Whoa. Whoa. Just saw it a few hours ago, and man that was some good stuff. A little on the weird side, but definetly worth every minute. Fan-boy's should get a kick out of it, too, nice panty shots :D. The dub sounds ok, but this is the first time I can't wait to hear what the original Japanese voices sounded like. Watch it and you'll see what I mean. Anyone know when it comes out on DVD?

It's a six episode comedy series. I enjoyed it a lot, the music in the series is pretty good too. Everyone should check out FLCL.

The music did really fit in well with everything on the screen, and just like Bebop, it enhanced what you were seeing. Check it out weeknights on Adult Swim at 12. It is very different, so open your mind.

Well, episode 3 has come and gone. It didn't seem as shocking as the last one I saw (maybe cuz I was sorta used to it...what am I saying, there is no getting used to it), though it was still off the cuff. Yay for even more panty shots and female ass bending (attention Mods: we need a drooling smilie in our repetoire). Now if only real girls walked around doing that we'd be set.
P.S. I hope I don't get a headache anytime soon, I would be too worried about destructo freak robots popping out

Well, now I have seen it all on Cartoon Network. Last night's FLCL with Haru's bare-ass sticking out from under her nighty. Wow, never thought I'd see something like that on CN. I enjoyed the Lupin spoof last night, as well.
FLCL is from 1999 so the Matrix had already ripped off FLCL. The Subs are way better than the dubs and you can contact me for info on if want to buy it. Great series I just wish it wasn't so short.

It's probably only a rumor. Gainax only made 6 episodes of FLCL.

The dub wasn't that bad. It was just hard getting used to Naota's dub voice. Haruko's was just right. Her voice sounded just like the Japanese voice, in my opinion.

It is not just complete randomness. If you rewatch the series a few times you'll really understand it. Every one just assumes its random because they don't get it. :|

Lol, thats my favorite kinda anime...absolutely crazy.....flcl is my second fav. anime next to bebop...just cuz spike is the MAN.... 8)

Its one of the greatest anime works ever, and im proud to say I SAW IT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT!!! I went to the store where i get anime and they wher elike "New shipment from japan, its a brand new anime that jsut came out" and i was all like "Cool" and they showed me a bit, and i got it! GO ME!
I am now forced to hate all of you that saw it by Adult Swim...im sorry (my mind works in odd ways....THIS MOST DEFINATLY APPLIES TO THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK YOU'RE TRIGUN FANS AND SAW IT ON ADUTL SWIM, ILL CHALLENGE ANYONE TO A TRIGUN TRIVA CONTEST ANY DAY....sorry trigun gets me alittle roudy...really fast)

I have to say I haven't seen the original trigun but the ones I saw on adult swim where still vwery good. though I deffinately think it would be better in japanese.

flcl is reallllly cool. i have like a million unanswered questions though, like a lot of it didn't make sense to me, or do i just think that? i forgot everything i wanted to know :/

FLCL is just good. I loved this little series. Although a part of me wishes that it were longer, after looking at the series as a whole, it works out fine in it's 6 episodes. Honestly, I think if it were a regular length series, it would get old and boring. Instead, it's just short and sweet. And, man, is it well crafted. I'm not just talking about the pretty pictures, but the editing and the way shots are set up are just good. On top of that, the music just rocks! It's not as good as Bebop in my opinion, but then again, i perfer jazz to rock. (that dosen't stop me from getting all the soudtracks from both series though) I definatly like the Pillows. Gainax gets another one right.

ya i have seen the series to and the music is sure awsome. it keeps you guessing on alot of things in that anime and has pointless scenes but it is still cool lol :wink:
