Predictions

I'll try to avoid mentioning too much plot, assuming that there are alot of people who haven't caught up yet. But what do you think is going to happen?

I figure eventually Light will beat L but I don't see him ending as the "god" of earth.

If you read the manga don't even post in this thread. If someone spoils this series in even the slightest way for me i'm gonig to flip out like a 5 year old and spam your email accounts, IMCP your connection, punch your dog, slap your mom and kick your pappa in the nuts. And if you don't have a dog/mom/pappa that's all going to happen to you!

I can't really see Light getting his powers back. If he did then he'd be able to kill L pretty easily I imagine now that he's gotten so close to him. I mean, he'd pretty much HAVE to kill L since i'm sure L is going to claim Misa is the second kira after what she did in the last episode.

I think L will tell Light that Misa is the second kira because of last episode and Light will realize that everything points to him being the real kira. Then he'll have to try to stop the other kira while at the same time trying to outwit himself so he doesn't end up getting kira's powers again.

Too bad the new kira isn't as great as Light was as kira. He's kinda lame acting and doesnt seem to really think stuff out. Plus we need Lights shinigami back in the series. I misss him :P Seeing as it was his idea to mess around with the deathnote and humans, I can't see him not being in the series again.

yeah i really miss Ryuk and old Kira too and all the righteous killing by him..lol.It could get a bit twisted there with Light trying to stop himself.But still he already thought that he would have done the same thing as kira did when killing people that deserved to die.I think that he himself discovers out that he is/was kira,but not try to stop himself then but go along with the plan he thought through when he WAS kira.So he accepts that he was kira and becomes one again without owning a death note...which he later receives from Ryuk...^_^.Kinda stupid prediction i made...
