Ok, this thread is like a recopilation of some cool effects I and people (that means you) can post in here. This effects, though, are not very complicated, so that's why is named SIMPLE EFFECTS so that means that aside of being simple, they're effects, so please, keep with yourself the tutorials of how to make a signature. This thread will eventually being updated every week, so stay tuned!

NICE AND SIMPLE BACKGROUND GRAPHIC

Let's start with a new document with a black background (recommend size 600 x 600 pixels)

Then press D on your keyboard to reset your colors,
And then X to swap them.

Select your brush tool
Use the following settings:

And start creating some random lines like in the following image:
http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w146/ero-marmot/2.jpg

Go to Filter > blur > Radial blur and use the following settings:
http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w146/ero-marmot/3.jpg

After that go to Filter > stylize > Find edges

One more time go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur und use the same settings as above

Next press on CTRL+I ( this will invert your colors )

This is my result:

After that press on CTRL+U ( This will open Hue / Saturation window )
and change the color as you wish. (don't forget to mark the colorize option!)

Hope you like it!

Next week i'll show you how to transform a normal photograph into a cartoon image!

cool img, though, here it is.......

WATER REFLECTION EFFECT

Here's the image we'll use along this tutorial:

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u286/tut_mania/water-reflection-initial-pic.gif

Then, duplicate the layout with the picture and choose Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical. Move the duplicate picture:

Now go to Filter > Liquify and distort the duplicate picture. Choose the Brush Tool in the Tab Tools “Airbrush Soft Round 200” and delete a area to adjust the bottom of the duplicate picture. And the result:

As usually, hope it works for something :D oh, and for people, remember you can post your results and/or your own effects!
