Ok. Kishi's original idea for naruto was for it to be about demon summoners. Getting back to the heart of the intent, we should discuss this topic here in detail.
Here are some links on the topic to start conversation flowing:

What's there to discuss about?

Wow, you guys...wow.
I liked the preNaruto idea more than this one, but can easily see why he changed. Naruto (Ninja) is a much easier principle to work on a general public, where as Naruto (Demon) would be a far less diverse crowd. Gotta' go where the money is, but I think the Naruto (Demon) idea was better.

Go for it! Its hard though. Be ready to do alot of studying, excercises, and soul searching/development. This stuff is dangerous if you dont know what youre doing, so be careful.
I didn't bother to read anything on those links but I suppose that there were theories about how to summon the demons? lol

The practice of summoning using direct magic stems back to the idea of pacts between the spirit and Summoner. While most methods of the time call on God or higher spirits to watch over the Summoner, the idea developed that instead of fighting with spirits much too high for one's own capability, perhaps a greater number of lesser spirits could be called for the same effect, or, just maybe, that calling the correct spirit the first time might be preferable. Demons would not be imposed upon with their supposedly stronger counterparts or forced into unwilling service by other beings, but would be given an opportunity to work their will as they usually would in a situation which is pointed out by the Summoner. If one wanted to see the death of another person, for example, instead of following the bloated and God-fearing rituals of Solomon or creating trinkets and adhering to the purity rituals of Abramelin, the Summoner would call a lesser demon of death and simply point out the target. Since this is a demon of death, which in the natural order of things would be in the business of causing death anyhow, the Summoner only asks that their particular instance be considered before the demon returns to random works. The demon obeys, in this case, not because they are compelled to by force but because they are compelled to obey their own nature. A demon of greed fosters greed, and that is its nature, and likewise a demon of lust fosters lust and that is its self-imposed duty. The Summoner plays the part of spiritual coordinator, in this sense, merely showing preferential targets to the appropriate demon through their refined skill to communicate with spirits on their level.
Consider this when you imagining summoning something like "Kyuubi".
You are not giving it orders, you are facilitating it's own desires.
You can do this with people as well. Its called social engineering.

If you have doubt or fear about this, its not going to work anyway. The reason for this is because you are using your inner self to do this. When you doubt yourself, you are right, if you dont, you are right. Fear blocks everything up. If you are going to have fear or doubts concerning these matters, get rid of those before attempting it. When it doesnt work because of your fear an doubt, you'll come back ranting about how it didnt work and how nobody else should try it. This is the reason why you have this impression. You were poisoned with the idea from someone who either failed or heard it from someone who tried and it didnt work for them. You are the victim of social engineering designed to protect society from itself.
Mull that over a while, at least for a day.

if i do decide to approach this i wouldnt do it with fear or doubt.
and i do agree with u about how terribly blind most of society is and how we are all brainwashed from a very young age so we could be another cog in the machine to keep us going.

A cog in the machine eh? And how do you stop being a cog then? Even if you break all ties w/society and become a recluse, you are still affecting chaos by just breathing and staying alive. Everyone affects everyone all the time. People can look at it as "Locked in thier place in the machine", or like "I am the machine, I am the god of the machine, and so is everyone else."
Perspective.

yea u become useless to society if u break off...
thats why we have prisons and mental institiutions and even special schools.

Yeah but if if you go to prison you are still affecting society. A given state gets soooo much money for each person they put in jail. Mental Institutions and Special School make loads of money too.
