Has anybody else here seen this anime?
I started downloading it to pass the time until the new Naruto episode came out and I totally fell in love with it.
It's funny and also sad..it's everything wrapped up into one nice little package.
I was a little gutted tho, I read that there are 52 episodes of this anime, after downloading 18 I went on a search for more and couldn't find them anywere...well, I took a look around and found out that this too is a brand new anime and they are currently waiting for episode 19 to be relised *bangs head against the desk*

I can't wait to get hold of the next episode, I simply love it.
I can just recomend this one.

i think it's episode 7...right after Ed becomes a national alchemist...if you don't want this episode spoiled don't read below!



one of edward's friends has to create something for the national alchemist something or other, so he can stay a national alchemist. this guy is famed for creating a cihmera that can talk. But he has a secret way of creating them. he takes people and transforms them into the chimera, thats why it can talk. but in the episode, he takes his only daughter and the dog and transforms them into the chimera..its quite the shocker. later the newly created chimera gets slaughtered by some guy

I you don't want any spoilers and just want to know what FMA is all about in general read this:

In this world, there exist people with special abilities to manipulate objects and transform those objects into other objects. These people are known as alchemist. However, this manipulation process does not come without cost, as the basic alchemy rules stated that something with equivalent cost is needed to perform the manipulation.

The main character is a famous alchemist named Edward Elric, who loses his little brother Alphonse in an accident. Edward manages to contain his brother's soul in a large piece of armor suit. However, merging the soul and body of the dearly departed comes with great cost, so the two brothers must embark on a journey to find a mysterious power amplifier which can reduce the cost to manipulate objects greatly.


Bap, I think it's even worse when the Scar get's hold of the Chimera..then again..thinking about it..it is bad when Ed and Al realize what really happend after they see it for the first time and the Chimera calls Ed brother....

ive seen 1-13 but i think 19 is out so im going to go watch up to it... yes its an awesome show, no ninjas though, just alchemists. Alchemists being these people who manipulate matter using science using the law of equivelant trade.

I just stared watching from episode 1 again, and I thought that it was pretty shocking from the beginning..that thing they resurected and the other things which happend to Ed and Al are defenetly not pretty.

Even tho Ed isn't a ninja..he still kicks ass :wink:

at first i was like WTF!!!!!!!! is that lol not much left of ed.... and that thing looked awesome i want to fin da screenshot of that thing, but the best looking thing was what that guy did to that chimera... can you say kaboom! i wish they showed it... such a mess it left

I was looking for new anime to watch and I saw the first epi and at first I was like, wtf is going on, cause the first epi had limbs dissapear and it looked like that al guy was inside out, but then I saw the rest of the episode and it wasn't that bad, anyone know any sites that supply episodes? SO far I've been getting them from Kazaa.

Newayz, Its kinda confusing now, cuz the Homunculus came in and they're all evil and stuff . They kill EVERYONE who finds out what they were doing except for scar, cuz he never dies. Also, they hire some mercenaires to kill Isbal people, which is weird. I think the Isbal ppl are the only ones who can kill 'em :)

I think that they are the result of using the philosopher's stone to reserect a human. I think that the human is made but the soul can't be tied to the body after a certain time.

Hell I love this Show Good stuff all the way bit much when You download the first ep though then find out its been licenced :evil: Still Watch what I can and wait for MVM to release the DVDs over here in the UK for me to purchase but knowing what Animes like over here more like a slow drip than a Flood :( and Hopefully the MVM DVDs will be uncut and have a Japanese dialogue here hoping. Hopefully though we still get those heros of the internet who still Fansub it an distribute it illegally (hell its only bad if you get caught :D) Heres hoping Funimation do a Half decent job of airing it and DONT CUT ANYTHING OUT either way I dont see the God awful Toonami channel over here getting any decent anime ever so TV showing it isnt much of a problem just the DVDs need to be released ASAP and of a good quality

The reason most people are having trouble finding this anime on the net is because FUNimation(damn them to an eternity in hell) has licensed it. Fortunately you can still get the torrent at supernova.org (you absolutely have to love this site). I'm not sure about endless-anime, last time I checked it was down. Oh, and if any of you wanted to know, FUNimation will be airing the series on Cartoon Network starting in October....or is it November?
