Pretty sad episodes depending on how you look at it. This is where the long arcs start coming in.
Episodes 19-30: I was pretty amazed on these episodes, definately good. And boy, episode 24 was the best episode yet.
Episodes 31-45: Really sad episodes. I nearly cried toward episode 40 or somewhere there. Episode 45 might give people a lot of hype. It sure did gave ME hype.

I probably will keep updating this post since it is like one of the first posts in this topic for the newcomers to see. But one thing about this anime is that whenever I watch this anime it almost feels like I am in it. The way they stall everything and explain everything is outstanding, they do it better than naruto and bleach.
But bleach is the more experienced anime at striving more fans ;)

Well, it is both about your impressions and that could include summaries if you wish (but of course as indicated one can go to Wiki to get summaries).

Would anyone tell me if episode 200-299 are really really good and better than the ones I have watched so far? (1-165) meaning good action, good information, and many great surprises?
I know im a few episodes away from season 4 and I heard the season 4 opening is pretty good, and usually when there is a good opening then the season will be good as well. Don't know why but its true.
My friend told me it gets better in the 200s but I wan't to make sure- and 2 answers are better than 1.

Yes it does. Me Personally, i loved all of them. Although i must say that one of my favorite arcs(sagas) will still be the ones involving Baroque Works.

You will love it. Fun and jokes-- ooh yeah- more fights mmm!!! MMM!!!

Yeah- the fights just keep getting better animated as the episodes keep going.
Baroque works arc (or crocodile w/e) was the best arc IMO, the offenses just kept bouncing back and forth (sanji with his flashy plans and such and crocodile with his) it was so fun to experience it.


Nico Robin is just too sexy when they show her. I love it when the anime shows her. She is lovely when she fights and her accent/voice is PERFECT for her role and attitude. Im on episode 175 right now, she is indeed hot when she fights ;)!
edit: And zoro is getting cooler too, he is inventing new techniques and such that are cool- such as the long range thing. I think he is funner and funnier to watch when he is split up with the chicks. I really really really really hope they show zoro splitting up with luffy and end up with nico robin and nami again in the future. Zoro doesn't really match with luffy, I say luffy matches with sanji and usopp. Chopper is better off by himself he doesn't get boring to watch that way. Sanji can be pretty funny to watch if hes by himself also.

I havent watched the dubs since my first awful experience :mad: so i always keep wondering if they did get to feature her in an episode. Her voice would be the most important element i would have looked for. if 4kids got there- i hope they didnt butcher her too

but thats what i love about OP, its not just brutal action but it also plays with your emotions a lot like that time when Carue almost got killed off trying to help Vivi escape from that transvestite freak Mr. 2, i honestly shed a tear, Im glad Sanji kicked his ass lol but when it goes action its even better like Zoro vs Mr. 1 that was a piss-ur-pants awesome fight. I cant wait to catch up to that CP9 thing u guys are always talkin bout because if it is better than this...

Oh and one more thing, why the heck did they put Ms. AllSunday in the opening credits? that just spoils it cuz now we know she will join the crew and it wont come as a surprise when she does. even though she saved luffy i still wouldnt have expected that

I feel the same way about many people in the most recent couple episodes, especially your last comment about what would really suck... In One Piece, they really do make it seem surreal when someone either dies or seems to be dead, either scenario, even for some of the villains when they're beaten...

no way, I think the Goat Island arc is next Then Rainbow mist? Goat island isn't very exciting but its very short(2 or 3 eps) so what the heck and Theres no way you would wanna miss the Rainbow mist arc. When i was watching it i didn't even know it was filler

Meh, I already skipped 'em. I might go back and watch it if I'm bored. I watched the Apis/weird feathered dragon arc, I thought it was a part of the story. O_o

Okay now, another question: I watched all the episodes on www.veoh.com, the episodes were all subbed by kaizoku fansubs, and were excellent quality. From around 208+ they don't have any more eps from Kaizoku. Does anyone know of other places I can watch one piece online? I don't really wanna download all the eps. =/

I really like One Piece, it's probably the best anime I've seen in a while. I'd just rather read the manga for all other anime's. ^_^
