ok i got inpspired to open a wallpaper thread...i got instructions from Azure wrath (ero-sannin?? jk) :D..and here is my first wallpaper....it will look crap but will keep improving :D

make a layer over the lens flare, give it a cloud render of two dull=ish colours and set the bledning mode to either hue or colour. that'll help a bit.
secondly.. STARS!!

try making that the outer glow is not present at the darker areas of the planet...

Well the lightning looks dark, maybe u could have lightened it up a bit, and the render looks kinda spoiled but thats a really nice try, i raelly loved ur first one but maybe a dif background color would have helped =p

The blur is too prominent, make it a little more subtle and it'll look good.
